A thread for all of us who have very recently discovered we're upduffed, with a due date of the achingly-long-away February 2017. It's early days for us all so there's lots of good news, sad news, sage advice and never-too-silly questions.

Second thread already! First is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/2642653-Due-in-February-2017?

Evergreen17 · 24/06/2016 22:06

Hope I am so sorry to hear this. I cant believe that you had already gone through a loss and now you are suffering this.
I have not experienced this myself so I can't honestly imagine how you might feel, neither can I give words to help as don't feel I know.
But thinking of you and so very sorry FlowersFlowersFlowers

Blueskies80 · 25/06/2016 00:30

Hopefor I am so sorry to hear that - it's so desperately hard to have to go through MC, especially for a second time Flowers
I had my second in November and I remember it well. Am thinking of you and hope you are well looked after and the period of waiting goes as quickly as it can and you recover well Flowers

Highhopes am still thinking of you Flowers

Evergreen I just read about your friend and I'm sorry that was awful. you did exactly the right thing but what a shame she put you in that position.

I am 9 weeks tomorrow. I am still not sure how things are progressing obviously as no early scan. Still feeling pregnant although not as ill as I was last week. I just don't still believe that this will work out! Londongirl you are right this is such a strange time to be pregnant given the referendum result, everything is so surreal at the moment.

Dutchy88 · 25/06/2016 07:16

So I finally got 3+ on a digi this morning (over two weeks after I got 2-3) but then also had some more bleeding. Why is this period so difficult?! Tuesday can't come soon enough.

So sorry hopeforme take care of yourself.

wispaxmas · 25/06/2016 08:13

dutchy, that's a really good sign I think. If the bleeding was a mc surely your hormones would have had to have dropped to trigger it (though I know hormones can keep rising with a mmc, but then there's no bleeding, right?).. I may be grasping at straws, but it's a tough time in these early threads, there's always going to be some heart break, but I know plenty of people who ended up having totally healthy pregnancies and babies with bleeding and slow hormone rises. Just a few more days until Tuesday, FX!

wispaxmas · 25/06/2016 08:27

As for me, I'm still plagued by nausea at random times and feel totally fine others. Annoyingly last night DH and I went out to celebrate our anniversary and had Thai.. I love Thai curries usually, and even though it tasted divine it made me feel like I was going to to be sick! It was heartbreaking. That, and I couldn't finish one small glass of prosecco, either. Sad

Off to work today (I'm mostly a SAHM, but have a zero hours contract with work some weekends and school holidays to keep from having a gap on my resume) and very tired already, so I might tell my coworkers today that I'm pregnant. Maybe.

ScottishSnowflake · 25/06/2016 08:37

Hello all, apologies, just catching up on the thread.

Highhopes and hopefome, so sorry to hear what you're both going throughFlowers think of you both during this difficult time.

I'm doing ok. I have nausea 24/7 but I'm one who finds that it'll go away when I eat. Means I'm grazing almost constantly. Work have also started to ask if I'm pregnant (my manager knows but no-one else). I'm waiting until 12w to tell them although telling mine and DH's parents a week today. I'm 7+1. I wish my booking in appointment was sooner than 9+6 as wondering how that'll affect me getting my 12w scan in on time.

PhoebeGeebee · 25/06/2016 08:49

scottish not sure how it works in other places, but I had my booking in appt on Wednesday (9 weeks exactly) with a community midwife and she'd already had confirmation of my 12 week scan date. Do you know if you're 'in the system' yet?

Evergreen17 · 25/06/2016 08:57

Thanks blueskies Smile
Omg 9 weeks!!! You are almost 3 weeks ahead of me!!
I dont feel pregnant Sad Midwife said as long as you feel pregnant (to reassure me) and I said but I dont!! Then she reminded me of the sore boobs Hmm so I guess...

Duchy I just got 3+ yesterday, at 6+2 Smile

Scottish I thought I had to wait to see the midwife to book the scan but I didnt, so I feel silly now. I just had to send a form, could you ask?

wispaxmas · 25/06/2016 09:12

Evergreen, "feel pregnant??" That's a bit silly, I expect loooooaads of worm don't feel pregnant until they start showing or feeling movement. Last time I certainly didn't 'feel pregnant,' this time I barely do, only because being a second I already feel like my waist has expanded loads!

wispaxmas · 25/06/2016 09:13

*women, not worm!

ScottishSnowflake · 25/06/2016 09:45

Thanks Phoebe and Evergreen. I don't know if I'm in the system yet so I think checking and then asking for the scan form at the Dr's this week will be a good idea (if my midwife hasn't already done it). I'll double check before I end up with 2 appointments! Thanks both Smile

CeeCeeEnnEss · 25/06/2016 09:50

So sorry hopeforme Sad

I had my early scan this morning and am happy to report a little bean in there with a lovely heartbeat Grin dates moved slightly so am apparently measuring 7+3 and due February 8th, but that may change again at the 12 week scan. Husband and I completely overwhelmed this morning!

Evergreen17 · 25/06/2016 10:09

Wispa thanks I dont feel any different Sad just sore boobs.
Good luck scottish Smile

Ceecee that is AMAZING!!! GrinGrinwhat dates did you think you were? Hmm

Scarydinosaurs · 25/06/2016 10:16

Wow ceecee! I had my dates move by TEN days of what my LMP indicated on my last baby, and then had a whole pregnancy of them telling me she was measuring small 😤 She arrived exactly on the EDD I worked out, so felt smug about that.

7 weeks tomorrow! Wow, it's gone so quickly! After my arm and stretches yesterday, I'm now onto legs again. I have serious muscle ache and DH promises me this is the only way to get through it. I hadn't realised how unfit I had become!! Really hoping it will help pelvic floor and core muscle support for my backs and hips!

CeeCeeEnnEss · 25/06/2016 10:54

Eek! I thought I was 8 weeks today, but mainly based on guesswork because my cycles are nuts. We did lots of shagging so I couldn't pinpoint it (heard after that apparently that 'dilutes' potency but not sure how true that it!).

I need to work out again scary, but am currently eating biscuits.
