A thread for all of us who have very recently discovered we're upduffed, with a due date of the achingly-long-away February 2017. It's early days for us all so there's lots of good news, sad news, sage advice and never-too-silly questions.

Second thread already! First is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/2642653-Due-in-February-2017?

Hey hun, im not too bad but sickyness is still here, not as bad thanks to the tablets. I find it worse if i leave myself to get starving or if i eat too much. Was out for a meal on saturday had 3 courses and felt horrible lol xx

Hazandduck · 20/06/2016 11:46

Kells92 Oh my god I'm glad it's not just me, I woke up from an afternoon nap yesterday ravenous and had to have Pizza Hut delivered immediately or I would feel so sick lol, it came and I ate half a pizza so fast I felt ridiculously sick afterwards it was horrible! It is true you have to just nibble continuously don't you to keep your little bean happy! Hope you feel better soon, how far along are you? xx

Blueskies80 · 20/06/2016 12:00

So sorry for you Jodie, look after yourself Flowers
I've been there myself before, and it sucks. Hope you recover quickly xx

8plus 2 today. Feeling pretty shocking. Nausea and nothing tastes right, feels right, or smells right. Tired too. urgh xxx

FlyingSpaghettiM0nster · 20/06/2016 12:12

Just started bleeding Sad going to go the hospital straight after work. I really hope I'm not losing this one too Sad

Hazandduck · 20/06/2016 12:16

Flyingspaghettim0nster I am so sorry to hear you are suffering, can you get to hospital now? Just remember bleeding is normal. People I know had routine periods still for months before knowing they were pregnant. Take care of yourself and I am sorry for your previous loss :( xx

Hazandduck · 20/06/2016 12:18

I must have missed Jodie's post, I am sorry for what you have been through :( XX

Hazandduck · 20/06/2016 12:20

Blueskies80 oh how awful! Those hormones must be raging! Hope you feel better soon. I've read that symptoms are at their worst between weeks 7-9 so maybe your symptoms are peaking now and you will start to feel better soon?! xx

Fx for your bean flying

My hair is disgustingly greasy. Skin isn't too bad. Last pg I had awful skin but I was nibbling biscuits all day. This time I can't eat biscuits.

I'm really not drinking enough. I've started drinking out of a small glass, which is less intimidating than my usual pint glass, in an effort to get more in.

gumbootsandjandals · 20/06/2016 12:36

Arggghhhh, the interweb ate my post.

Fx for your bean flying

My hair is also super greasy. Skin is ok. Last pg it was awful, but I was nibbling biscuits all day long. Now I can't even face biscuits.

PhoebeGeebee · 20/06/2016 12:37

fenella the community mw finally returned my (three) calls on Saturday so I'm booked in for this Wednesday when I'll be 9 weeks. Hoping my scan doesn't take ages to come through.

I'm feeling fine again after my shocking day on Saturday. I worked out what was wrong - I had a hangover. A really really bad hangover from one glass of 0.05% alcohol free wine. This does not look good for my 'occasional' glass throughout pregnancy! Has anyone else had alcohol (albeit in the tiniest of quantities) affect them like this??

(Disclaimer - I wouldn't have drank it normally but we were visiting friends and they went out of their way to make sure I was accommodated for and I'd have felt bad saying no!)

gumbootsandjandals · 20/06/2016 12:37

Arghhhh stupid interweb...

FriendlyGhost · 20/06/2016 12:41

The interweb ate my post too! I'm 5+6 today and feeling sicker as the day goes on. Just about survived dd's swimming lesson but exhausted now. Finally phoned the dr this morning and have an appointment for this afternoon so it's starting to feel real.
Hope you're ok flying. It's scary but some bleeding does seem to be quite normal. Hope that's the case for you.

Kellz92 · 20/06/2016 12:48

Scarydinosaurs · 20/06/2016 13:00

I woke up craving curry this morning. At 5am. I am surviving on almond butter and seedy toast.

6+1 and can't wait to be over this sea sick bit.

Does anyone have any strong feelings about what sex the baby is? I have a funny overwhelming feeling that this will be a boy. I am basing this on nothing but gut feeling 😂

Ginger06 · 20/06/2016 13:02

Hello everyone
I am 7+5 and started experiencing shortness of breath anyone has experienced that ? It is my first pregnancy and god how difficult it is was trying to cope with the morning sickness now it is even worse

Ginger06 · 20/06/2016 13:04

flyingspaghettim0nster hope all is well is it heavy bleeding ? Are you having cramps ? You are in my prayer

Scarydinosaurs · 20/06/2016 13:06

ginger I have shortness of breath, but I think it's down to my anaemia. Do you think you could be anaemic?

Scarydinosaurs · 20/06/2016 13:07

Thinking of you flying Flowers

Ginger06 · 20/06/2016 13:10

Scarydinosaurs I don't think so but maybe I should check with my doctor. I have mild asthma though

Scarydinosaurs · 20/06/2016 13:12

ginger definitely check- could be that.

Hazandduck · 20/06/2016 13:15

Ginger and Scarydinosaurs I too have noticed I am really short of breath, our office is three flights up which I normally breeze but the last couple of weeks I have been panting like a dog when I stumble in to the office lol. Kind of hard to explain, I didn't know if it is just because I have given up running since I found out about baby just to be on the safe side, and my fitness had already deteriorated that rapidly, or this was a normal preggo symptom! X

Dreamingoutloud7 · 20/06/2016 13:20

Fx for you flying hopefully it's nothing, just one of those random things.

My hair is normal so far but I'm only 4+4 so it's still early days, literally cannot get enough of carbs though, having my third cheese toastie of the week!

Blueskies80 · 20/06/2016 13:25

Oh flying hope all is ok xx I had massive bleeds with no 1 and she was fine xx fingers crossed xx
Thanks for sympathy hazel, hormones ugh xx
Am Out of breath too, am borderline anaemic most of the time (blood condition) X

Kellz92 · 20/06/2016 13:38

scary i have been craving curry since Friday, had one Saturday and it wasnt the kind of curry i was looking for so didnt satisfy the craving aahhhh!! i think we are having another girl, as much as id like a boy. i felt like this with DD

Ginger im suffering with shortness of breath too! i dunno if im anaemic, but the only thing i did differently when i got my bfp was take multivits with iron, will speak to mw when i see her next week

xx

Scarydinosaurs · 20/06/2016 13:42

haz it could be because of being super tired? your body is doubling the size of the baby every day! That's a lot of work!
