Looks like I am the first one due 1st Feb but I tested very early as I felt weird and pregnant!

This is baby no 3 I have two DDs who are 2 and 3.

twocats, I've told a couple of my weird internet friends who are now close real life friends I see all the time- we have a group chat and talk daily, plus one of them is 10 days ahead of me in her own second pregnancy!!

Last time I told my sister and the same friends immediately, but this time I think I'll wait before telling family. My siblings and I have a shared iCloud photo album for all our kids and my SIL announced her new pregnancy just a month ago by adding a photo of an 8-week scan, so I will do the same (all going well).

Ginger06 · 27/05/2016 14:49

I am going to tell my two close friends and my family after I break the news to my husband this is my first pregnancy so I'm very excited and it will be very difficult to hold such a good news from the people I love Smile

Hello everyone! I got my BFP today, EDD 4th February 2017. Very excited.

This will be baby number 2 for us - DD is nearly 16 months (also born on 4th February - what are the chances???!). I know this is very premature but I'm starting to panic about shared birthdays and being in hospital on her birthday! Still, at least they will be able to have joint parties when older 😁😁😁 xx

Ginger06 · 27/05/2016 17:15

lawyerdoute82 congratulation on your 2nd baby. It will be very nice if you give birth on the 4th but don't know those due dates if they are accurate or no it's my first pregnancy and I'm due on the 1st :)

MissClarke86 · 27/05/2016 18:21

Hello again lawyered, and congratulations again!!

I've just had a few tears on OH. I had a MC with my first pregnancy and am finding it hard to stay positive or let myself be excited about this one incase it doesn't happen.

Have tested over 3 days and my line isn't getting any darker and have now convinced myself it's going to be a chemical pregnancy...I'm just a natural worrier! I'm also cross that MC the first time round has taken my excitement away.

wispaxmas · 27/05/2016 18:34

McBaby, I got my appts through today, too!! So different to last time when it took them about 5 weeks before I got them and the appts were really short notice. MY booking in isn't until 28 June and scan 22 of July. Seems AGES away.

sleepylil · 27/05/2016 19:20

Only me, DP & one of my best friends know but that's it until the scan for now. No particular reason as would tell family if anything went wrong. It's just what we did last time so doing the same again.

PhoebeGeebee · 27/05/2016 20:07

MissClarke - sorry to hear you're feeling down. I don't know much about tests (as seen from my earlier posts!) but would the line be getting any darker? The good news is that, according to a test, you are definitely pregnant. Isn't it very very early results that can be chemical? And you've been testing for the past week so I'm pretty sure it's the real thing by now (someone with more experience might be able to come along and expose my ignorance or give you more reassurance!).

I won't tell you to relax or not worry, because I know that won't be possible right now, but know we're all here for any moments of reassurance you might need.

Blueskies80 · 27/05/2016 21:04

Missclarke, sorry to hear your anxious about it, it is totally normal to be like that after a MC, I am the same, in fact am not really expecting this to last truth be told. It is hard but I am taking one day at a time. I think I remember reading that even after a Mc the odds are better for a successful pregnancy than another MC so hopefully all will be ok.
My test has taken 5 days to get a bit darker, although I did test first thing this time which helps.

MissClarke86 · 27/05/2016 21:16

Thank you ladies :) it's nice just not to feel alone!

McBaby · 28/05/2016 08:09

Wispa - mine are 20th June and 15th July although I did have to change both of them which brought them forward a couple of weeks due to holiday and so dh can make the scan.

Wow you got your appointments through quickly! I haven't even rang my GP yet as I want to see a test get darker and trust its for real first Blush

wispaxmas · 28/05/2016 08:43

Missclarke, I didn't even ring my GP, I just googled self referral to see if I even had to ring the GP, I wasn't planning to do anything just yet, but there was a dead simple form to fill out on my hospital's website, and the letter arrived the next day!!

Readytosettle · 28/05/2016 09:39

Just googled self referral for my local hospital & apparently I can once I hit 6 weeks....I'm only 4+4 so it's a little wait even for that!

McBaby · 28/05/2016 10:36

I self referred but wanted to get appointments sorted as we are on holiday for the next six weeks bat a few days so could only have them on specific days. I must remember to tell my gp one day!

I've just noticed the strangest pregnancy symptom yet: according to my Fitbit my resting heart rate has shot up from 58 to 74 in the last 10 days!

Readytosettle · 28/05/2016 16:57

Mines gone from 74 to 79 wispa...Not as a big a jump but it's a definite increase.

Blueskies80 · 28/05/2016 22:09

I definitely feel my heart rate is faster, also getting breathless a lot, and feel boiling (that's the progesterone!)
I am going to hold off calling anyone health service related until I get passed 6/7 weeks

wispaxmas · 29/05/2016 08:27

Omg, this is actually insane!! I was at work yesterday, and while I walked to and from the train station, i didn't do any exercise and I'm mainly sitting whilst at work - EIGHT HOURS in the fat burn HR zone?!?!

Sorry, I'll stop with the Fitbit chat, it's just not something I had last time I was pregnant and I had no idea our hearts had to work so much harder even from the moment we conceive.

Guys - I've just been to the loo and had a tiny bit of red blood. I'm spinning out. What do I do? What can I do on a Sunday? Do I call 111?????

Readytosettle · 29/05/2016 10:33

Try not to worry, if it gets heavier you could try contacting the EPU at your local hospital to see if they can help.
