So while the bleeding seems to have stopped, I now have sore throat, cold and fevery - worried this will harm the baby...this is going to be a long 9 months !

Evergreen17 · 12/06/2016 19:43

Congratulations soap!
shadz how far along are you? Is this your first appointment?
Wispa thanks
I probably shouldnt lie down then as it makes it worse but I am so comfy!
Sleepy that is almost my EDD Smilecongratulations!

Evergreen17 · 12/06/2016 19:44

Oh no Jodie! Yes, this is going to be 9 months of constant worry! And not sure it will be easier when they finally arrive!

shadz · 12/06/2016 20:06

Evergreen17 · 12/06/2016 20:36

Sienna9522 · 12/06/2016 20:46

I feel restless but exhausted and sickly and all in all a bit strange! Confused Hmm

LaceyLee · 12/06/2016 21:43

Welcome soap and that's rubbish for you jodie but it won't harm the baby. Nausea is really kicking in here, had it since about 4pm. I'm heading towards 6 weeks so I guess that makes sense. also really tired and heading to bed!!

GinandJazzHands · 12/06/2016 21:49

Hi ans congrats soap and sleepy! Dutch fingers crossed for you lovely. jodie sounds awful for you but sure baby will be fine. Addicted to Luther on Netflix at the mo, one more episode then bed for me; feeling bloated, gassy, thirsty and very mildly crampy/niggles so blithely hoping that's all a good sign!

FriendlyGhost · 13/06/2016 08:28

Welcome soap and sleepy and congrats on the bfps!
Probably a silly question but I've just driven myself mad googling and can't find an answer. Is anyone else breastfeeding and if so are your boobs sore? The thing I really remember from early on last time was massive boobs. Mine are still a lot bigger than normal but don't feel sore or swollen and haven't increased in size. I'm sure they were sore this time last week so I'm getting paranoid. I'm hoping it's just because they're used to being bigger for now.

wispaxmas · 13/06/2016 08:37

Friendly, try not to worry (easier said than done!), 'every pregnancy is different' and all that. If it makes you feel any better both last pregnancy and this time around my boobs haven't changed at all! Not any bigger, not sore in the slightest, and last time it obviously stuck, as the 2-year old currently watching paw patrol can attest to.

FriendlyGhost · 13/06/2016 08:41

Thanks Wispa. I'm a worrier and still so early on so panicking at every little symptom or lack of symptom!

SpinALittleFaster · 13/06/2016 08:48

Friendly I've had the odd twinge but otherwise they're feeling normal. I'm not sure if it would be different if I was going hours between feeds though. DD has been ill and feeding every couple of hours.

FriendlyGhost · 13/06/2016 08:54

That's good to know, thanks Spin. I hope your dd feels better soon.

Kellz92 · 13/06/2016 09:44

congrats to the new BFPs

Im so tired today, and hungry despite feeling slightly nauseous. probably feel like that because im hungry. Had no more spotting since Saturday so im guessing all is fine. just over 2 weeks until my nooking in appointment already, it feels like its dragging, but when i look back its actually flying in!! xx

MarjorySunshineDust · 13/06/2016 10:09

friendlyghost I'm breastfeeding, my boobs were a bit tender for a few days but more or less back to normal now. Not noticed them getting bigger but figured they are already full of milk this time! Nipples are a little sore sometimes when dd feeds.

Been having twinges on and off all yesterday and this morning. Slightly left and lower than belly button. Starting to think it's actually trapped wind Blush

Kellz92 · 13/06/2016 11:22

Marjory i am suffering with trapped wind xx

Lucy1308 · 13/06/2016 12:15

Good morning ladies :) I'm currently suffering from what feels like my usual period pains- dull lower back and abdo pain and some slight stretching feelings. A bit like if you had sore muscles and started stretching them out. Anyone else had this? Also slight vague nausea (not enough to stop me eating mind!!) and just very tired. Hoping these are all good signs!!

FriendlyGhost · 13/06/2016 13:27

Thanks for the reassurance! Funnily enough dd grabbed a nipple earlier when we were changing for swimming and it really hurt so maybe things are more sensitive after all. I hope she doesn't make a habit out of it because she found my reaction hilarious!
Lucy I haven't had any stretching feelings yet but I remember them from last time. A good sign I think. I'm also suffering from trapped wind and constipation. Oh the glamour!

Kellz92 · 13/06/2016 13:50

Lucy i have had these tightening feelings etc!!

Friendly my boobs arent sore but have sensitive nipples, i didnt have sore boobs at all with DD.

Came out of the shower last night and DH was like 'your nipples are massive now' lol!!

xx

Lucy1308 · 13/06/2016 14:17

My nipples are also ridiculously sore. And now my boobs have started to feel bruised. Definitely looking into softer/larger bras- I think I need to give up my usual "push up" ones as I'm now falling out and it really hurts my nipples!! OH hasn't commented on my nipples, but I have noticed that they now go hard at the drop of a hat haha!!

Kellz92 · 13/06/2016 15:40

ive had to start wearing crop top style bras, just for comfort, my boobs arent any bigger..just like last time :-( boo lol xx

weloveearlysleeptime · 13/06/2016 16:03

Hello all! got my BFP last Friday but have been in shock and was waiting to get to Superdrug to get another test. Line is most definitely there and much darker. my EDD is 23 Feb. I previously had DD overseas and am thus not really clued in on how to get the ball rolling here. I know I can go to my GP but the next available appoint is in 2 weeks! I'm in the east and had a poke around the Royal London website and it said that there was a self-referral form but it didnt provide the link or where to send in this form. help!!

Ubercorn · 13/06/2016 16:08

Can I join? Got a surprise BFP today, will be pregnancy number six/DC number four. All that experience and you'd think I would have learned not to do this by accident Blush Blush Blush

Still a little bit shock but keep smiling, it'll all work out in the end :)

Blueskies80 · 13/06/2016 17:07

Welcome to all the new BFPs! Congratulations!
welove, can you call the maternity department at the Royal London? I did the same at my hospital, Kings (SE London) and they took all the details and got me into the system. Good luck.

Evergreen17 · 13/06/2016 18:07

Lacey I am not looking forward to this nausea you are talking about! Life is sweet at 4+ apart from the constant worry!
My boobs are the same size Hmm
Welove I called my GP last thursday and they said they wont see me until the 24th, they didnt want to see me earlier. I think it is because of the high odds of chemical/mc very early on
So waiting Blush
Uber congrats! Smile
