I am working on my colouring book to distract myself from the worries Confused
I thought that when I got that BFP I would be so excited and happy
I am dead worried instead. Sad

Sienna9522 · 12/06/2016 15:16

HighSparrow - I have backache and have had shooting pains in my legs. Was wondering if it was normal. Also had quite a bit of trapped wind.

Sienna9522 · 12/06/2016 15:26

Evergreen I'm the same as you, thought I'd be so excited after a BFP but I'm constantly anxious and wishing the days away Sad

Does anyone have a link for the miscarriage statistics?

Wispa, I have an early scan on the 6th July and my EDD is 21st Feb

I had a bit of a scare in the night with pain & bleeding - went to a&e at 5am and they took some bloods/urine which were all fine. They then referred to me to my local early pregnancy unit who did an internal exam and told me I have 'cervical ectropion' apparently it's quite common in pregnancy and for people who have took the combined pill (changes in eoestrogen levels) and it can sometimes cause pain & bleeding. They've booked me in for an early ultrasound on Tuesday to double check everything's ok so hoping to see a heartbeat as I'll be around 7+5 then.
I was also nil by mouth until 1pm and had my first feeling of morning sickness & nearly passed out when they put a cannula in my arm!! Sad

Evergreen17 · 12/06/2016 15:41

Sienna I wish I could go to sleep and wake up on week 13 Sad
I dont have a link, I googled something like miscarriage count down or day by day or something like that?
Hopes that sounds awful, but glad to hear they sorted you out. Best of luck with the scan. I think sometimes they dont see much on an early scan but that is still ok

Evergreen17 · 12/06/2016 15:55

Found a link
spacefem.com/pregnant/mc.php?m=08&d=10&y=12

Kellz92 · 12/06/2016 16:38

How is everyone. I'm 6 weeks today. I have trapped wind and I'm bloated. Had a tiny bit of brown stringy cm last night it's not happened again so guess it's fine. I'm so tired! X

Sienna9522 · 12/06/2016 16:42

Evergreen, me too! And thanks for the link.

Highhopes, that sounds awful glad you're okay now though.

Wispa, thank you for the list. It's fab.

Blueskies80 · 12/06/2016 16:52

Anyone else feeling faint? Had a bit of a rubbish nights sleep last night thanks to my 3 yr old and this morning I felt so ill, weak and faint when out. Had to just sit down the whole time and sip water.
Came home and slept for two hours and feel better but obviously can't be doing that every day.
I feel like I have a really bad hangover... Starting to worry a bit how I will cope looking after the kids next week and for the next five weeks until I get to 12 weeks and hopefully things improve..

CinderellaFant · 12/06/2016 17:03

Another emotional hormonal wreck here- also baby brain is kicking in already!! I moved house mid April. Today I went out to the cinema with the kids, then came home- to my old house! Pulling into the estate and the DC were like 'eh are we going to our old house again?' BlushConfused

CinderellaFant · 12/06/2016 17:05

Flyingspaghettimonstet- I thought my doctor would hate me too as we were advised to have 1 or 2 cycles in between and didn't, I was pregnant the next month with no period in between. Doctor was lovely, didn't even mention that she told me to wait! They've just used the date of miscarriage as date of LMP for me

FriendlyGhost · 12/06/2016 17:10

Glad all is ok highhopes. Hope the scan goes well.
Blueskies I'm also feeling faint on and off. It's worse when I'm tired and hungry. I'm making sure I'm hydrated and trying to eat little and often.
Had a look at that link and my risk is still at 20% at 4+5. It's interesting how quickly it decreases though. I think I'll feel calmer once I get past the six week mark. I'm also trying to tell myself that these figures presumably include women with medical and lifestyle factors that put them at an increased risk.

twocatsandatoddler · 12/06/2016 17:14

I'm feeling awful this afternoon, like a really bad hangover. I was helping with the 3-5 year olds at my church this morning, and then at a Queen's birthday celebration this afternoon, and my brother is in a band and has a gig this evening so I'm on my way into London for that and not sure how I'm going to get through it as I'm exhausted and just want to be in bed! Not to mention that I look about 5 months pregnant and everyone is going to notice me not drinking and put two and two together! I wasn't planning on telling anyone tonight but I may have to. It's just my brothers and a couple of my close friends though so not the end of the world if they guess.

Thanks for the updated list wispa, great job!

Evergreen17 · 12/06/2016 17:29

Cinderella that is hilarious GrinGrinGrin
Friendly that is what I am telling myself Grin mmmhhh Hmm ok this will include some healthy women of course, as some of my friends had Mc in the past... But maybe the rest are women with lots of medical problems and over 60 years of age blah blah Hmm

Is heart burn a symptom?

GinandJazzHands · 12/06/2016 17:30

Hopes sounds like such a stressful time! Glad you are getting a good level of care and fx all is great on Tuesday Flowers
wispa epic list thanks for that!

GinandJazzHands · 12/06/2016 17:33

twocats can you cry off sick this eve? Sounds like you could do with the rest! I take my hat off to all of you lovely ladies doing this with kids already, can't imagine the exhaustion!

SoapSudBub · 12/06/2016 17:42

Hi Ladies! Just had a BFP this morning! It's a little unexpected, DS is 10months old so there will be an 18 month age gap 😱!

shadz · 12/06/2016 17:43

Had my blood tests today very serious talk about all the conditions such as Down's syndrome etc ConfusedFeeling very tired since, I have slept most of the afternoon away... Sickness still an issue vomited three times outside hospital can't wait for appointment on Wednesday with midwife all very scary and exciting at the same time!!! Grin

FlyingSpaghettiM0nster · 12/06/2016 17:51

Congratulations Soap! 18 month gap sounds not too bad! I got my BFP yesterday, I had a MMC last month (yes I'm naughty for not being careful enough) and this will be my first child Smile

wispaxmas · 12/06/2016 18:17

Glad everything seems to be ok, highhopes, sounds really frightening. I've not heard of cervical ectropion before, will it cause any complications later on?

Blueskies, I'm feeling faint, too, but I have a history of fainting- not often, but enough for me to be wary. Last time was last August at my first big girls night out post-baby (she was 14 months already, though) and I fainted dead away whilst sat at the table and ended up being carted away by ambulance. I was SO annoyed, because I missed the night out (we had only just ordered and had a sip of wine) for nothing as I was totally fine, if a little concussed Grin

Evergreen, heart burn is definitely a symptom- in early pregnancy it's cause by relaxin making everything loose, which allows the stomach acid to rise up. I've had it, too!

Welcome to the new arrivals- I noticed I hadn't said hello to a couple when I did the list! Soap, I won't update the list yet, will wait a few days so the update will be bigger.

I'm VERY tired still. Went to a friend's 30th birthday lunch today and it was booked at a sushi restaurant. I normally LOVE sushi, and I know it's fine really, so long as you don't overdo it on the Mercury, but one bite of tuna and I felt like I was going to be sick Sad. I had to cry off early as everything there was making me ill and ended up in m&s cafe down the road scoffing a toastie!!

wispaxmas · 12/06/2016 18:19

Oh, and if there's anyone else who ever wants to update the list, please do!!

HighHopes16 · 12/06/2016 18:42

Thanks everyone. I'm still not feeling 100% but will catch up on sleep tonight and will let you know how my scan goes on Tuesday.
wispa - The cervical ectropion or erosion is simply a patch of cells that is easily irritated. Apparently it's nothing to worry about and quite common so I'll just have to try not to panic when I see blood! easier said than done!

Dutchy88 · 12/06/2016 19:13

Thanks everyone. No bleeding today so I'm going to try and be positive and wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to test again and then Thursday I should be 6 weeks by my dates so I'll see about getting an early scan

sleepyMe12 · 12/06/2016 19:39

Hi ladies, got my BFP today I'm still in shock.
Will be DC 3 DC2 is only 8months so pretty similar to you soap
