Line gets darker #bigrelief

HighHopes16 · 11/06/2016 13:25

Thanks Phoebe I don't have any pain so that's a relief. Smile

Lucy1308 · 11/06/2016 13:50

Afternoon ladies :) congrats on all the new BFPs!! I had some seriously impressive creamy CM early this week but nothing much now. Think the heat didn't help. Today I am absolutely knackered and my nipples feel like someone has stuck them in a vice. And for some weird reason I only have to think about them and they go hard- not usual for me by any stretch!! Other than that I feel fine. Probably wouldn't feel and different if it wasn't for the nipples!!

GinandJazzHands · 11/06/2016 14:03

Ooh loving those lines evergreen I'm doing the same thing so all being well will report back in a couple of days! Thinking of you highhopes, this is such a nerve-wracking time but I'm sure there is nothing to worry about if no pain and not heavy. Hi Lucy I'm not getting anything out of the ordinary today but went for a light jog earlier in a sports bra and my boobs were really tender at first. Analysing every niggle hoping it's all a good sign!

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 14:08

Highhopes dont worry I have had the brown spotting for three days
First light then darker brown. Specially after exercise
I was reassured by lots of people it is ok and so far nothing bad has happened
I think it is old blood your body is getting rid of

GinandJazzHands · 11/06/2016 14:09

Welcome sunshine and congrats!! I'm counting two weeks back from OV as my cycles are long and irregular but I'm confident of my OV date from temping and OPKs. So I know I'm only 3+4 whereas by 28 day cycle standards I'd incorrectly be counted as 5+4. Are your cycles regular or do you know when you OV'd?

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 14:30

Ginand I am just counting from last period, so only 4+3
I am confident I ovulated on the 27th of May so I guess counting from then I would be only 2 weeks today
Scary! Sad

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 14:30

Congrats sunshine! SmileSmile

SBSparkles · 11/06/2016 14:49

Hey'all 6 weeks today! Woo! Had a sharp pain on left side last night which really scared me (almost went to a+e) but thankfully it's stopped today. Doc said small possibility of periodic but I'm not presenting any other symptoms and I'd be in more pain than this! So not trying not to worry about that! Symptoms today phoebe totally know what you mean I've had loads of leaky feelings but I am on progesterone pessaries! I don't think the hot weather was helping! I'm mega sleepy again today and bound are starting to feel bigger! I feel a bit like Jordan today!! Slight nausea today which went when I ate something, not feeling really sick just unsettled. And lots of trapped wind! The joys!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend and congrats to the newbies! 5 days till my viability scan!!! Confused

SBSparkles · 11/06/2016 14:50

Periodic was ectopic but spell check changed it!!

FriendlyGhost · 11/06/2016 14:50

Welcome aboard SunshineSmile
I just did my digital test. I was saving it until I was definitely late. I'm 4+4 now and it says 2-3 weeks so my hormones are definitely rising. I didn't test until this stage with my dd and only got 1-2 weeks so I'm wondering if I ovulated earlier than I thought. I usually have a 31 day cycle so assumed I'd ovulated around day 16/17. Happy that it's been confirmed by a digital though.

SBSparkles · 11/06/2016 14:51

Boobs not bound!! Hmm

GinandJazzHands · 11/06/2016 14:55

Hey evergreen, a 27th May OV would make you 4+1 (the clock starts two weeks before conception) so not too far off your date working it from your actual period. That doesn't work for me because I ovulate so late and have long cycles. The digital pg tests confuse things a bit as I think they tell you estimated time since conception. Sorry if I have confused anyone! I usually confuse myself easily enough Confused

GinandJazzHands · 11/06/2016 14:59

Nice pic friendly and happy six weeks sparkles! Hope the pain was just a one off. Personally looking forward to the bigger boobs bit - just not so sure about the bigger everything else lol!

HighSparrow · 11/06/2016 15:45

That's good ghost! I'm 4+1 so I'm tempted to do another digi in the morning!

Happy 6 weeks sparkles!

Yay to strong lines evergreen!

What books and apps have people got? I've got no pregnancy books but a few apps - ovia and the nhs one. They're OK.

ScottishSnowflake · 11/06/2016 15:56

Hi HighSparrow, I've got the pregnancy + app. It's free during the first trimester and so thought I'd trial it before buying the full version. It's nice seeing an image of what baby likely looks like at this stage, as well as a size guide (my baby is currently the size of a sesame seed - so tiny!!).

Hello and welcome to all the new joiners!

Friendly, lovely pic Smile

wispaxmas · 11/06/2016 16:04

Welcome Evergreen!!

Another hearty recommendation for Expecting Better from me, it's SUCH a helpful book!

Highhopes, I had spotting for 2 days last week and went to EPU and all was fine. If you're worried I would definitely see if you can get a referral. They did tell me that any instance of spotting or bleeding and I should tell someone, so I'm just passing the advice on, even though it's most likely nothing. I had pain as well, but that's down to having an ovarian cyst (as they discovered at my EPU scan!). I hope it stops, though.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. My DD's birthday party was manic with lots of toddlers and a couple older children, and my puppy is home and I've attached a photo for an update. She looks so funny with a shaved leg!! FX for a hiccup-free recovery, eek. I'm glad I have these things to distract me from the first trimester anxiety, though, as whenever everything around me slows down and I have time to think I start worrying again Confused

Lalalala2015 · 11/06/2016 16:10

Congrats to all the new bfps Flowers

6+ today, woke up with back and belly pain this morning but it soon eased off. Been feeling absolutely rubbish all day. Also been a right moody cow!

Bless her wispa Smile

Lalalala2015 · 11/06/2016 16:10

That's 6+1!

HighHopes16 · 11/06/2016 16:41

Thanks wispa the spotting has gone now but I'll definitely seek advice if it happens again.
Is anyone feeling really emotional at the moment? Even Tiny little things are setting me off !

MarjorySunshineDust · 11/06/2016 16:48

Aw look at her wispa!

I love the Expecting Better book as well, and the pregnancy+ app seems good so far.

Yes highhopes anything is setting me off at the moment and yesterday DH made me laugh which then turned into sobbing Blush

HighSparrow · 11/06/2016 17:05

Ok I just bought 2 books and neither were Expecting better oops! Blush

I couldn't help myself and just did a digi, and I've got 2-3 weeks... My smile right now--> Grin

HighSparrow · 11/06/2016 17:05

wispa ahhh poor pooch, lots of cuddles from me.

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 18:04

Ahhh Gin I thought they calculated from day of last period Blush
My luteal phase is always 12 days max though, my cycles short.
Does that make a difference?
Ovia said 4+3
I ovulated late this cycle (CD17)
Confused Confused

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 18:07

I havent asked anyone about the brown spotting Confused
I read in lots of places and here that it is nothing to worry about
Wispa do you think I have to call the EPU too?
Oh my, the next 9months are going to be constant anxiety
My boobs feel like if they were full of broken glass
