Ginger06 · 09/06/2016 12:23

Shadz I was feeling the same last few days my husband made me some lemongrass tea and ginger and it helped me a lot

shadz · 09/06/2016 13:06

Thank you Ginger I will try that and see thank you Smile

HighHopes16 · 09/06/2016 13:17

Get well soon shadz & Ginger ! I'm thankful that the sickness hasn't hit me yet.

Is anyone getting their OH's dad to be cards for fathers day? I've found one on Ebay that says 'your swimmers were winners' Grin

SkyLucy · 09/06/2016 13:30

Loving all the pet chat! I would bloody love a dog but DH and I both work full-time. I admit I have been thinking that if my little poppy seed embryo sticks it out I could perhaps get a pup too, when the time comes! (Because I'll have surplus time and energy, right?!) In the meantime I have guinea pigs whom I adore (yes, I'm a grown adult...) Hope all is very well with little wispa, wispa!

Sienna9522 · 09/06/2016 13:45

Hi,

Can I join? Got my BFP yesterday and the Internet tells me I'm due on Feb 21st. I'm trying not to get too excited just yet, as I haven't officially missed AF but Fx for a healthy pregnancy.

Ginger06 · 09/06/2016 13:51

FriendlyGhost · 09/06/2016 14:00

Welcome Sienna.
I'm definitely going to try the lemongrass tea and ginger idea when the nausea fully kicks in. Last time I lived on peppermint tea but I haven't been able to face it since!

Kellz92 · 09/06/2016 14:18

Welcome Sienna x

SBSparkles · 09/06/2016 14:24

Just wondering....does anyone have a full feeling in their uterus? I did at first but it's gone now. I also did have Ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome after my ivf which has now gone. I feel totally normal 'down there'. Sorry for all the questions! It's my first time and it took us 2 years to get here!!! Grin

wispaxmas · 09/06/2016 14:44

Sbs, I wouldn't worry about feeling normal down below, surely that's the norm? I'm sure it's just your OHSS having cleared up (which, btw, thank goodness for, I've heard that can be a bitch!).

wispaxmas · 09/06/2016 14:45

Welcome Sienna, congratulations!

SBSparkles · 09/06/2016 15:00

Thanks wispa yeah it actually be really serious! I just drank loads of water and lucozade sport and it went thank goodness! My nurse said to me 'as the feeling of the OHSS goes down the pregnancy will take over so you'll always have that full feeling'. But it's gone completely. Ah well I have to try to stop worrying so much and let it just be! X

jodiebee664 · 09/06/2016 16:43

Hi all,
Not been on in a few days so just catching up!
Got the cramps big time today and a bit of a dodgy tummy (sorry tmi!)
I'll be 9+1 the day after we get back from Lisbon (8th July) for DH bday so am going to try and plan a scan for then - will pay private if I have to as just want the reassurance - waiting till then will be hard enough!
Hope you're all good and the nausea easing for those who have it!
X

Blueskies80 · 09/06/2016 16:46

Ugh feeling terrible this afternoon. It's really hot and I'm tired and just want to be sick! But probably a good thing?
Good luck for all who are having early scans.
Midwife told me I'm able to get one, given mc history but I can self refer. Given my spotting has stopped I am going to maybe go next week if I can face it.

Welcome sienna xx

jodiebee664 · 09/06/2016 17:06

hi blue skies,
Can I ask what your bleeding was like? Literally just after posting my last message I went to the loo and there was red blood when I wiped. I feel devastated but am trying to be positive and hope it's normal. I can epu but as I'm just 5+2 there's nothing they can do, just said keep and eye on it and test again in a couple of weeks if it gets heavier.
:(
X

Blueskies80 · 09/06/2016 17:43

Hi Jodie,
Sorry to hear this, I had pink, brown and red spotting. Usually on Tissue paper after going to the loo. Had it at 5weeks 3/4 days and again at 6weeks. Light and stopped after a few hours.
I had big bleeds too with my first pregnancy. Sudden gushing that slowed and stopped.
I've also had two miscarriages and the main differences between those and this bleeding was that there was pain too with the MC and the bleeding got progressively worse and didn't slow and stop.
I would say see how you go and maybe get a scan. At six weeks they can see something, that said I have had scans at 4/5 weeks before when I bled with no 1.
Fingers crossed its just the embryo attaching to the uterus or even the starting to placenta grow.
Good luck xxxx

wispaxmas · 09/06/2016 17:48

Jodie, i had similar spotting (pink and red) on Monday/Tuesday and went to the EPU for a scan on Wednesday when I was exactly 6 weeks and all was fine. I think they won't scan until 6 weeks, but could be worth letting your GP know? They might bring you in for a GP appt in a few days and refer you to EPU once you're 6 weeks?

wispaxmas · 09/06/2016 17:50

In other news, I am so. so. so. SO! Tired ConfusedBrewBrewBrewBrewBrewBrew

jodiebee664 · 09/06/2016 17:57

Thanks both, that's reassuring.
Its bright red and I have had some cramping but have had that throughout so hope that's not related. Just need to try and be patient and not stress! I have had an mc before so that's not helping, feel so hopeful about this one, hope it sticks! X

FriendlyGhost · 09/06/2016 18:17

I hope all's well jodie. It's totally normal to have some bleeding so I hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about.
I'm only 4+2 and I feel really sick and tired. I can't believe it's got me this early and I know it's only going to get worse. I think I had erased this from my brain after last time. I'm starting to wonder what other pregnancy delights my body is going to spring on me that I had conveniently forgotten!

SBSparkles · 09/06/2016 18:43

Jodie I know it's really scary but it is very common to bleed in early pregnancy. Hope it stops soon though!
Wispa oh my god me too. I've got to teach 30 5 year olds all day tomorrow and I don't know how I'm going to get through it!! Shock

wispaxmas · 09/06/2016 18:49

Jodie, I have cramping, too, but it turns out I have an ovarian cyst that's likely the cause. Never would've known without going to EPU, so it really is worth getting but in to see them.

jodiebee664 · 09/06/2016 19:14

Thanks girls, so good to get reassurance.

Wispa I called them earlier but they just said wait (told them I was 5 weeks) and do a test in 2 weeks. I think I might call them next week if still happening and say I'm over 6 weeks - that's when they'll see you isn't it?
