Marjory my dd is 18 months. I'm also planning to get her into a pre school or nursery for a few hours a week in January. I remember the lovely relaxed snuggles we used to have when she was tiny and I'd like the next one to have a bit of that too rather than just being dragged around after its big sister!
Excellent news wispa. I really want to book a reassurance scan for around 7/8 weeks but they're really expensive around here and I doubt I'll get DH to agree!
Sorry you're feeling so rough kelz. I got crippling nausea last time and I'm starting to feel a bit sick and dizzy so it's looking like this time will be the same. It's so horrible!

CazM2012 · 08/06/2016 19:25

Kellz92 - where about are you? Just because it's the same price for our local private scan and wondered if you are nearby haha

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 08/06/2016 21:49

Oh, I'm so pleased others are doing the boob grabbing too! :)

I've started googling when the sickness will usually kick in as I'm desperate for some more symptoms. Why on earth am I wishing nausea & sickness???? I wouldn't care, but I was pretty sick with DS up until about 14 weeks - they were a rough few weeks!

I've had the odd wave of queasiness and am beginning a bit tired mid afternoon, but I have to keep reminding myself that I'm only 4+4 - that's what you get for testing early!

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 08/06/2016 21:51

Oh, and I've got an appointment with my GP tomorrow to see if they'll refer me for an early scan after have 3 MCs previously! If not, I'm willing to part with money just for a little bit of reassurance.

gumbootsandjandals · 08/06/2016 22:03

My nausea really kicked in at week 8 with dc1 but I remember feeling really ghastly in week 6 with dc2, so much so that I had to tell my boss that week. I am 6+2 and feeling a bit nauseous but not as bad as last time. With dc2 I actually had to take anti nausea medication, it was so awful.

When I don't feel ill I start to worry about the bean. When I feel ill I wonder why I've done this to myself again. Can't win!

gumbootsandjandals · 08/06/2016 22:05

Also thanks for doing the list wispa . I've now decided my due date is the 29th. Will be interested to see what the dating scan says.

Kellz92 · 08/06/2016 22:10

Thanks everyone, had one tablet and feel less sick.

Caz I'm in Aberdeenshire where are you :) xx

Blueskies80 · 08/06/2016 22:19

Nausea settling in here with me too... Ugh
Don't want anything in particular to eat but then need to eat as that helps it.
Also am absolutely boiling at night!
Hoping all this is a good sign

Welcome to all the new people!
Great news about your scan wispa!!

Kellz92 · 08/06/2016 22:25

Blue I'm toasty at night too! I haven't eaten much today but thank god them tablets are working X

Masweetpea1 · 08/06/2016 22:44

Also too hot at night, my husband is sleeping in the other room at the minute as he's like an oven! Hoping it might rain tonight Smile

user1465429239 · 09/06/2016 00:53

Hello all

I am due 30th Jan/1st Feb. Waiting to get it confirmed by a doctor. I am currently living in Singapore so it is a bit strange being so far away from family and going through this for the first time. However my husband is very excited and supportive so i am lucky in that respect.

I hope you are all doing ok this week. I am really struggling with fatigue at the moment and some nausea but it is in the evening rather than the morning. Anyone else feeling that?

twocatsandatoddler · 09/06/2016 06:46

user yes the only time I feel nauseous at the moment is the evenings - I remember that's when it was worst in my first pregnancy. I think for me it's linked to tiredness so I feel worse close to bedtime. Thankfully I'm not suffering much nausea at all this time round, definitely less than last time, they say every pregnancy is different.

wispaxmas · 09/06/2016 08:29

Hi user, I've got the fatigue, but nausea is still mostly fine- I only feel unwell if I'm hungry or thirsty really.

Hope everyone is well today! I'm going to go a little off topic and bemoan the fact that my poor dog has to go to the specialist vet in Surrey today so she can have an MRI of her knee because she has been limping since April and our local vets have failed to conclusively diagnose cruciate rupture despite TWO rounds of X-rays and have referred us. For the past 13 days poor Wispa (the dog, yes, I picked my mumsnet name to be my dogs name) has been hopping on 3 legs and I'm really really REALLY hoping they can go ahead and do the surgery right away as its been going on for so long now Sad. Sorry for the tangent- I'm sure any other pet owners will understand how I feel.. Right?

Lucy1308 · 09/06/2016 08:35

Oh no poor Wispa!! Sounds horrible!! Hope she can be fixed sharpish! It's usually at this point that the vets start rubbing their hands together because they know we will pay it if it means they get better. As a sufferer of knee problems myself she will be glad to have something done about it. How did she do it? Poor baby :(

yasmin0147 · 09/06/2016 08:42

Im due feb 4th , i already have a 2 year old, very excited

wispaxmas · 09/06/2016 08:46

lucy, thanks, we luckily have really good pet insurance, so even with the specialist, MRI, and surgery we will only have spent our £160 excess. She did it playing with other dogs - she basically has a best friend, a local husky, and they play ROUGH with one another, and I started noticing a very slight limp at first, but only when she would stand up from lying down.. Then after a particularly rough shoulder barge it was much worse, and then rest saw it get better until we went to play again after a couple weeks having been given the all clear to resume normal play and Wispa decided to try to run with a whippet. Since then rest hasn't even helped, so probably definitely needs surgery.

Lucy1308 · 09/06/2016 08:55

Aww she's adorable!! So fluffy!! Glad you've got good insurance! Although let's face it, we all know we'd pay it even if we didn't!! Bloody animals are more expensive than children Wink. Hope you get some answers and a solution today!

Kellz92 · 09/06/2016 09:02

ma my dh works nights thank goodness he is always roasting.
user congratulations I have all day nausea lol
wispa poor doggy hope she's okay!! I get like that over my cats
yasmin congrats honey.

This was the test I did last night. I'm a bit more reassured

Jojoclaire · 09/06/2016 09:04

wispa I hope they do the surgery today so she can start to recover. I was wondering if she was a chocolate lab with that name, Smile but she's very sweet!

twocatsandatoddler · 09/06/2016 09:06

wispa I get it - my cats are namechecked in my username too! Hope the vet can do something to help, it's horrible when they're in pain.

Masweetpea1 · 09/06/2016 09:06

Ah wispa, hope your dog is ok. I have 3 cats and they're like 3 extra babies to me. I agree though they're bloody expensive (but worth it!) x

wispaxmas · 09/06/2016 09:13

Jojo, close! Chocolate labradoodle Grin

FriendlyGhost · 09/06/2016 09:47

Oh she's very cute. I hope it all goes well and she's on the mend soon. I completely get it. My cats are my original babies and I worry about them and fuss over them like my real baby!

CinderellaFant · 09/06/2016 10:00

Ah I hope wispa is ok! This is my little old man, he's 10! Just another one of the kids!

Hope everyone's doing ok. I have my GP appointment tomorrow, although from experience I know they don't do anything but think it will still make it more real! Almost 6 weeks now- halfway to 12 weeks!

Still bloated and feeling nauseous when hungry, so eating little and often.

He's adorable, Cinderella! Wispa is getting her surgery tomorrow morning and should be back home with us on Saturday, but that's DD's birthday party, yikes, I hope we can work around it time wise!
