friendly ghost how old is your dd? Mine is 3 beginning of September. She's very clingy with me as well, gets jealous of the cat never mind DH! I'm going to see about starting her one session a week at nursery from September so she doesn't feel pushed out come Feb.

I phoned surgery and soonest I can get booking in appointment is when I will be 10 weeks, aaaages away! That'll teach me for stalling.

Welcome skylucy I think a few of us are still in shock about our BFP!

HighHopes16 · 08/06/2016 09:38

Thanks for doing the list Wispa This will be my DC1 hence why I'm clueless!

I'm unsure on my due date too as if I go by the first day of my last period I'm 6+6 today which means I'm due on 26/01/17 but my cycles were all over the place before I got my BFP & I don't really have any symptoms so I'm not sure I'm that far along! hmm

Lalalala2015 · 08/06/2016 09:49

Morning ladies.

I woke up with a hint of nausea today, yay!

Fair play wispa it'll be dc2 for me though Smile I already have a 4 year old with my ex husband.

PhoebeGeebee · 08/06/2016 10:37

Thanks for the list Wispa - my dates are different now (based on LMP) so I'm 6+6 today and EDD is 25th January.

clementineclouds · 08/06/2016 10:44

thanks for doing that list wispa Smile

so how is everyone today, and how are you all finding the morning sickness? I've been having mild nausea for a couple of weeks now (I'm 6+1 today)....it comes and goes throughout the day. wondering if I just have it mild, or if its likely to kick in properly in a few weeks (as I'm expecting dc1, I don't have any experience to compare this too).

Ginger06 · 08/06/2016 10:53

clementineclouds same here it's my first baby I am having mild nausea in the afternoon, I just can't cope with being exhausted all the time

HighHopes16 · 08/06/2016 10:59

I've woke up with a really sore throat today. I almost took one of the lozenges I keep at work but then read the packet & it says 'consult your doctor before taking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding'

Picked up some Soothers, so hopefully they're okay as they are basically just sweets!

CinderellaFant · 08/06/2016 11:06

Nausea kicking in here too! Especially when I'm hungry. I'm just so exhausted at the minute, yet at night I can't sleep. It was after 2 by the time I got to sleep last night, then up at 7 with the kids.

Hazandduck · 08/06/2016 11:18

Last period was 28th of April so my calculations put me due 1st of Feb I think! (Failed Maths at school haha.) I am anxious as have been having cramping. Had mild nausea when I found out but used Nevasic and feel fine and hungry now. Do you think I could miscarry? I've never been pregnant before, been on Cerazette 9 years and got pregnant the first time we tried! X

Hazandduck · 08/06/2016 11:18

Oh and congratulations everyone! Fingers crossed for healthy pregnancies all round X

GinIsIn · 08/06/2016 12:55

Hi, I am I too late to join?! Only got my BFP today! According to my handy app, due date is 7th Feb. Oh, and this is DC1. I'm pregnant!! God it feels weird to say that! Grin

Kellz92 · 08/06/2016 13:00

im officially giving up and calling GP, cant keep food down with this sickness :( receptionist was speaking to me like crap too which doesnt me feel any better x

twocatsandatoddler · 08/06/2016 13:10

Welcome fenella, love the nameWink

kellz, sorry you feel rubbish. Hope the GP can help you, I know there are a lot of meds that can help and are safe in pregnancy.
Did you suffer in your previous pregnancy?

wispaxmas · 08/06/2016 13:21

Oh Kellz, don't let them fob you off, if you can't keep down fluids that's a problem!

Good news from my EPU scan this morning. Saw the fetal pole, though it was still too small to really measure, but there was a little flickering heart! They found the cause of my abdominal pain and maybe the spotting. It appears I has a simple cyst on my right ovary and some fluid from it. So, they're having me back for another scan to check that it's not growing in 4 weeks.

MarjorySunshineDust · 08/06/2016 13:23

Sorry to hear you are suffering kelz it's awful! Hope the doc can suggest something.

PhoebeGeebee · 08/06/2016 13:24

Sorry you're suffering so much Kellz and fingers crossed the GP is more helpful than the receptionist!

hazandduck - try not to panic (says the queen of panic and self diagnosis). How far gone are you? A certain amount of cramping is normal in the first few weeks as things are moving and stretching down there. If you don't have any back pain or bleeding, I wouldn't worry but your EPU is there if you need them. I had a bit of spotting last week so I know how scary these first months are.

No MS here. Possibly the smallest amount of nausea when I'm hungry but other than that, zero here! Is it wrong to actually wish for morning sickness (I know the answer is yes and that I should just enjoy it - I just can't help reading all these things that say MS is a good sign of a healthy pregnancy)

PhoebeGeebee · 08/06/2016 13:26

Fab news Wispa! That must be so reassuring. I have my 8 week scan next Friday and am excited and terrified in equal measures.

CinderellaFant · 08/06/2016 13:46

Brilliant news wispa! Grin

Hazandduck · 08/06/2016 13:54

Ah thank you PhoebeGeebee I am the exact same worry about every stupid little thing! Well I have started feeling sicky again and cramping has stopped for now...I am 6 weeks tomorrow. I know it is really early days I just wish you could go to sleep and wake up for your 12 week scan lol. I don't think I'll relax until then! Glad you aren't feeling sick, I know exactly what you mean when I started to feel hungry I panicked that there was something wrong! My mum and sisters have assured me they had no sickness or aversions so maybe it is just taking after them a bit? When are you due? Xx

Hazandduck · 08/06/2016 13:55

Sorry just saw, 8 weeks, how exciting! Xx

SpinALittleFaster · 08/06/2016 14:02

Great news wispa! I hope all is ok with the cyst.

HighHopes16 · 08/06/2016 14:12

Wow wispa I bet that was amazing to see the little flickering heart?

Do you have to pay for these 8 week reassurance scans? I'm 7 weeks tomorrow (based on the first day of my last period) and 12 weeks feels so long away!

PhoebeGeebee · 08/06/2016 14:18

Yes, ours is costing £80 but right now, I'd pay triple that to see a heartbeat and know that there is an actual baby in there.

PhoebeGeebee · 08/06/2016 14:19

HighHopes - snap, 7 weeks tomorrow too! (I may have said that previously, am losing my mind a bit...)

HighHopes16 · 08/06/2016 14:23

All I would worry about is paying for a scan & then only being 6 weeks & not being able to see anything?
We can be Due date buddies Phoebe ! Is this your first?
