Looks like I am the first one due 1st Feb but I tested very early as I felt weird and pregnant!

This is baby no 3 I have two DDs who are 2 and 3.

Woww wispa good job.

jodiebee664 · 07/06/2016 22:46

Thanks wispa!

twocatsandatoddler · 07/06/2016 22:51

Thanks wispa

friendlyghost my DS is 18 months this week too, I'm finding it a lovely age as he's so into everything and literally learning something new every day, but my goodness it's exhausting! How I'm going to cope with a toddler on holiday next weekend when I'm 8 weeks pregnant I don't know! Not to mention the road trip to Scotland while feeling sick!

Kellz92 · 07/06/2016 23:22

Wispa great list!!

Lucy pleased for you for your test.

I'm going to use my last 3 cheapest this week and my last clear blue tomorrow, last Wed I got 1-2 so hoping 2-3 now

Can't sleep from this damn sickness. Xx

FriendlyGhost · 07/06/2016 23:33

It really is a lovely age twocats. I'm not sure how I'm going to cope with a very active toddler and nausea yet though. I'm only feeling mildly queasy at the moment and dreading sickness like last time. Hope your road trip goes wellSmile

ScottishSnowflake · 08/06/2016 05:49

Wow, thanks Wispa! Yes, DC1 for me and so this thread is turning into a lovely wealth of knowledge! Thanks everyone.

Ginger, yes I'm getting those too, and pinching feelings as well as lower back ache. I'm hoping it's just everything trying to settle down and not anything to worry about.

Brown76 · 08/06/2016 06:14

Hello! Congratulations everyone. My due date is 9th February with baby number 2, I'll be 40 when he/she arrives.

PhoebeGeebee I'm also having weird feelings in my tummy, almost like how it feels when baby starts moving (butterflies) but no other symptoms yet.

Like wispa it was conceived on first proper month of trying i.e. actually DTD at the right time of the month, but I was convinced it would be several months like last time. The age gap between new baby and DS will be around 2 years 7 months.

Excited, feeling more relaxed than last time but also sort of want the symptoms to kick in so I know things are okay.

CorkyBark · 08/06/2016 06:20

Thanks for the list wispa. I did a double take when I read 'dc3' next to my name...I am always very vocal about how I've got more than enough on my plate with two. It will be fine, it will be fine, it will be fine.

SpinALittleFaster · 08/06/2016 06:48

Wow that must have taken ages wispa! I'm on dc2, didn't actually put that in my first post.

My group with DD used to put how far along they were on their posts every so often, kind of like a signature. I'm 4+2 today and it's dragging already. GP appointment tomorrow to check if they need to monitor my thyroid and see if I should be worried about DD's chicken pox.

ThreeLittleDucks99 · 08/06/2016 07:12

Ah wispa that looks great thanks so much. I think my edd is the 15th. Ha corky did have a huge burst of admiration for people on dc3 + ... I can barely cope with one! I do hate these first few weeks though, they drag and it's such a limbo. Stupid question but is there anything I should avoid at the gym for the next few weeks? Last pregnancy I stopped doing anything from the get go as was so anxious but this time I'm trying to carry on with life and keep a 'what will be will be' perspective for the next few weeks (minus the huge glass of wine I've had every night since DD was born)

PhoebeGeebee · 08/06/2016 07:21

Scottish - I'm having pinching type pains too every now and again. I find drinking water helps, pretty sure I'm not drinking enough liquids!

Lucy1308 · 08/06/2016 07:42

Spin that's a good idea!! I'm also 4w+2 according to my best guess at OV date (since my last period was 7 weeks ago and I'm definitely not that pregnant based on multiple -ve tests and a second LH surge!)

Time is dragging now- and I thought the TWW was bad!! I've still got 8 months left...

MarjorySunshineDust · 08/06/2016 07:51

Thanks wispa my due date is 5th Feb I believe!
I've been putting off making a booking in app for some reason, guess it doesn't quite feel real still! I'm going to ring today and get it sorted.

Other than tiredness and occasional nausea I'm feeling fine at the moment!

Must admit I had a bit of a freak out yesterday, worrying about how I will cope with two, how dd is going to feel and how I really didn't enjoy the Baby stage last time. Maybe it's starting to sink in! Sure it's just hormones and the fact I didn't expect to fall pregnant first month.

MarjorySunshineDust · 08/06/2016 07:53

Meant to add I had bad pnd last time so scared of that happening again.
Anyone else worrying like this? I know it's early days and I am excited for a new addition to our family, just a natural worrier I guess!

MrsH987 · 08/06/2016 07:56

Can I ask what people mean when they put 3+3, etc?

ScottishSnowflake · 08/06/2016 08:12

Thanks Phoebe, I'll try more water although I hate the stuff! Maybe I'll get some fruit teas to take the edge offSmile

MrsH, it's how many weeks and days you are, so today I'm 4 weeks and 5 days (4+5). Took me a while to get used to it! Confused my DH no end first time I tried to explain - oops Grin

CorkyBark · 08/06/2016 08:18

three I'd check with the PT at your gym - you need to keep your heart rate below a certain level as I recall. If you can hold a conversation whilst exercising that's about right but ask an expert. There's definitely no need to stop doing what you enjoy. Swimming is particularly good, being kind on your joints, and in a few months you'll love feeling weightless in the water! Congratulations Smile

twocatsandatoddler · 08/06/2016 08:20

threelittleducks I think they say it's ok to do your usual exercise as long as you're not overdoing it - and your body should tell you if you are as you'll feel dizzy! I remember from last time the advice was if you're already exercising there's no need to stop but pregnancy is not the time to start something new or increase the intensity. I think it's advised to stay away from too much weights and resistance work though as the extra progesterone makes all your ligaments relax in preparation for birth so it's easy to strain something, but not sure that applies in first trimester. I guess it's also advisable to avoid crunches and abs work at some point but I don't think that would apply before there's a bump!

I'm still running occasionally, but taking it easy, if that helps. I've definitely noticed a decrease in fitness the last few weeks so I've been adjusting what I've been doing accordingly. Just pushing DS up the hill to nursery this morning and rushing for the train has got me out of breath and sweaty!

FriendlyGhost · 08/06/2016 08:21

Marjory I'm also worried about dealing with two and how my dd will react. She's a very cuddly, clingy little thing and gets jealous when I cuddle my DH! I'm telling myself that it will be good for her in the long run because she has to learn to share me. I'm also stupidly worrying how I will love another as much as her. I know lots of second time parents say you just do but I can't imagine it as the moment.
MrsH you also count the weeks/days from the first day of your last period so you get a nice bonus couple of weeks added on. I'm 4+1 today!

FriendlyGhost · 08/06/2016 08:26

Threelittleducks I looked into this last time as I ran a lot then. Unfortunately morning sickness got me so badly I gave up on exercise early on but I think the main thing is not to over do it. Don't let yourself get too hot, keep hydrated and make sure you eat enough so you don't get lightheaded. Also low impact stuff is best when both pregnant and breastfeeding as you become more stretchy and so can damage ligaments more easily.

HighSparrow · 08/06/2016 08:35

Thanks wisps! It's DC1 for me. I was trying for about 7 or 8 months, obsessively, with no whiff of a line before this!

I'm 3+5 today, feeling like an idiot that I tested earlier than af is due. Af due today (shortish cycle), and no sign of her touch wood! I had a strong positive yesterday after faint positives on ICs the day before.
I've been looking at the daily miscarriage stats and I'm going to be terrified until about 6 weeks! Also going to book an early scan if I get to 6 weeks.

Is anyone changing their diet now? I need to clean up my eating habits. May introduce green smoothies too.

MrsH987 · 08/06/2016 08:50

So if you take the weeks from your last period then That means I'll be about 3+3 then.

High sparrow I've changed my diet dramatically but it because I've gone off anything sweet. Can't eat any chocolate anymore. Shock

SkyLucy · 08/06/2016 08:54

Hi everyone, I'd love to join you! Got my BFP on Monday (my wedding anniversary!) DH and I are still in shock! It's our first, we've been trying since the new year.

Very nervous about it all (and thrilled, obvs!) Completely fortuitously I have a GP app on Fri, so I'll mention it then and hope it all feels a bit more real. The lines on the pos tests have been ridiculously faint (proper squinters!) but a clearblue digi said 1-2 weeks, so I'm hanging on to that! I'll do another test tomorrow morning, hoping for a darker line. My boobs ache and I feel horribly nauseous, so I think things are okay! Eek.

SkyLucy · 08/06/2016 09:19

I've just spotted wispa's list...what a feat! I think (think) my due date would be 10 Feb (good grief it's weird to see that written down...!)

Masweetpea1 · 08/06/2016 09:33

Morning all,
Great list wispa! Must have taken you ages.
I'm 4+3 today and the nausea is kicking in. Just trying to sort and clean my house ready for my little girls 1st birthday party on Friday, eurghhhhh. Not sure how I'm going to hide this from the inlaws, I've been in bed by 8 the last few days, the heat has been unbearable!
I had elcs last time as dd was breech. I think I'll do the same this time as frightened about labour, especially as elcs wasn't straight forward in the end. Though having a 20 month old with a c section scar also worries me! So much to worry about!!!! Blush
