Looks like I am the first one due 1st Feb but I tested very early as I felt weird and pregnant!

This is baby no 3 I have two DDs who are 2 and 3.

They never show any of this stuff in those rom coms about pregnant mummies do they? Maybe we should write a screenplay and see if someone will turn our symptoms into a more true to life film?

Luckily DH seems to be suffering from sympathy windy pops himself so home is a delightful place to be!

MarjorySunshineDust · 02/06/2016 21:44

I also had bad sickness with my first, dreading it but it is weirdly reassuring at the same time! I'm already starting to feel vaguely nauseous but probably just imagining it at this stage. Been getting the little ligament cramps and am ravenous all the time.

MarjorySunshineDust · 02/06/2016 21:46

One big perk so far, I usually get hormonal spots all over my chin before period but my skin is clear! Will make up for looking like a sea cow in a few months time.

wispaxmas · 02/06/2016 21:53

jojo, I've been feeling a bit nauseated and then suddenly burp, but nothing big! But then any time I've been sick with a stomach bug or hangover I get the same.

I honestly don't remember these cramps last time around SadSadSad

twocatsandatoddler · 02/06/2016 21:55

Has anyone else had a previous c-section and found the cramps to be more painful this time round? It makes sense as there's scarring down there, and it's not painful enough to make me worry there's something wrong, but its definitely different!

wispaxmas · 02/06/2016 22:11

No previous section, but maybe it's an issue for people who have had previous pregnancies, like how we show earlier because everything expands more quickly second time around?

Blueskies80 · 02/06/2016 22:13

Evening all
Having some pink / brown and red tinged spotting yesterday and today, trying not to think the worst but after two Mc last year am concerned I'm heading the same way again, currently 5+5. Have to keep remembering the heavy bleeding I had with no 1, and she was fine, it's hard though.
In two minds about having a scan, find them so stressful when its too early to see much. Arghhhhh

Readytosettle · 02/06/2016 22:15

Welcome marjory, I'm in a similar position to you. DS1 is 3 at the beginning of October & I was also a little bit shocked to find myself preggers in my first cycle this time! Eek.

Kellz92 · 02/06/2016 23:00

Twocats hope you get a reason, my app is the 30th at 9 am but luckily my work are good about appointments and never ask what's wrong lol

Wispa, I'm a bit crampy but have really bad trapped wind, it's sore!! Worried I'll show earlier as I was showing by 10 weeks last time! Didn't expect it as I'm already big, I feel like I'm already bigger but it's the bloating

Ready I have no idea why the GP needs to see you either, sure it will go well

Happy I had a chemical last year so I'm super scared even though I have symptoms, remember every pregnancy is different

Hey marjory congrats Hun

Jojo my sickness gives away a bit after I release wind....not just burps lol

Blue skies try not worry, easier said than done, I know

How are you all? Just home from slimming world so reading my new leaflet, have a firm for my mw to sign every time she sees me, got to concentrate on just eating healthy and not losing weight now, dud lose 3lbs this week. Up iron ably lack. If eating xx

Kellz92 · 02/06/2016 23:05

Told me there was an error first time grrr lol

CinderellaFant · 02/06/2016 23:23

Blueskies it might be best to go and get checked , even just to put your mind at rest.

I feel bigger than I should be- wore jeggings today and the waistband kept rolling down! I definitely shouldn't be showing yet! Good to see you are following slimming world Kelz, I am doing 'we slim together' which is basically the same as slimming world but cheaper each week lol. Lost 2 lb last week!

HighHopes16 · 03/06/2016 06:30

I just feel really bloated all the time - like I've ate a big bowl of pasta ! lol I lost four stone a few years ago, really don't want to gain it all back in pregnancy!!

wispaxmas · 03/06/2016 06:58

Ugh, I stupidly wasted my second clear blue digital this morning and got 2-3. Oh well, it took past 6 weeks to get 3+ last time, so no idea why I thought I'd get it today at 5+2 Hmm

blueskies, if you're still worried come Monday do see about going to the EPU, you'll be past 6 weeks and they should be able to see enough, maybe even a heartbeat!

wispaxmas · 03/06/2016 07:04

Cinderella and Kellz, oh wow, it's great you're continuing slimming world! I fell off the MFP wagon a couple months ago after only losing 5% of my body weight and I really needed to lose about 20% and was hoping for 10%. Whoops. Last pregnancy I did actually lose weight by the end (as in, after having DD I weighed a few lbs lighter than when I fell pregnant), but then mat leave and all the cake and coffee dates really did me in. I'm really hoping I manage to stay healthy this time around. I'm already feeling bloated enough that I look pregnant and contemplating buying some new maternity leggings this weekend!!

CinderellaFant · 03/06/2016 07:48

I put on massive amounts of weight with my last 2 pregnancies and never really lost it, I can't do it again this time!

Readytosettle · 03/06/2016 09:24

So as predicted the GP was a bit of a waste of time....all she did was complete the referral form that I could have done myself online, then sent me to the front desk to fill out the mat exemption form & book mw appointment for 10wks. It's difficult to feel sympathy for 'overstretched' GP's when they're wasting appointments like that!

Anyways, got my Emma's diary & with any luck my exemption card'll be here in a week or so and I can book myself some free dental treatment ;-)

Blueskies80 · 03/06/2016 09:25

Thanks guys
I have decided I will go a week today, when I will be nearly 7 weeks, if I get that far. It's so hard to get into the epu as you have to go so early, and next week we are back at school / work.
Similarly I haven't got back to pre pregnancy weight - over five years ago now Blush maybe I can try slimming world in the future!!

HighHopes16 · 03/06/2016 09:31

I can't see anywhere online where I can self refer myself to a midwife locally? It's just coming up with private early scans that you have to pay for. I think I'm going to ring the docs on Monday as I'm off work, I'll be almost 7 weeks then going my the date of my last period!

Kellz92 · 03/06/2016 09:35

Cinderella well done on 2lb loss.

Wispa at least it didn't go down to 1-2 weeks

Ready I have my voucher ready to go to Argos :)

Did my last boots digi today was worried it would say not pregnant but it didn't yaaay it has put my mind to rest after the ic.
Feeling so sore today as I have bad trapped wind x

MarjorySunshineDust · 03/06/2016 09:37

I weight the same now as when I fell pregnant the first time, which is too much to be honest! Had hoped to get a bit of weight off before now because my bmi will be 30 and they will want me to have a gtt. I didn't gain too much last time after all the sickness so we shall see what happens this time!

Kellz92 · 03/06/2016 10:01

I needed a gtt last time and wil need one this time too. Just hoping I have two lucky pregnancies with no gd x

On the heart rate side after worrying my heart rate wasn't going up. Been looking at it and it's always in the 80s resting rate is still in 60s but rest of the time in 80s at least :) x

JessJR23 · 03/06/2016 10:04

Hi all, can I join? Just got my BFP this morning after TTC2 for 9 months. Really unexpected this month but totally overjoyed. Have checked calculator and due date varying from 9th-12th Feb. First was (apparently) over 2 weeks late so may be late Feb :)

Jojoclaire · 03/06/2016 10:45

Is anyone else take pregnancy vitamins? I'm having two of the sainaburys ones a day (when I remember) but there was a programme on BBC 1 last night that said vitamins are a waste of time and could even be dangerous? Apart from folic acid, is anyone else talking special vits? Do you think they work?

Jojoclaire · 03/06/2016 10:45

Congratulations jess that's amazing news Smile
