Summers here and bumps are busy growing. Scans photos are coming thick and fast and team pink and blue are rampining up their numbers.

We have new grads furiously POAS, second trimesters eager for their bumps and veterans about to embark on trimester 3 and contemplating baby size with mild terror apprehension.

The weathers to hot for comfort and our pregnancy aches, pains and symptoms are getting on our tits literally in some cases !!

All are welcome to TTC#1 grads thread #6

miley yes, she's an absolute peach. Grin
pink long story short she's saying that dh and I "will have to live with the decision that we selfishly didn't tell his grandfather about the baby before he died" and "maybe he would have lived longer if he'd known, you should have told him" those are quoted verbatim. There's been more vitriol and nastiness. It just makes me wonder what has happened in her life that would her so bitter and vicious. We should have been psychic and known he was going to pass away in his sleep apparently, 3 hours before we were going to tell them.

Thanks potato awww little chiplet is getting big now! How lovely! Although probably not lovely when she's tickling your lungs!

Canters15 · 31/05/2016 21:12

potato and pink I'm 15+3 now. Had a relatively good week last week but it's back again. Feeling really fed up with it all.

starky granny sounds horrendous!! What a cow!

LisaTheSimpson · 31/05/2016 22:41

So sorry you're feeling rubbish, Canters. Full sympathy and empathy.

Hope it eases up soon x

BunchOfBobs · 31/05/2016 22:53

Miley trust me I've been shocked with my weather too. I live in one of the wettest counties in the UK. Good ol' mid Wales has been good to us the last few day though.

Hypnobirthing was great. Lots of laughter and lots of relaxing techniques learned. I really enjoyed it.

Laurenrl · 31/05/2016 23:03

Baby micro still doesn't want to make herself felt but certainly wants to make herself seen! 22+5

My body shape is so odd now, I've still got slim (ish) size 10 legs but my top is out of control and probably closer to a 14 now, just about getting away with 12 maternity after being a 10 all my life.

Also I feel like my bump is so high it starts from my boobs...is this normal? Its less of a bump more of a curve outwards!!

Laurenrl · 31/05/2016 23:10

Not that 14 is out of control just re-read and that sounds awful! I just mean it's growing like crazy! my whole upper body is gaining weight rapidly all over when the lower isn't...

leoniethelioness · 01/06/2016 07:25

My bump feels really long too. I'm putting it down to being short - baby has to use all the space he can!

leoniethelioness · 01/06/2016 07:29

I think you have a really neat bump, Lauren!

shelbTa · 01/06/2016 08:26

That looks neat to me Lauren. And I think I have those pants in red - are they primark?!

X

BunchOfBobs · 01/06/2016 08:42

Lauren it's just high as baby is pushing all your guts up above them. Looks like a neat bump to me too.

Ugh dpd are doing my nut in. They were supposed to be delivering the crib mattress yesterday but still haven't apparently even got hold of the parcel (yet tracking says they've had it for 2 days). Amazon customer service are great as always so I have an extra month free of Prime and a gift voucher for £3 ha. I swear due to the usual fuck ups of yodel I've had almost a year free of Prime.

I'm off to my parents today for a couple of days (DH away with work), they love having me and the dog stay and I get to go purchase a huge chunk of my hospital bag shopping list tomorrow.

That's me officially on maternity leave. What the actual f?!

Planeteer · 01/06/2016 09:02

Woohoo Bunch! Congrats on the mat leave. Imagine it must feel pretty surreal, but I hope you can relax and enjoy as much as possible. Star (and virtual alcohol free champagne too, cos why not?!)

When did you guru like ladies of 25+ weeks start monitoring movement? Pancake has definitely been getting more active, but I'm only 20+4 and not sure if I should be watching out for routines or any changes in them yet.

PotatosMum · 01/06/2016 09:04

Morning ladies, how are you all today?

Lauren that's a lovely bump and shape sounds perfectly normal.

Yay for maternity leave Bunch its really exciting!

I've finally found some maternity jeans Yay! So I thought I'd wear them to work... This may have been a mistake as I'm now sweltering and Potato keeps kicking at the waste band I assume in irritation. I just can't win but at least I look a little less like an old granny than I did in the maternity dresses even if I did have to get OH to put my shoes on for meBlush

I'll sort out another thread at lunch, we've steamed through this one!!

Sodasoda · 01/06/2016 09:28

lauren as others have said it looks neat to me! Everything is pushed high for me too. I used to be a 32 bra measurement and am now a 36! Shock

25 weeks today Smile

planet I haven't done any movement monitoring but baby has been increasingly squirmy and very kicky as time has gone on. No definite patterns of when though - yesterday it we all day! I'm seeing midwife tomorrow (finally seeing a midwife for first time since booking in) so will ask whether I should be monitoring things then.

Congrats on maternity leave bunch! I'm intending to work up until 38 weeks but really not sure I'll make it.

LaraG13 · 01/06/2016 09:47

Hello all!! Just popping in. I read and keep up with you all but find it all moves too fast for me to comment much.

bunch I love your pointy bump! lauren your bump looks lovely and normal to me. I'm getting a big bump now and put on 3lbs this week which has terrified me a bit. I used to be really active but the sickness and tiredness of pregnancy means all I now do are long walks and I think it's affecting my confidence. Love having a bump but still find the weight gain disconcerting and feel worried about putting on stones and stones that I can never lose. But I know it's superficial and then I feel guilty for worrying and remind myself to be happy that all seems to be going to plan.

Sorry you're still sick canters. It's awful isn't it. Mine went away for a couple of weeks but has been back this last week. Really hope it goes soon.

Hope things work out for your mortgage potato. I've had a few viewings but no offers so I'm starting to worry slightly about the timeline!

starky how are you doing now?Is everything more real?

lillian we seem to be scan buddies through this - do you have your 20week scan next week? Mine is next Wed. So excited about finding out the sex! Congrats on your lovely 12 week scan feef.

Wishing all those I haven't mentioned well. Love reading about how you're all doing x

Co5mo · 01/06/2016 10:47

Irregular I'm at the Royal. Closer to home than the general and very convenient from a going to appointments from work perspective! I hope the anaesthetist appointment goes well today. My husband nearly did the same thing as you today with his dentist appointment!

IndiX · 01/06/2016 12:22

Hi ladies,
Haven't had a chance to catch up but baby Beanie is healthy and perfect and definitely a GIRLGrin we had to go private for this scan and the sonographer even gave us some 4D views. She's very cute if I do say so myself.

Very happy!
Hope you're all well, will have a proper read through later on X

Not as pointy as yours bunch but we have some lopsided baby going on today here too!

Mileymoocow · 01/06/2016 12:39

indi she is adorable!!! ❤

Hope everyone is well. I'm so bloody tired at the moment it's unreal. Fell asleep early still struggled to get up this morning. It's now dinner time and I'm exhausted. OH is night shift tonight so I'm going to have a shower (baby goes mental if I have a bath!) and a very early night.

15 weeks and 2 days til maternity leave and counting..

PotatosMum · 01/06/2016 12:41
