...I had a flash of inspiration today and started looking up possible Halloween costume ideas Grin
Yes I know it's insanely early and at 4+2 it's insanely early days but I'm riding the "excited" wave at the moment.
Nerves will replace shortly.

Yes I'm 32 but I'm still dressing up! We always do!!!
I wonder how soon is too soon to start arranging this year's theme with our friends?!!

Wow, what a busy feed. There's going to be a December baby boom!
Sorry to read your post Cho. Take some you time is my only advice x

Hannahcarp27 · 25/04/2016 16:36

Flashinthepan Same!! I'm near Heathrow

Dunlin1987 · 25/04/2016 16:36

Nurserose I too am from East Yorkshire :)

I am 28, married and this is my first baby. It's a good idea to reintroduce ourselves as it has been a while since I last posted. I am due 8th December and 8 weeks gone. Good luck to all and so sorry to those who have had bad news xxx

NurseRosie · 25/04/2016 16:38

Also loving the Halloween costume ideas x

Same age, married, first baby, 8 weeks gone, East Yorkshire... a bit spooky Dunlin x

Flashinthepan · 25/04/2016 16:47

I'm nearer to Gatwick, Hannah. Which hospital will you be at?

Mejse · 25/04/2016 16:49

Thinking of you cho Flowers

Welcome to all the newbies.
I'm pretty surprised by how many of us there are now! Especially because I have heard of people taking a break from ttc so that they don't have a December baby.

Dinosaur we are going to a comic con in September so I have also had a quick look at costume ideas. I have discovered that there aren't many pregnant characters in that genre and the ones that there are seem to have very bad luck.

LittleBear01 · 25/04/2016 16:57

So sorry to hear your news Cho, same happened to me last September after 3rd IVF. It's absolutely devastating. Be kind to yourself and take time off sick.

Bigfam · 25/04/2016 17:02

Wow this thread has moved fast! I posted on the old one about DP wanting to take me for a Chinese. It was a complete flop, as soon as I smelt it I ran to the toilet where a little girl announced to her mum I was crying, so I explained I was newly pregnant, and likely to puke if I removed my hand from my mouth Blush
Thinking of cho.
I've felt so much better today, it's actually scaring me, Saturday and Sunday I couldn't move, I don't even feel pregnant.
Hi newbies Grin
Mw will be contacting me Friday to make my first appointment but going from the clear blue roughly, I'd be around 7 weeks today

lilydaisyrose · 25/04/2016 17:21

I felt amazing last night and earlier today and got all my s/employed work done for the week (yahoo, was so behind). Went for lunch and a hot chocolate with all the trimmings and now feel like I've been hit by a bus. I'm so physically & mentally exhausted. I had a double school run to do (son in after school activity) and I could seriously go to bed for the night now! My limbs feel like they are welded to the sofa. I need to go and make the tea but I just feel so knackered! I'm being a rubbish Mummy - kids on minecraft & had crisps for after school snack!!!

Cho - I'm so so sorry to hear your news.

Sunshine - fantastic scan!! Yay!

Dunlin1987 · 25/04/2016 17:27

Very spooky NurseRose I am from Hull! What hospital will you be attending?

Bigfam · 25/04/2016 17:34

lilydaisyrose yep 3 of mine are playing a Minecraft explore game where they all link together, they're obsessed with it!! I'm just cooking tea whilst keeping the youngest entertained then when they're all clean and in bed I think I might watch a film. Had a rubbish nights sleep last night, dd3 somehow managed to lose all of her dummies & the only one she had left, apparently, just wasn't good enough (different shape) because she was awake at least 12 times Shock

Anewleaf · 25/04/2016 17:43

Flowers Cho really sorry.

Bigfam..Even with that story I still fancy a Chinese... Grin

Any West Yorkis here? I'm wondering whether to go with Calderdale Royal rather than Bradford this time.

Exhausted got through my 5 lessons today which is a relief. Crazy to think this is just early days!

I just called to get my docs appointment but they're not taking any appointments till next week and after then it'll be a 2 week wait.

Theaks · 25/04/2016 17:44

**southdownsunshine 3 litres a day? How can anyone fit that in.

FluffyPickleMonster · 25/04/2016 17:51

Wow there's gazillions of us!! March is clearly the month of the baby dance!
cho sorry to hear your news, will be thinking of you.
sunny I'm totes emosh!!! Cried all day watching the marathon yesterday! Hubby thought it was hilarious.
southdowns- amazing, congratulations officially on order!
Arrgghhh can't remember who asked about morning sickness...... I feel sick almost constantly but haven't actually been sick, I just do lots of mega burps then eat a cracker! I think I might feel better if I could actually be sick.

Anyone else in Birmingham or Solihull??

becciandbump · 25/04/2016 18:03

Really sorry chochang thinking of you. ThanksI'm really nervous about going for a scan as I have very few pregnancy symptoms. Think I may pluck up the courage to book one towards the end of this week.

rider1975 · 25/04/2016 18:04

Hey Hannah - I'm near Heathrow in North Feltham near Bedfont. Which hospital are you thinking ?

NurseRosie · 25/04/2016 18:11

Hull Royal will be my Hospital too Dunlin x

NurseRosie · 25/04/2016 18:23

Hull Royal will be my Hospital too Dunlin x

JojoChuHi · 25/04/2016 18:28

Firawla I didn't know hospitals didn't do 12 week? I don't think I can wait that long!! I'm not sure I'm going to be at Watford, may well be Lister in Stevenage. Will see if we manage to move in time. We're probably moving near St Albans/ Welwyn area so not as far as Bucks...

Has anyone ever had a private early (7wk) scan? I'm not likely to be getting a first appointment for ages (seeing as my GP receptionists don't even pick up the phone) £150 for peace of mind...

SouthDownsSunshine · 25/04/2016 18:29

Surely 12 weeks scans have to be offered, otherwise how else would they check the nuchal fold etc?

peanutbutter2409 · 25/04/2016 18:31

Here's a picture from my scan on Saturday, I couldn't attach it earlier as I was on my work computer. Was amazing seeing the heart beating!

peanutbutter2409 · 25/04/2016 18:34

JojoChuHi, I paid £95 for a private scan at the weekend and it was worth every penny. I was 8 weeks exactly

excitedmummytob · 25/04/2016 18:34

Hi there... I'm 34 and pregnant with our first child...first pregnancy too! 8 weeks today Ruth an estimated Due date of 7 Dec! Feeling constantly 'full' and nauseous but no sore breasts! 12 week scan booked in for 23/5 so a bit of a long wait...very anxious at the moment! Tired too!! Lovely to see all these Christmas babies xxx
