Pink I walked in to the theme from the BBC adaptation of Narnia, which my dad used to teach me to play on the piano when I was tiny. Had Nick Drake Northern Sky for signing the register, and walked back up the aisle to You Make My Dreams by Hall and Oates (the really bouncy happy one from 500 Days of Summer). Couldn't help but have a bit of a dance on the way back up!!

PotatosMum · 08/05/2016 20:30

Pink I haven't even though about wedding music yet, when I do get my planning head on its all about the reception. I suppose I should give it some thought though as The long awaited decree absolute can be requested in 6 weeks then OH has no more excuse Grin

HA Lisa sounds like we'll match. OH and I are going to wait until the baby is here as we're intending to fit the kitchen ourselves. OH has done one before and I'm fairly competent at plumbing, flooring and tiling so we should only need to get someone in to move a plug socket and hook up the range Smile

Bunch I love that you walked out to Mr blue sky, I love that song Grin

Leonie when will your plasterer be back? That sounds like a real pain.
Sounds like your kitchen is lovely, why don't you just replace the tiles? Assuming the walls behind are ok it's quite easy to do and can completely change the look of a room Smile

Planet the TV theme to narnia is a gorgeous, what a lovely idea have started scribbling down ideas... Sorry Pink Wink

We've got a date set Potato, so i'm trying to do as much planning as possible before baby comes, as I'm sure I'll be kept busy once she arrives!

I've not listed to the Narnia tv theme, but I'll have a Google. Other suggestions from OH have been Star Wars and Marvel related Hmm

It was such a relief today to wake up at a normal time feeling steady on my feet! OH has been making me leave the toilet door open and asking me how I am if he hasn't seen me for more than a few minutes Blush

I'm glad it's only early days here; I can't cope with thoughts of babies that weigh a stone at the moment! I love reading this chat as it gives me a lot of insight of the months to come!

My first dance song was Elbow's Mirrorball though I wouldn't recommend it as my husband broke my heart and we split up after 5 years of marriage

Nearly fainted on the train to work. Feeling delicate and sorry for myself now! It was really stuffy and I had to stand the whole way (about 15 mins). On another train to go to meet with a client now but it is cool and I've got a seat and plenty of room.

Morning all,

Oh Leonie make sure you carry water with you, maybe a hand held fan? That must have been scary. Get some sugar in you to help you feel less wobbly. Hope you're okay now.

Looks like another beautiful day, though we have thunder forecast for later. Today is my only day not planned this week, I'm at the hospital tomorrow for my first and hopeful last ctg and yet again another lot of bloods. I really hope they sign me off. Wednesday I have the vets for the dogs allergy jab that I have to learn how to do Confused and Thursday is preggo Physio- so hoping for a hip support as I've been in so much pain the last 3 weeks. From Friday I'm off to stay with my SIL for 10 days to do baby classes with her and her 7 month old and generally be surrounded by children. Wish me luck Hmm. It's so hard filling my days when there's no work but I'm nearly on the home stretch.

I hope everyone has a lovely Monday

PotatosMum · 09/05/2016 08:55

Pink how exciting that you have a date Grin we've tentatively said next summer as I need to lose the baby weight and we need to get the garden in a fit state for the wedding party. Hopefully once the divorce has finalised we can get into setting a date and ring shopping Grin
Oh and Rae's theme from the new Star Wars movie is quite pretty Wink

May glad you're feeling less wobbly and OH is looking after you.
The problem with everyone on this thread being at different stages is that you unfortunately get a preview of what it's like further down the line! When we started the grads we were all blissfully ignorant and expecting glowing second trimesters and to skip through pregnancy showing off our bumps and eating healthy diets... I don't think any of us were expecting to feel like poo and live off junk food lol

Leonie that sounds awful. As Bunch says, make sure you take some water with you in this weather and try to kick ignorant bastards off the seats sit down if you can.

Bunch sounds like you have a busy week head. I hope the hospital goes well. I'm sure you won't have any problem learning how to give your dog a jab... I'm assuming it's just a jab to the scruff which doesn't hurt them at all.
Enjoy your err break? Is that the right word for it lol.

I've got the dreaded mortgage appointment tomorrow followed by the midwife on Wednesday. I'm really not sure what to do about work, on the one hand o feel a lot better in myself and I'm able to get out and about a little bit now but on the other I just can't sit at a desk without ending up in excruciating pain Sad I would feel bad getting signed off again as I've always been brought up to go to work if I can physically get there but I don't want to relapse.

I've just realised how much we've been nattering... I better get on to starting a new thread!!! Grin

Potato if going back into work will make you worse, you know the answer there Wink If you feel you can work from home the dr can write your fit note as such. If not, take the sick note, do what is best for you and Potato.

I know re: "break". I'm thinking I may come back not wanting kids hah. She has 3 boys and they're all amazing but it will still be a culture shock.

I just got a great video of Pip dancing and put it on IG Grin
