I got an email about it yesterday Bunch. Not sure if it's different timings in different areas, or possibly I just haven't read it properly!

Mileymoocow · 15/04/2016 09:01

Well, I had a vomiting episode this morning Sad I did take my tablets half an hour late though so hopefully that'll be all for today!

Good luck for scans everyone having them!!! GrinGrin

BunchOfBobs · 15/04/2016 09:21

Eek Potato is in her scan now how exciting.

I'm thinking of breaking a self imposed rule. I'm playing around with names (even though we had 2 picked out) as DH and I will randomly say names out and he said one yesterday and it's stuck with me. I now have a list of 8 names and I love them. I'm tempted to sound them out with people but really don't want to be influenced by some one else's opinion- so why do I want to ask people gah!

Anyone else doing similar?

BunchOfBobs · 15/04/2016 10:02

First round of blood tests back and the ALT levels (that were elevated last time) have halved woop woop. But my bile acids have doubled though still way in the normal range. Apparently if things stay normal they are likely to reduce my monitoring yaaaay!!!!

Mileymoocow · 15/04/2016 10:29

bunch constantly shouting random names at each other in our house! Still haven't found one either of us like than our original choices. Good news about your blood results too!!

Hurry up potato!! I'm getting impatient haha

Peaches8Posies · 15/04/2016 10:47

Morning ladies. Checking in. 9+5 (and with starky waiting on the 12 week mark/scan to fully believe 😂) had a bit of a ruff start to the week but seem ok today. Have my blood tests etc... a week today and hopefully my date for my first scan.

Big day today ladies can't wait to see your beautiful scan pics 😊Think if mini potato is not team blue though I'll be quite surprised as you seem soo convinced! Hope your scans go well and you get babies in a good position to find out.

miley Fingers crossed it's a little blimp. Steak sounds amazing! I was out for a meal last week and chickened out ordering steak in case it wasn't done well enough. Any sight of pink would have induced the sickness with in me in seconds 😐 oh the joys.....

StarkyTheDirewolf · 15/04/2016 10:54

bunch and miley dh keeps doing that! I was downstairs the other day and he goes "what about Blue?" I'm like "who about blue, babe? What's blue?" "No, as a name, I like it" had to inform him that it was Jay Z's daughters name (he has an irrational hatred of Jay-Z) so that's out! He's one on his own!

bunch excellent news about your levels!
Also impatient for potato to get back!

LaraG13 · 15/04/2016 11:10

Everything was perfect. Baby was jumping around like mad and then got fed up of the prodding and curled in a ball and refused to move no matter how much I jumped around. I'm hoping this means 0
a sleepy baby, but more likely it means stubborn 😀 So ecstatic - best feeling in the world!!!

Morning ladies, you were all very busy on here last night/this morning. Lara that is amazing! What a pic!

i'm getting an early scan next week in week 6, Dr recommended it this morning and said hopefully it will provide reassurance as they should be able to see a heartbeat by then.

Can't wait to hear more scan news today, is it just Potato and Lara, or is there someone else as well? Can I blame forgetfulness on baby brain already?

Peaches8Posies · 15/04/2016 11:24

bunch glad you got good results. Hopefully they will continue that way.

Peaches8Posies · 15/04/2016 11:25

Amazing pic lara

PotatosMum · 15/04/2016 11:38

Hello ladies, I'll catch up properly later but I just wanted to let you know that the scan went perfectly. Potato stayed obediently still and revert thing looks perfect. We did however get a bit of a surprise when we were told that he is actually a she Shock I should have expected it really as the law of sod dictates that as we were so certain it was a boy it had to be a girl!

We're pretty sure we have a name but we're keeping it as a surprise Grin

Aww potato amazing pic! And a surprise team pink! ☺ Glad everything went well. Sods law right enough haha

Mileymoocow · 15/04/2016 11:52

lara I'm so glad everything went well!

Eeeeeek potato that's brilliant news I'm so happy for you! And a bit smug Grin I'm in such a wonderful mood seeing everyone's good news.

starky I think you should name your child Winter. It'll be the coolest name ever!! Grin live your unusual name choices though, whatever you decide will be brilliant. I also hate Jay z

peaches I usually have it rare as hell but medium was perfect, not too pink and didn't have to worry about the nasties

StarkyTheDirewolf · 15/04/2016 11:57

miley that's on my list! And I met a little Winter (Winnie) who looked like a little tree fairy which made me love it even more! Dh said no! I'm a bit worried it would sound a bit 'cowboys and Indians' Winter Wolf' Grin and that's on the off chance it's a girl, I'm quietly thinking boy. Dh is insisting girl.

Beautiful pics guys!

shelbTa · 15/04/2016 12:07

IndiX · 15/04/2016 12:24

Aww I'm loving these scans ladies. So happy for you all, what gorgeous scans Grin really cheered me up after being a lazy miserable sod all morning (blaming it completely on DH's snoring all nightAngry)

BunchOfBobs · 15/04/2016 12:42

Aww amazing scan pics Lara, Potato and Shelb. And Nevs theory is still going strong!

Starky if you stay sickness free as nev, Mor, and I did then you may be joining team blue. Mor is keeping her secret and not letting us know who reliable this theory is Wink but so far it's working. Mileys LO is definitely coming out in pink glitter!!

PotatosMum · 15/04/2016 12:48

Shelb so glad your scan went well too, your photo is fab Grin
Team Pink seem to be beating team blue at the moment.

Miley hope you're feeling better after your blip this morning?

Flash good luck for your scan next week.

Lara fab that your scan went well and lovely photo Smile

Yay! For the positive blood results Bunch hopefully it's all under control now.

So today's not so good news was that my fibroid has grown a bit and moved over to the left where I've been getting a lot of dull tooth ache type pain. I was also told it had changed appearance and the dr's first instinct was that it's about to start remaking down so I've been warned to get off to A&E if the pain turns sharp. Not what I wanted to hear but it could still be ok...

Potato I'm sure things will be fine, but do as they say and get yourself off to a&me if in any doubt.

Here's how my delightful bruise is coming along after the student attempted to butcher me take my blood. I'm definitely saying no from now on. Thankfully it doesn't hurt any more.

The photo isn't showing it quite as big as it is, it's about 2 inches in length and has some lovely purple bits mottling into green and yellow. Yummy . I'm quite proud of it.

And welcome to Team Pink Potato and Shelb! I was combined baby Potato was a boy for some reason!

Sodasoda · 15/04/2016 15:09

Hooray! Lovely scan pics lara, potato and shelb - excellent news!

Enjoy the weekend everyone xx

Planeteer · 15/04/2016 15:20

Lovely crop of scans! And yay for team pink. Congrats guys ( although I'd have been just as excited no matter what flavour your little ones were!)

Jamjar12 · 15/04/2016 15:46

Urgh Bunch, I feel for you! It's always really difficult for nurses to take my blood as I literally have no veins lol. At my booking appointment this morning, I just told her to go for it and she managed to get a little bit at first but then ended up having to wiggle around the needle until it filled the rest of the bottle. Then repeated for the other two! I'm fine with needles and blood and thought it was really funny. We were all watching the blood literally drip in drop by drop, painfully slowly. I've got the smallest of marks now though to kudos to the midwife for getting anything at all!
