Ick, yes brushing teeth has become an unpleasant experience for me too. I can taste my toothbrush! It definitely never had a taste before. I tried getting a new one and it still has a taste.

I've made a Dr appointment for this afternoon as I had some orange discharge yesterday, like really quite bright orange - anyone had this? At first I thought it was pink and worried it was blood, but its definitely orange - like the colour of Vitamin C tablets. Never had this before. Dr Google tells me it could be an infection, so I thought best get it checked out asap.

SmwarbFirst · 09/03/2016 09:44

So hard to keep up with all these different threads going on. Hey guys. I'm 8 weeks and 4 days with my first - for the past two days I've had some stitch like Pains down both my sides which comes and goes. I've done a little read up and it says it sounds like stretching pains as these occur between 8-12 weeks. Just wondering if anyone else as had any or if I should be worried ?

fairgroundsnack · 09/03/2016 09:57

Hi everyone
Checking in - haven't posted for a while! I seem to have fallen off the list too.
Age: 36
EDD: 20 October
DC#3
7+6

I had an early scan a couple of weeks ago, when I thought I was 7 weeks but turned out to be 6 weeks, so EDD moved back a week! I've booked in for Harmony at the FMC which means I will get a scan when I go in for that, on Tue after Easter, then have my NHS scan on 4 April, then another FMC scan on 12 April! Also have my booking appointment next Thursday.

Starting to feel a bit more real now which is scary! Just eaten half a pack of choc digestives too, oooops....

gingerpiggy · 09/03/2016 10:46

Hi ladies,

Been following this thread for a while now and finally feel brave enough to join in. So here's me...

Age - 32
EDD - 24th October - #1
Status - 7+2

Enjoying the new and scariness of everything! No sign of a booking in appt yet from the NHS, but hubby's Polish, so we're going over there to get an early scan in a week and a bit - 3D and only £50 - bargain! He'll have to translate, so here's hoping there's nothing complicated.

Since returning from Florida I've dropped off the thread a bit. Glad to report I didn't knowingly get bitten by a mozzie.

Had to tell my boss who was audibly disappointed and eventually said 'I suppose I should say congratulations' 😑

Had my booking in which lasted 1hr 45!!!! Don't remember it lasting that looks ng first time around but was perhaps slightly more excited first time.

Saw some mucusy pinky blood last week but the epu said I'd need to make an apt with my doctor which is such a chore I've managed to put it to the back of my head.

Excited for my scan on the 21st!

Shropitlikeitshot · 09/03/2016 12:01

*long!!!!

Figgygal · 09/03/2016 13:39

Gosh Shrop your boss is a charmer!! I am very worried about telling my boss we lose one member of our team in a couple of weeks due to redundancy and I will be telling her I am pg the week after (assuming scan is all fine obviously).

I have had a few pains recently but only If I stand up too quickly, really low and sharp pains. I had pretty much no symptoms last time round I feel like have had even less this time I don't get light headed if don't eat which definitely did last time. shouldn't moan I know :-)

Alwaysinahurrynow · 09/03/2016 15:38

Know this was a page back, but what was the actual reason for no decaffeinated products? I've not heard this through two previous pregnancies and b'feeding for six months each time. Or is this a bit like aspartame in diet drinks? I haven't really drunk caffeine apart from a daily Diet Coke for about 10plus years and never heard anything about it being bad for you whether pregnant or not.

Bluecarrot · 09/03/2016 17:05

I know this was talked about before but I can't find its- what apps are you guys using? Recall one being talked about that had nutritional advice? Began with O maybe?
My daughters account is linked to mine so if either of us download an app it appears on the other ones device and we only told her at the weekend. Now I'm free to download at will!

goldenpineapple · 09/03/2016 17:24

Blue I use Ovia Pregnancy (that'll be the 'O' - it has a list of foods you can and can't eat) and also Pregnancy+. Both are good in different ways!

I'm going to the EPU tomorrow for a scan as the doctor thought my orangey discharge could be blood mixed with mucus, so going to check it out to be the on the safe side. I'll be 8+3 tomorrow. Please keep fingers, toes etc crossed for me that everything is OK. Slightly scared.

Bluecarrot · 09/03/2016 18:12

Yikes golden. I have the same thing but put it down to thrush (treating with thrush cream)
Have had bleeds in previous pregnancies too, and need anti-d. Bugger.

Bluecarrot · 09/03/2016 18:13

And thanks for the app recommendations!

Jubaloo442 · 09/03/2016 18:14

8 weeks - 1 day. Sick as a dog. All I want is cauli cheese. John Lewis had a good sale on big drapey dresses which is all I feel like wearing. Also had to buy comfy knickers. Quite ragey this week. Booking in 24th mar, due Oct 20?

climbingcheesecake · 09/03/2016 18:14

buttons + anyone else that is interested! you can get water-decaffinated coffee.. I am not sure about Tea. So it has no chemicals at all.

I used to buy a brand called Taylors, but there are probably others... and for Tea, I actually just googled to see if there is a Tea brand, but it seems Clipper use a process without chemicals too :-)

BigPigLittlePig · 09/03/2016 18:45

Just ate my body weight in smarties and now feel really sick.

Fc for scan tomorrow pineapple.

Jubaloo442 · 09/03/2016 18:46

There's also a kind of decaf that's done without chemicals? Think it's done by the Swiss method? Not sure of brands etc.

Jubaloo442 · 09/03/2016 18:47

Sorry, decaf coffee I meant.

TaffetaMuttonfudge · 09/03/2016 19:02

Hi,

Can you please add me, I never seem to be on the list!

I gave dh a hug today and he said he could feel a bump between us I look rounder already I don't know if I'll make it to end of month without people twigging. I am sure I read something today that said my uterus is the size of a grapefruit if that's true no wonder I'm showing.

leoniethelioness · 09/03/2016 19:49

I feel like I'm showing too but I'm only 11 weeks... Hmm

OP posts:
Bluecarrot · 09/03/2016 20:00

When I need the loo I can feel the womb. ( did freak me out that it seemed to appear overnight. Then I cottoned on!)

TheCake · 09/03/2016 20:02

I'm 11 weeks too and I can feel a bump just above my pubic bone which I'm guessing is my uterus.

DisneyDiva87 · 09/03/2016 20:18

Is it maybe because most decaf products don't have the caffeine removed but just have something added to counteract the effects of caffeine? (This is what I've heard, I've no idea if that is actually true)

If I remember I'll update the list in work tomorrow where it is so much easier with 3 large screens to assist me

Shropitlikeitshot · 09/03/2016 20:38

I swear I can feel it move occasionally😬?!??
