Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

I am not a fan of lucozade either Sock. Hopefully you aren't there much longer.

Hormones are horrible Cats and once you lose the naïveté you pregnancy, I think it is naturally a stressful time anyway. I often still have period-like cramps rather than expanding cramps and I honestly do think that is normal. In my experience, and of course we are all different which doesn't help matters, it is when the cramps don't go away that there could be a problem. At the moment I am doing well at pretending to myself that everything is fine and, unless I find out otherwise, today I am pregnant and all the weird cramps, twinges and pains are completely normal.

YogaPants · 01/04/2016 11:22

Tri hope you and C are feeling better today. Are you able to get any extra help on expressing or any other bf questions you may have at the hospital?

5hell congrats! He's gorgeous. I had the same bruising from forceps on my checks when I was born and am none the worse for it.

Ga you are certainly keeping true to the just shagging spirit! Those are strong lines.

Mer yay, for reaching first viability milestone. Now that I am in third trimester, I am keeping true to Honey's timeline of pregnancy anxiety and frequently worrying about a premature birth. I think bump has been told "we are very excited to meet you but please stay in there another six weeks or so" more than anything else this week.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 01/04/2016 11:30

He is beautiful 5hell many congratulations 💖🌹💖🐣🎉

ga way to out-JS all of us by literally not even trying! Amazing work! The cross ginger and J3 will be excellent older siblings!

canters have you asked to be tested for thyroid antibodies as well? That will tell you if your thyroid is in decline because of autoimmune factors and may strengthen your case if you want to ask be treated with a low dose of thyroxine. I have Hashimoto's Disease and take a drug called Armour Thyroid on a private prescription but have just had a healthy pregnancy and very healthy baby. Definitely at the very least remind them to check you after baby is born as this is the time when it is most likely for your levels to shift.

gaggiagirl · 01/04/2016 13:03

Thanks all!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 01/04/2016 15:10

sock am I correct in deducing that since it is GTT day that it is also your birthday?! Happy birthday 🎂💖🎉

5hell · 01/04/2016 15:42

Fanjo OK at the moment, although had episiotomy & tears & hence stitches. Looks like we're going to be discharged today :)
...so who's next??

Way to steal my birth announcement thunder ga! Wink congratulations!!!!!

SockQueen · 01/04/2016 15:42

Fraid not Sky but thanks for the thought! It got brought forward because my random glucose level on booking bloods was slightly high. My birthday's not till June, but now fortunately blood test/starvation-free!

FeatheredTail · 01/04/2016 17:16

I think this makes Ga the all time JSing legend. Big congrats Ga!

5hell he is JUST GORGEOUS. Huge huge congrats to you. Hope you're recovering well and getting some rest. Hopefully the grad grads will be able to advise on recovering after forcep delivery and recovery. Well done and enjoy the snuggles.

FuzzyOwl · 01/04/2016 18:33

Glad your birthday will be starvation and test free Sock.

gaggiagirllegend I think you need a name change! Grin

lildottie · 01/04/2016 22:56

Hi all

sock hope GTT was OK for you. Syruppy drink wasn't as bad as I expected. Was so bored waiting though! I can ring for my results on Monday.

Canter's what sky is saying about thyroid anti bodies - after my mc I was tested for anti rhiroid antibodies as part of a clinical trial researching it as a reason for mc. Dont think it's completed yet so no data, but could definitely be worth getting tested.

CarrotPuff · 01/04/2016 23:16

Congrats Ga! ^^

YouBastardSockBalls · 02/04/2016 07:08

Hello! I fell off the fred a few weeks ago but just checking in again!

Had 20 week scan yesterday, all well and baby is a girl. Was convinced it was a boy and kept asking her to check again 😂

Discofairypants · 02/04/2016 08:14

Congratulations 5hell he's a beauty!

Congrats ga!

pee I hope your hubs starts to get his anxiety under control soon, it can be so consuming. Once you start down a negative thought process, it's really difficult to not let it fester. Talking it through will help. As much as I agree it's unfair on you, I also think it's a positive thing that he's able to be open and be honest about his feelings. The thing with anxiety is often the thoughts/feelings are unfounded when the 'event' happens iyswim. I'm sure once baby arrives, he will feel completely different. When preg with dd, my DH seemed very uninterested and never once said that he was excited(think a lot is to do with other blokes being generally quite negative about the whole thing!) we argued a lot when I was pregnant last time too. But honestly, once she was here he was completely in awe of her and became a total rock for me. This time, he's even less focussed on baby but has admitted he's not excited as it doesn't feel real yet .... It will soon haha! I think it's very common and very different to the picture we have in our heads of what it will be like.

Nothing exciting to report here, fortunately. Last 2 weeks of work countdown have officially begun! Think we best actually start preparing for baby's arrival at some point?!

Off up north to visit family at 36 weeks so will be taking hospital bag and notes etc, just in case. If it's going to come early it's bound to be then!

Discofairypants · 02/04/2016 08:15

Congrats on girlbee yb

Mermaid36 · 02/04/2016 09:49

yb Huzzah for more Girlbees! Grin

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/04/2016 10:46

Congrats yb we have 3 girls and they are wonderful 💖

FuzzyOwl · 02/04/2016 11:12

I have a DD and she is awesome!

FuzzyOwl · 02/04/2016 12:34

I have my scan date through and just over three weeks to wait. Still predominantly symptom-less but no bad ones either and I am sure it was fairly similar last time with DD so am being optimistic today.

TriJo · 02/04/2016 15:43

Had a bit more help from the breastfeeding peer supporters here this morning and C has been feeding like a trooper. We're going home this evening, I am so relieved. Poor little guy has had a rough start!

TriJo · 02/04/2016 15:45

Bonus naptime at 5 days :)

We've got newbies to cheer us on, the February Warm-Up is complete, after waiting nine long months it's only bloody time for March Madness! Welcome to JS thread no. 46!
ChatEnOeuf · 02/04/2016 18:19

Looking good Tri, onwards and homewards.

Any volunteers for the next Fred? Who is top of the stats?

FuzzyOwl · 02/04/2016 18:24

Lovely picture Tri.

Not me Chat although I have just peeked at the stats and see that we seem to have an imminent cluster of births, followed by a few in July and then it is all of us new grads!

corgi88 · 02/04/2016 18:48
