Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

CountryGal4 · 01/04/2016 04:02

Ga you tinker! Congrats! Excited? Terrified??

gaggiagirl · 01/04/2016 04:13

Country both! We are both excited mainly though. I love new babies. Which is convenient 😃

Catscatsandmorecats · 01/04/2016 06:43

5hell he is gorgeous! Massive congratulations, you must be shattered, well done getting through and producing such a brilliant little boy.

Ga congratulations, very impressive work whilst still bfing.

Kate thank you. I think having the midwife be so concerned about me really freaked me out. This is pregnancy number 5 with only one having been successful so far so I am not surprised I'm a bit wobbly, although the absolute terror and panic is a new one, I should be used to the wobbles by now. Anyway, as always in the cold light of day I am calmer.

ChatEnOeuf · 01/04/2016 06:45

Congrats 5hell! Lovely pic too. Hope your fanjo's recovering. Prune juice and lots of water, don't hold it in.

Welcome Ga :)

lildottie · 01/04/2016 07:30

Congratulations 5hell! Poor little thing is a bit bruised! Glad you are both safe and well though.

GA congratulations you minx! Impressive work. What made you test?

GTT this morning. I'm hungry :(

Mermaid36 · 01/04/2016 08:05

5hell congratulations! What a gorgeous little boy! Grin hope you are both ok

ga congratulations on the positive test!

NFMW - got to 24wks yesterday - first viability milestone! Woop! Twins now kicking the crap out of me on a very regular basis. Scan on Monday - be very interesting to see what positions they are in for the pressure/kicks I'm getting...

Canters15 · 01/04/2016 08:09

Congrats 5shell! Rotational forceps is one of my fears...very well done you. Beautiful baby.

Congrats ga !

cats I have had a lot of very period cramps from 5 weeks onwards. Now 6+4, I hope to god it's normal.

lildottie · 01/04/2016 08:37

chat is Ain still about on undergrads? can't be bothered to go back pages and pages on there

fruitlovingmonkey · 01/04/2016 08:45

Congratulations Shell, he is lovely. Hope your fanjo is ok!
tries not to google rotational forceps
Ga you sly dog! Welcome back and congrats.
Mer your pregnancy seems to be flying by, for me anyway! Not long to go now.
Your SIL sounds lovely Feathered, do you want to swap? I'd take young and a little immature over my grumpy old mare! DH is generally on my side but has the attitude that she's just like that, rather than calling her out on it. He's also very good at zoning out family shiz.
36 weeks here now. Slightly concerned that we haven't done any birth/ baby courses. I really hope it comes naturally. Must get reading my birth book.

justtheonethen · 01/04/2016 09:46

5hell congratulations he's gorgeous! Star

ga you minx! Congratulations! queue jumper Wink

Peenut · 01/04/2016 09:48

Stealth pregnancy Ga! Good work and congrats on bambino number 3.

Meant to say welcome to other BFP newbies too.

I hope the midwife hasn't freak you out too much Cats. Don't worry and the symptoms you've got can be normal, everyone's different and fingers crossed for you. It's a very stressful time, but like you say daytime worry can be less than in the middle of the night so try to relax.

Good work on doing a baby 5hell! We went from good bye mucus plug to baby! What a cutie!! I'm wincing at the term 'rotational forceps' but I'm sure you will tell us more about that in time. Hope you are recovering well and enjoying your little present.

corgi88 · 01/04/2016 09:49

congrats 5hell! well done you. Poor little bub with his bruises - they'll go down soon; he's beautiful already though :) hope your fanjo is OK after rotational forceps! I've seen a fair few of those....

congrats ga! excellent js'ing work!

Had my thyroid checked again - TSH is finally 0.3 - hurrah! possibly slightly overtreated, I might go back down to 100mcg from the 125mcg that I put myself up to but so glad it's finally behaving, bit of a weight off my shoulders.

See the mw on Sunday of all days when I'm 10 weeks, might try and wangle an early scan or at least an early booking scan at 11 weeks so I won't have too long to wait and torture myself with lack of symptoms

kate thanks for the message, exactly how I feel! haha! cats am here for handholding, I too have had periody cramps the whole way through. Have decided that as long as not spotting they are growth cramps and there is no point stressing out. ~zen waves~
lil I haven't seen ain for a little while. hope she is OK

CountryGal4 · 01/04/2016 10:01

5hell you hero. Congrats he's a beaut!

CountryGal4 · 01/04/2016 10:01

Lil I think ain might be lurking?

Canters15 · 01/04/2016 10:16

Yay for thyroid corgi . can I ask your opinion on something? I had medication induced hypothyroidism in my teens, which ceased after the offending mediation was stopped. I last had tfts done 3 years ago and had a tsh of about 4.7ish. Since discovering that tsh should be under 2 for optimal preg outcome I am a little worried. I know I will get bloods at booking, but I don't have an appointment yet- is it worth trying to get tsh done earlier by my GP next week? Or am I being overly paranoid? I have lost all perspective when it comes to my own health but I think I would probably agree to do it if a patient came to see me with a similar story....

corgi88 · 01/04/2016 10:23

canters yes go and get them done pronto. I really should have had mine done before TTC, because I did have my thyroid nuked to shit when I had lymphoma. Naughty.
I'm still annoyed that I didn't increase my thyroxine as soon as I found out I was pg, because the demands on the thyroid increase in the first 4-6 weeks apparently - after 14-16 weeks baby makes its own thyroxine. I think. I know mc is really common and there are probably a hundred reasons why I had the mc at Christmas but I'm pinning it all on my thyroid as that keeps me saner than worrying about my bicornuate uterus that I can't really fix :D

FuzzyOwl · 01/04/2016 10:36

Congratulations 5 and what a beauty! I hope you are both recovering well.

Ga congratulations as well.

Thanks Cats and I seem to live about an hour or so from any BabyBond place which is ok but because I really want my DH to come with me, it limits when we can make an appointment and we also have a holiday coming up. I really hope your scan goes well and try to see it as good that the midwife is being so cautious. How many weeks are you now?

I don't like all this talk of thyroid problems. Should I be getting mine checked? I only have half and it is supposed to do the job without requiring any medication but I haven't had any blood tests to check this for a long time.

SockQueen · 01/04/2016 10:48

Canters they wouldn't routinely check TSH in booking bloods, so definitely ask your GP if worried.

Huge congratulations 5hell! He's lovely. Hope your bits aren't too battered.

Congrats and welcome back ga. You're going to have your hands full!

Currently sitting waiting for second half of GTT. I don't think I'd ever had normal (non-sport) lucozade before - it's vile!

Catscatsandmorecats · 01/04/2016 10:50

Thanks Canters - I am all over the place, daft idiot I am!

Corgi great news on your thyroid, hooray!

Fuzzy thanks, I hope you are able to get something booked to ease your nerves but I understand the logistics issues - and the need for DH to be there. I'm only 5+4, I'm hoping I'll calm down again soon, who'd have imagined crazy hormones would cause bonkersness, eh?

Canters15 · 01/04/2016 11:06

Thanks corgi and sock. I will try and get something sorted next week- I'm cold all the time now too so it is a concern. I was about to go to gp as thought thyroid may be reason i wasn't preg, but no sooner had I decided that then I got my bfp!

corgi it may have been neither of those things and just awful shit luck. Flowers When's your scan?
