Due in September 2007 - anyone else out there? What happens next?

OK, so I have the positive pregnancy testS! - we have told one person, are agonising about who else to tell when, we have bought two books on pregnancy.

But what happens next? Do I just phone the doctor tommorow to make an appointment, should I wait a couple of weeks? Then what happens?

Total newbie to this, no idea what I am doing at all!

Hi everyone, hope you are feeling better Laska. Glad to hear the appointments are coming in now mostly - keep chasing those of you who are still waiting.

I am actually feeling slightly better today thank goodness but really tired. I seem to have a cold also which does not help. Still, I am enjoying the break from the vomiting and nausea. Have to work two nights next week and not sure how I will do it.

Did you all have snow this week? We didn't have any - just boring old rain. At least we didn't get snowed in I suppose but it is so pretty.

lovelylou · 10/02/2007 13:03

Hi everyone. Second child due sep 28th. First Midwife appointment 22nd Feb. Looking forward to it cos it might start to feel real then. Got no nausea or anything really just like last time. Really excited for scan, might start to feel less nervous then.
Love mumsnet, it means i can talk to you lovely ladies rather than bore all my friends to tears with pregnancy talk

lovelylou · 10/02/2007 13:05

Sorry ladies missed some details. I am 26 and my daughter is 22 months.

TOD · 10/02/2007 13:44

Hi all have'nt checked in for a while...hope ye are all coping well!!!
As for me I have good days and bad days, on the bad days i'm sick and miserable and on the good days i'm worried something is wrong.....never happy!! Poor DH must be sick of me but he is'nt showing it yet...being very kind and patient so then I feel a little guilty for being so miserable all the time..as i said no one can please me at the moment ..I'm blaming it all on hormones!!!!!
I am nine weeks today and behind all the misery I am very excited and cant wait to have a bump again. The last time I sailed through from 13 weeks on so hoping the same will happen this time!!
Can anyone tell me how to add myself to the list...am not very nifty with these things!!!

Mrsdoubleyou · 11/02/2007 06:27

Hi everyone

Had my first scan yesterday and they've given me 17th Sept as my due date. 8 weeks 6 days
A bit of a surprise as I went in to confirm a m/c. Have spent last 3 weeks in depression as bleeding and fading symptoms of PG.

Still bleeding and obsessing but all seems well (fingers-crossed).

Hello to everyone and good luck.

TeeCee · 11/02/2007 09:27

Hi ladies I wodered actually if we should start a new thread. i may be out of line but I wondered how Angua might feel every time she sees a thread title she started come up in active convos and sadly is now no longer properly involved in. There are other mums that are in her position, do you think it might be better to start a new thread???

If you agree, I'll start one and post link to it here?

NEW THREAD

SheRaPOP · 11/02/2007 12:02

Hi everyone, I have been very quiet for some time but love keeping up on how you are all doing. I went and had a viability scan at St George's earlier in the week, as I'm having a costume made (am an opera singer) and I wanted to have a scan confirmation of the pregnancy before I told them to make it roomy! I was very relieved to see a little heartbeat and they even gave me a photo to show my husband. For anyone who is in London, this walk in service is a wonderful thing to have and the staff were really fantastic and supportive.

TeeCee I agree a new thread is a good idea, but I'm just wondering whether we should call it something like "Due in Sept 2007 - Part 2" because I know from having read other threads it makes it easier to find them having the year in there too? Or what about "Sept 2007 kidney beans - part 2"?

Hello to all the new ladies who have joined as well

TeeCee · 11/02/2007 14:24

I can't rename it now it's done but agree the next thread will be Sept blah de blah part 3.

It's already started with people chatting on it now and will always be the one nearest the top of the list.

SheRaPOP · 11/02/2007 21:47

of course, no probs!

Hello there, I'm a bit confused about the two "due in september" threads, so I thought I'd add myself in here too!

I'm 36, due on 21st sept, living in London, having the baby at St Georges like Canadianmum (hi there, my sister was on the yellow team for both her girls - I don't have my booking in appt yet) this is my first pregnancy....

Hello Canadianmum, I seem to remember you're having your baby at St George's in Tooting and you posted the other day saying you're on the yellow team. I've just found out I'm on the yellow team too so maybe we'll bump in to each other at antenatal appts! Bizarrely my sister was with the yellow team for both of hers, I think they're lying when they say there are other teams! ;)

EdieMcredie · 22/02/2007 13:37

Another thread was started becuase of some people's pg's coming to an end...

sparks02 · 24/02/2007 10:17

Hello everyone

Congratulations!

I would like to add myself to this thread but not sure how...
I am due 1st Sep, 25, married and live in London.

Anyone else living in London get in touch and maybe we can meet up for a coffee and a chat at some stage.

minniethemouse · 27/02/2007 14:52

Hi Sparks02

I am also live in London (west). My due date is quite close to you too (from 3 Sept to 13 Sept - i have the date from GP and midwife which has 10 days different). May be we can meet up?
