Well I've been reading most of the day and watching ds be a funny kid. I think that's all there is in this life.

LupinsBigLump · 06/01/2007 08:07

OHHHHH I AM SOOO TIRED, dp came to bad and woke me up shuffling around, so was awake at 4, couldnt go back to sleep bloody pregnancy insomnia, decided to try again at 6 couldnt sleep tossing and turning trying to get bump and boobs in right place, then dd came in at 7, oh well kitchen is tidy, and living room just needs a hoover, will defianatly be going back to bed when dp gets up

Hope ev1 is ok

twelveyeargap · 06/01/2007 09:45

Morning Lupins. I actually managed more or less a full night's kip. I can't believe it. DH couldn't sleep this time so he shuffled around a bit, but didn't really wake me until he started doing the washing up at about 7.30 this morning. Since he was doing something useful, I decided not to mind and went back to sleep for a bit!

twelveyeargap · 06/01/2007 09:52

Oh Lupis, someone - might have been Creena - got a Dream Genii pillow for pregnancy and said it was great for helping you to get comfy. I'm going to order one as soon as I move. (Joy of moving being you can never be sure when things will arrives, so you have to wait!)

LupinsBigLump · 06/01/2007 09:52

Well done 12 may it continue (tho i doubt it) - wow your dh washes up, mine refuses says it hurts his back grrrr, have a good day

aprilmeadow · 06/01/2007 10:03

Good morning

It has taken me over half an hour to catch up with you lovely gas bags

Been fairly busy at work this week and havent been able to post for some reason By the time i am back at home, got J into bed adn had dinner i am just about ready to pass out!

Trousers - have been fairly lucky with the ones i have. 2 pairs of jeans from Next (could do with being a fraction longer) and about 3 pairs of work trousers from New Look (they are perfect in length) and some combats also from New Look. They are all under the bump and are fairly comfortable, just depends if i am leaning forward for a long period of time. Got a nice comfy skirt from M&P the other day and also have one from Pumpkin patch, although that one is a tad to big and has to have a belt worn woth it at the mo. I have bought 95% of all my mat clothes as new this time as the stuff i bought for ds pregnancy was cheap and bad fitting. I am 5ft 5 so an average height.

Baby is moving loads now and i am sure that she is practicing her double leg kicks and somersaults! Not due another mw appt til 8th Feb - seems ages away. Thinking it was a waste of time buying some new bigger size bras 2 weeks ago as i think they will be too small soon! Surely they cant get too much bigger as they are now the same size as they were when my milk came in!

LG&T my dh wants to know if you run classes on being a domestic godess as he feels that i need some help after telling him how much house work and cooking you do!

Right best be off as my friend is coming round in half an hour and i still need to get in the shower!

TTFN x

In an 8yr relationship I have washed up a handful of times! DH seems to enjoy it and I don't want to deprive him...

Morning all. Well, so far today I have put some washing on, tidied a bit (read 'piled some things') and got some boxes out of the garage to put Christmas decorations in. I appear to have gravitated towards MN though. Must feed cats, take down decorations and eat toast.

Great news on the full night's sleep twelve! DH and I both woke up this morning having dreamt (only word in the English language to end in -mt... today's random fact) that we had a huge row. Odd because we don't row. He even dreamt (run out of facts about the word dreamt) he'd thrown his wedding ring at me. I'm sure it's not an omen, but I was freaked out.

Anyway, must do something constructive...

Happy weekends all!

I didn't have any more midwife appointments until I got home yesterday and DH announced that he had rung and made one for me on January 24th. At least he's showing an interest...

OOH, spooky when that happens with the tandem dreams. Happened once with DH and I. Both had a dream the same night that our marriage was void due to some admin error. Very, very odd! And we both woke at the same time, almost in tears. Weeeiirrddd, isn't it?

ShowOfHands · 06/01/2007 10:14

Decidedly odd and leaves you with a funny feeling for the rest of the day. Going to be extra-nice to DH to compensate.

When do stretch marks usually appear in pregnancy? Anybody know? I'm usually a size 10 and during puberty when I developed hips I got stretch marks on my thighs and all through very minimal stretching. Bump is growing by the day and no stretch marks at all. Are they going to invade one night without warning?

Morning all, there was me thinking there wouldnt be that many posts to catch up on since yesterday as its still fairly early in the day and i find you lot have been up for ages (puts me to shame i only got out of bed 30mins ago!!) Dh has gone to work, ds1 is back on his DS and ds2 is still asleep (since being ill he has slept in almost every day)so its nice and quiet. I had planned on going shopping but the weather is poo and ive now decided that it would be better to stay in and sit in front of the computer for as long as the ds's let me (although i suppose i should get dressed soon, before someone knocks the door)

On the subject of sleep i think i had a good nights sleep but i still woke up knackered and feeling as though id only just gone to bed. Last night was the first night in ages i didnt have to keep getting up to go to the loo

Only 4 months to go and we will all be on here moaning that we are all huge and impatient to meet our little ones (except those lucky ones whose little darlings arrive early or on time)It doesnt seem that long ago that we all came on here to announce our BFP's. In a way its quite scary, when i think in weeks it seems i have ages to go but 4months sounds nothing especially as in that time i have so many birthdays and anniversaries etc that the first half of the year always seems to fly by.

Frenchsmallfry · 06/01/2007 10:52

Morning, just reorting for duty.

Frenchsmallfry · 06/01/2007 10:54

reporting even;

Sorry about the French 12weeks, it does get to you after a while of living here.

MKG · 06/01/2007 12:48

MOrning all,

SOH with ds I didn't have any stretch marks and didn't think I was going to get any until the end of the 6th month when I woke up with a road map on my belly.

Frenchsmallfry · 06/01/2007 12:57

Very quiet on here today?

HELLO, HELLO, HELLO, Oh there's even an echo..........................

Oh yes of course it's Saturday, those of you in the UK have a life on a Saturday, I forgot. Nothing to do here whatever day of the week, unless it's summer of course, roll on the summer..............................
Oh can't wait, pool, sun, pims, bbq's, warmpth, Ohhh yes and a new baby too, ahhhhhhhhhh.

sleepless nights, sore boobs, jelly belly wobble, puke, pooh, more nappies, oh the list goes on.

MKG · 06/01/2007 12:59

Hey I'm here. It's gray and hot out and I don't want to leave the house for anything.

LupinsBigLump · 06/01/2007 14:17

Well, dp told me to get myself off to bed - unfortuatly I was unable to sleep, dd was being soo noisy and kept coming in the room - then he was moaning at her saying she should let me sleep, then the dog came in pointlesss bloomin pointless, am still tired and now i need to go out in the rain as the bread didnt rise and have no more yeast for any more grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, always when u least need it isnt it, why isnt it sunny at least

Looking forward to summer so much, ah picnics in the park with dd and baby, pool back up in the garden and a not stuck indoors daughter

I got stretch marks like fire when i was about 6 months with dd, have just started using bio oil this time - hopefully it will help - i am not carrying as much weight as i was with her either

Really fancy a nice meal today - just dont want to cook it

Baby is definatly kicking loads more, they had been quite low but i got a few right up by my bellybutton last few days

OOOOOHHHH dd says she wants to go to bed, time to try again for some sleep - I bet come bed time i will be overtired and spend my time up and down to the loo - oh the joys of pregnancy - dont get me wrong dare i say i am actually enjoying it this time, well since wk 14

Frenchsmallfry · 06/01/2007 14:31

Hot? I'm a bit thick I know, but why is it hot, how hot?

Frenchsmallfry · 06/01/2007 14:57

Lupins can I ask you, does Willow get shortened to anything?

We both really like it, but this morning I mentioned it to ds (4), he giggled and said yes mummy I like it, then I can call her Willy weirdo!!!!!!!!! Great4 yr old mind. Probably doesn't help that I'm always telling him he's a weirdo, he'd probably forget it just as quick. IYKWIM

Frenchsmallfry · 06/01/2007 14:59

Must add though, that dd name is Maddie and at the moment he likes to call her Moosey Maddie. He is trouble!

MKG · 06/01/2007 15:05

It's between 60 and 65 degrees F today. This never happens in January. We haven't seen any snow yet. It feels like spring.

Frenchsmallfry · 06/01/2007 15:08

Wow, lovely MKG. Just a crap drizzle here at the moment. Having a bit of SADS to day, I think, I'm always happier when the sun is out.

aprilmeadow · 06/01/2007 15:10

I REALLY like the name Willow. But we have settled on Ella as it is one that DH likes as well.

Was like this with DS he was going to be William or George then finally settled on Jack.

I wish i didnt have the urge to find a name ASAP and actually take time to mull over my options!

Just making a batch of fairy cakes in my new flexible cake tray. Very excited

MKG · 06/01/2007 15:39

Hey everyone I finished my birthplan and hospital bag list the other day. I know it's early, but if this pregnancy is anything like with ds I will soon forget so if make lists so I won't forget.

aprilmeadow · 06/01/2007 15:49

Wow you've done a birth plan already! I dont think i even got round to it with my 1st pgcy let alone a 2nd one.

I think mine will be a 'go with the flow' one. Nice and easy and able to stick to it
