We're having babies this year!

I also love Tilda so I think if Bean is of the pink variety she will probably end up being Tilda most of the time.

Matilda Lilian...

Frenchsmallfry · 04/01/2007 17:02

Mattie is nice too. I like Hattie but it's normaly shortened from Harriett, I can't really have a Harrison and a Harriett.

cinnamontam · 04/01/2007 17:02

Ummmmm - I'm Australian and our unoffical National Anthem is 'Waltzing Matilda'...does that help?

cinnamontam · 04/01/2007 17:03

Tell you what - I'll put a silent 'q' in it so it's not quite the same

Matilqda

Frenchsmallfry · 04/01/2007 17:04

lol, cinnamontam.

largeginandtonic · 04/01/2007 17:05

Am going to make the tea, the troops are getting restless, Hugs keep covering Jonah up with his Tomy aqua draw mat, it's only a matter of time before it ends in tears (mine probably)

Did i mention dh is getting home for the weekend? His friend is coming back to portsmouth so can give hima lift...i may have to dig the shaver out....amazing how much can grow in a week

MKG · 04/01/2007 17:05

If this bean is a girl I want to call her Danica, dh said last night that we agreed that if I picked for ds than he would pick for this one (mainly because he has terrible names in his family and likes all the bad ones).

I have conveniently forgotten that, and told him that when he wakes up with the ability to carry and give birth to a baby that he can choose until then, I call the shots.

twelveweekstomaternityleave · 04/01/2007 17:05

Hmm, not sure about Digby, actually... I'd have to think about. I think it's because I thought "Rising Damp", though that was Rigsby wasn't it? I'm obv being thick.

I like Monty. Like Monty Donn. I wonder is he just Monty or something longer? Monty is fine just on it's own.

FSF - the virtuosity won't last, I can assure you. And I was already porky before I got up the duff.

largeginandtonic · 04/01/2007 17:06

FSF i love Arietti (sp?) from the borrowers. You could shorten that very cutely and it sounds pretty said in French too.

Right am really going now xxxx

cinnamontam · 04/01/2007 17:07

I know what you mean LGT - I keep meaning to do something about the bikini line (that goes halfway down my thigh) before the belly gets completely in the way - but I just can't be assed.

twelveweekstomaternityleave · 04/01/2007 17:07

Well yes, MKG. And I suppose there's always the "you're in the middle of labour, DH will you anything you ask for as you're in so much pain" thing that you can use on him.

cinnamontam · 04/01/2007 17:08

Danica is lovely - i knew a Danica too and she was fab!

Frenchsmallfry · 04/01/2007 17:08

Good idea lg&t.

Maybe thats the reason my 2 are bitting my ankles, tea time, and I'm an hour ahead of you, must go and cook......

drag, drag, drag away!!

largeginandtonic · 04/01/2007 17:09

12weeks please like it...or i wont use it...in years to come i dont want you sniggering while on adrunken night out together at my sons name.....

Frenchsmallfry · 04/01/2007 17:10

Arietti. Umm I quite like that, very close to Hattie, and yes it does sound French, which is usually a test for the midwifes on birth. I'll try that one out on dh.

Mee tooooo GONE!

largeginandtonic · 04/01/2007 17:11

Goodbye xxx im off...really i am....mash potato, fishfingers and broccoli tonight...

cinnamontam · 04/01/2007 17:11

I used to work in a ticketing call centre and we got some good laughs out of some of the names that came through on the credit card slips. The best one that I still can't quite believe was real was... Adolph Gentile!

twelveweekstomaternityleave · 04/01/2007 17:12

I don't NOT like it and I definitely wouldn't snigger at it.

Someone I know just called her baby Kiki Lee... It just makes me want to sing, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" over and over again.

Frenchsmallfry · 04/01/2007 17:12

Chilli con-carne here.

Frenchsmallfry · 04/01/2007 17:13

Actually I think I was cooking that last time we exchanged dinner ideas. oppps, It's not all I cook, promise.

MKG · 04/01/2007 17:13

What should I eat for lunch?

I just called about 3D/4D scans at the doctor and it will cost me $200! I don't think so.

cinnamontam · 04/01/2007 17:14

I'm making Borscht tonight - I have a hankering

MKG · 04/01/2007 17:15

A friend of mine used to work for social services and knew a woman that named her daughter . . . .

Wait for it . .

Vagina!

Apparently she had never heard the word before her pregnancy and thought it sounded beautiful.

twelveweekstomaternityleave · 04/01/2007 17:16

Waaahhaaaaa. Oh my GOD! Vagina?

Oh that poor, poor child. That's awful.

cinnamontam · 04/01/2007 17:18

Oh good god - the poor kid!
