Come one, come all it's the TTC#1 Grads thread! Everyone welcome so long as you're not put off by graphic descriptions of the lunch we couldn't keep down or the weird pregnancy symptoms we just have to share.

Our lovely ladies now span many stages of upduffedness from "woohoo BFP, now let me pee on 58 more sticks just to be sure" to "Oh my god, why don't they warn you what morning sickness is really like?" To" I need to pee 132 times a day but look at my cute scan photo!"

if you're looking for advice, banter and support, along with the occasional scan photo or rant, you are definitely in the right place.

Miley I have the first signs of a bump at 10+3. It's still small but I don't think it will be longer before it's noticable. I don't weigh much and I'm not very tall so I was always expecting to show fairly early. I'm now out of all my high rise jeans and I'm using the hair bobble trick to make my normal ones more comfy.

LittleBelle90 · 20/03/2016 13:44

lisa it does get easier. A couple of weeks ago I was struggling to find anything that tasted nice to eat and I had a constant stale taste in my mouth. I'm now 14 weeks and can eat most things and apart from today, haven't been sick for 2 weeks. I'm having an awful day today, went for a drive and a walk and nearly vomitted in the car on the way home. So now I'm feeling sorry for myself.

miley I've started to show. My jeans are getting too tight to wear and if I wear a tight top, I have a noticeable bump (looks more like severe bloating to me) so currently wearing loose clothing. I didn't think I would show this early but I'm quite small and my BMI was borderline underweight pre-preg.

firstgo1984 · 20/03/2016 17:04

oooops lillian i had some alioli last night

Pinklily1 · 20/03/2016 18:15

Glad all went well Lara! How far on are you now?

The flight home sounds awful Miley, but pleased you had a nice time. Are you feeling any better now compared to before you went?

Shelb - I am a bit addicted to Seraphone. Just about to order some swimwear from there.

We ordered our nursery furniture today. We were going to wait until after 20 weeks but it was on offer, so too good a deal to miss out on. Makes it feel even more real!

Hope everyone has had lovely weekends.

Mileymoocow · 20/03/2016 18:30

pink I felt awful yesterday and am still bad today. I guess I'm going to have says where I'm not so crappy followed by several days of hell! OH has gone to work tonight and I'm feeling sorry for myself and needy Sad

first I had some in dubai because I had no idea what it was! Luckily I'm not a huge fan of it so scraped most of it off my meal. I still feel guilty as hell

BunchOfBobs · 20/03/2016 20:59

Sorry to hear your flight was so hideous Miley. I made the mistake of eating homemade Mayo whilst offshore in the first 7 weeks. Felt so guilty when I realised then quickly got over it as I clearly hadn't contracted salmonella.

I'm utterly bricking it for tomorrow, combined with not feeling Pip move all day, poor child has just been bombarded with ice cold drinks and loud music being played up against my tum. Got one swift kick and now feeling lots of rolls. Sorry Pip.
I think I'm going to have quite a disturbed night sleep as I'm so worried and nervous. I can highly recommend no body googles anomaly scans prior to having theirs.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

firstgo1984 · 20/03/2016 21:03

Question ladies. Has anyone defeated the constipation? Any tips?

Danni89 · 20/03/2016 21:19

Are you finding out the sex bunch. How exciting!! Good luck for tomorrow!

Pinklily1 · 20/03/2016 21:22

Good luck for tomorrow Bunch!!

shelbTa · 20/03/2016 21:33

Good luck tomorrow bunch x

leoniethelioness · 20/03/2016 21:42

Good luck, Bunch!

Please talk to me about when and how to tell work... I cried earlier because I really like my job and I'm so nervous about telling them. BlushSad

Runner05 · 20/03/2016 22:00

First fig rolls saved my life!

Good luck Bunch, you'll be fine. Remember how we were all really nervous coming up to our 12 week scans? it'll be the same this time round, we'll all be scared and then come out the other side wondering what we were worried about Wink

Leonie just bite the bullet and tell them. Most of us have had positive experiences with work. My manager who I thought would be a bit fed up with the timing jumped out of her chair clapping she was so happy for me. It was nice but I felt a bit bemused lol. Most managers do tend to be happy for their employees unless they're complete tits, in which case they can get stuffed Smile

My boss is a notorious tough manager who I was so nervous about telling but he was so sweet and happy for me when I did! You'll be fine

Sodasoda · 20/03/2016 22:10

Evening everyone.

Sunday night blues big time here.

Lots of luck tomorrow bunch. I'm sure I'll be a nervous wreck before mine too.

first - I've had awful constipation. Bit better recently but not sure if that's because of things I did to help or not. But I found fruit smoothies and lots of grapes ok. And when I got really desperate - a hot curry Grin

leonie good luck telling work. I was really nervous too but I got a hug which was lovely. I think most people will be pleased for you or pretend to be. And if they're not then they have to suck it up legally anyway!

miley welcome back from Dubai

Waves to everyone else xx

IrregularCommentary · 21/03/2016 01:38

Branflakes or shreddies are working for me First. Was getting really uncomfortable not being able to go, but a big bowl in the morning is doing the trick.

leoniethelioness · 21/03/2016 06:41

First - Try drinking more water too. This helped me.

leoniethelioness · 21/03/2016 06:46

Also, thank you for the encouragement to tell work. I'm waiting for my screening test results so part of me wants to wait until then to share the news but I'm not sure how that will take... Family was all shocked (and pleased) about the pregnancy so I've concluded I'm not showing as much as I think I am. I'm 13 weeks on Wednesday.

Runner05 · 21/03/2016 06:54

So excited! OHs dad wants to buy the pram I ordered at the weekend as a gift for us Grin
I felt a little awkward when he offered and started blathering on about how we hadn't chosen one that was stupidly expensive and what a good deal it had been etc. he just turned around and said "Don't worry I know YOU always shop around for good deals"... We were at a party at the time and OHs exw's family (who I get on with ok) were present, knowing she likes to spend money like water I'm pretty sure that was a dig. But it's nice to know he trusts me with money Smile
Anyway, yay! Free pram!

Good luck today bunch! 12 week scan for me at 10.30 been up since 5!

Jamjar12 · 21/03/2016 07:19

Good luck bunch and Lauren!! When did you book in your 12 weeks? I'm feeling a little superstitious to book it...

I'm also considering maybe booking an early scan. Did many of you do it? I've got no reason to aside from just wanting to tell our parents a bit earlier with some bit of medical proof!

Jamjar12 · 21/03/2016 07:21

And yay for a free pram runner! Your post has made me really think, whoah, this sht got real- people are actually buying baby stuff! Haha!

LisaTheGreek · 21/03/2016 07:44

Good luck Bunch and Lauren, hope everything goes well for you both!

Runner - that's awesome news! That's so kind of your father-in-law (or technical father-in-law)

Co5mo · 21/03/2016 07:46

MIL has also offered to buy pram ☺ very generous. She's given is a £1000 budget but doubt we'll spend that much. Looking at a baby jogger at the moment. So light and easy to fold.

Jamjar my midwife booked my twelve week scan at my booking appointment. 2 weeks today so will be 12+4.

Blood group arrived in the post this morning. Anti-D injections coming my way 😕

Pinklily1 · 21/03/2016 07:48

Good luck Lauren too!

Jam, my midwife booked my 12 week appointment when I went for my booking in appointment. I was about 6 weeks pg when she booked it.

Jamjar12 · 21/03/2016 07:57

Ok thanks guys! When did you go for your first appointment then? Is it better to make an appointment with the dr early or self refer to a midwife?
