nehagarg I hope you're feeling ok today.

The info on positioning is interesting. I'm pretty sure mine is head down most of the time, though goes to transverse as well quite often as I can feel movement right at each side. Loads of time yet though, fingers crossed he settles head down.

strawberrypenguin · 26/03/2016 09:43

That's an interesting article nehagarg pretty sure wiggler is back to back at the moment but he's such a fidget I'm sure it will change!

Torfhinn · 26/03/2016 10:09

I hope you are feeling better today spock, what a horrible thing for people to do. Writing it down to prices your fronds sounds like a really good idea.

Sorry you've had a nasty experience as well nehagarg. Its so sad that people feel so hopeless.

Congratulations on the engagement laughing! What a lovely surprise Smile

All is quite here, 30 weeks tomorrow! Feels like the home stretch so really need to get my arse in gear and get organised!

Torfhinn · 26/03/2016 10:11

I mean process your feelings, not prices your fronds Grin

Belleboo23 · 26/03/2016 22:11

I seem to still be getting downward kicks which I hate feels like it's against my cervix occasionally I feel them to the right but never had this before which worries me, I know there's plenty of time to turn though.
I'm on the Facebook group but only really post on here, one of the ladies has had her son at 27+5 weighing I think was 800g he looks perfect havnt stopped thinking about it all day

Eastend2015 · 26/03/2016 23:41

Nehagarg what an awful experience and so sad. I'd be exactly the same xx

Eastend2015 · 26/03/2016 23:44

Belle wow, I can't imagine our little one being born now. Bubs has had his/her feet on might right side for ages and it gets rather sore Confused glad to have more movement though!

nehagarg · 27/03/2016 06:00

Glad everyone found the article useful. Smile I feel movement all over the place. Sometimes hiccups are low down, sometimes higher up. He seems to be stretching from my mid sectionto my extreme right at the moment. Always curling towards my back. Guess I'll have to ask the midwife as I have absolutely no clue.

Thanks Eastend. I am in Oxford now and feel better. Do keep thinkingg about the poor guy off and on though.

Belle - someone from our June bus? I hope the baby is okay. Must be so scary for her, the poor thing. I cant imagine mine coming this early.

Belleboo23 · 27/03/2016 08:53

Yes from our June bus, she has said she will stay on Facebook to keep people updated

Spock27 · 27/03/2016 09:46

prices your fronds Grin thanks Torfhinn and everyone, I am feeling much better now. Think I was just in shock and the instinct to protect the bump came out in full force! A day of painting yesterday was very therapeutic. Hope you're feeling ok too nehagarg.

Wow, 27 weeks! I hope they're both doing ok,must be a scary time. I was thinking of joining the FB group actually, how do I do that?

MollieRos · 27/03/2016 10:43

Wow Belle 27 weeks! Hope they're both doing ok. Tell her congratulations, and sending lots of positive thoughts her way for him to keep getting on with growing and getting stronger. Do you know what her name was on here?

sambababy · 27/03/2016 12:18

I hope the baby is doing ok! Did she give any details as to why he was born early, what happened?

spock that's really scary, it's the what ifs that can drive you mad. I'd definitely report it.

nehagarg im so sorry you had to witness that :( how horribly upsetting. Poor guy.

Huge congrats on the engagement laughing!

My spd has gone from bad to worse. I cried out in bed last night trying to turn over and eventually gave up and slept on my back. I have an osteopath appointment this week so I really hope they can help. Big hugs to everyone else who is struggling with this or nausea etc it sucks.

Happy Easter! Easter SmileEaster Shock

laughingGnomette · 27/03/2016 12:52

Mollie - I think her MN name was TattedPixie.

Feeling sooooo tired today. Finding it to hard not to be shouty with DS :(

samba - sorry you're having such a tough time with the SPD. Don't worry yourself about sleeping on your back x

Happy Easter everyone Easter Smile
How the hell are we nearly into April already?! Time is going way too fast...

Belleboo23 · 27/03/2016 12:56

Sambababy there was a problem with the placenta can't remember the name of it but basically baby wasnt getting enough from her so he was born by cs after a stay in hospital

iamdivergent · 27/03/2016 13:00

Spock I'll pm you

GrubbyWindows · 27/03/2016 13:15

Oh I've been thinking lots about tatted!
She had high blood pressure (which I got at the end- and presumably developed into pre-eclampsia if they went for such an early C section) and I had been keeping my fingers crossed for her as she hadn't been on the thread for ages. Also if I remember rightly she was working as a cleaner, so I had been thinking of her with huge admiration as I struggle to keep our house half way clean. All the leaning over!
Anyone on FB (I'm not) please do send her my huge huge best wishes. It sounded like a tough pregnancy back in the first trimester, so the last few weeks must have been really hard going.

nehagarg · 27/03/2016 13:22

Thanks Samba. Hope your spd lets up soon. Sounds horrendous.

I am not on facebook either so please pass on my congratulations and best wishes to tatted too. Hope both her and the baby are doing ok.

I'm not in the FB group other but please pass my love and best wishes to Tatted. Let her know that she's in all of our thoughts.

MindfulBear · 27/03/2016 16:23

Pls pass on best wishes to. tatted.

Feels weird to think I'm now 28 weeks but her baby is out and she didn't make it as far.

I had PE last time but not until 40weeks. Was always paranoid about it last time as my mum had it in all 4 of her pregnancies.

Am taking baby aspirin this time to help guard against it. Usual risk factor is 8% but for someone who has had it before the risk factor is 15% - ie still more likely to be fine than not!!

Belleboo23 · 27/03/2016 18:02

Wasn't pe she says she had a rare blood condition then at a scan they discovered the placenta had looped back on itself so baby wasnt getting enough. His name is Ekko and is so cute, I'm 27+5 today which is the same as he was born hard to believe they look so perfect in there

Spock27 · 27/03/2016 19:30

Thanks divergent :)

GrubbyWindows · 27/03/2016 19:41

That's such bad luck!!! Poor tatted! Welcome to the world Ekko!

mindful snap! I had PE at 40 weeks too, last time. Mine came back when DS was 5 days old, but even so there is only a 25% chance of me getting it again, so I am not worried at all, oddly. I've been having loads of extra appointments with the BP clinic, all of which are totally fine, so it seems pretty under control.

Hey everyone, place marking again as I've been away for quite a while, just moved house so things have been a bit crazy! Really enjoyed catching up on the thread though, we still need to buy most of our stuff so it's been really helpful!

Big hugs to everyone suffering from various symptoms including pgp, I've been awake crying in the night with horrible hip pain, feel like I've tried everything including seeing the physio and nothing is helping. Considering finding an osteopath next! Baby seems to be doing well though, feeling lots of movement and 28 weeks today :-)

Send my best wishes to Tattered and her baby from me as well, it's quite scary to think they could come already! Hope they're both doing well.

AmIseeingRight · 28/03/2016 12:33

hi all

wow the first June baby is here already, I also want to add my best wishes to tatted and her son. I'm 31 weeks and cant imagine my son being here in 9 weeks time.

I wanted to say a big thanks to the person who posted about the sale at Kiddicare 2 weeks ago. We got the Uppababy Vista 2015 on 25% off and a maxi-cosi car seat and I plan to use the carrycot, which is suitable for overnight sleeping, for him to sleep in for the first few months before he moves to his room and into a cot.
