Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Nothing from GD midwives yet so going to assume for now that they're not bovvered with my result. Trying take balanced choices and looking at some low sugar low GI sweet treats recipes to bake and generally thinking positive may have accidentally eaten half a chocolate orange

LOL honey your friend is funny Grin

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 09/02/2016 13:45

PS welcome back disco

carrot making up for it by being very very lazy today

KateBeckett · 09/02/2016 15:38

Still in moving related hell! We have finished painting out living room though - it is tiny but it looks lush Grin

Will rtft soon and catch up on how you are all doing- just wanted to pop my head in and say hi. X

honeysucklejasmine · 09/02/2016 15:51

She has a way with words Sky Wink

Starting to feel uncomfortable today. Think baby is pretty low. Have noticed bump going hard now and then, but nothing else so not sure if its bh or not. Who knows!

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/02/2016 17:29

I bloody love pancake day.

Bacon & maple syrup ones in your nations honour sky

honeysucklejasmine · 09/02/2016 17:49

We had bacon and maple pancakes on the weekend. American style. We're having British lemon and sugar ones tonight. Classic and the best.

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/02/2016 17:53

We had those too this evening at DS tea time.
And ham and cheese because I never turn down a chance to eat cheese.

My weight gain for this last few weeks is going to be disproportionate I reckon.

Mermaid36 · 09/02/2016 18:13

sock YY to patronising leaflets....We had a good laugh at them all and promptly threw them away!

Have been in meetings all afternoon at work about a restructure. My job isn't changing, but my 'big boss' is now 200 miles away from me and my line manager. We have pointed out that we are both preggers and don't really want or can't do regular travel (as in once or twice a month). Thank goodness for only having 4 months left at work!

CarrotPuff · 09/02/2016 18:29

Pancakes for dinner here too.

My spd pain has shifted all to the front. On top of that I've got sciatica in my left hip shooting all the way into my ankle. I think my body is just giving up...

3 days till full term.

5hell · 09/02/2016 18:51

I want pancakes! !!! But won't be home until 9:30 when I'll get reheated stir fry Hmm think dh would consider them too unhealthy these days anyway (virtuous looser of several stone that he is)

Anyone giving anything interesting up for lent? I'm thinking caffeine as I prob shouldn't be having it anyway!

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/02/2016 18:52

No way. I'm well looking forward to starting stuff for not-quite-lent.

Especially booooooooooooze Grin

lildottie · 09/02/2016 19:38

Lol thurs sounds like a good not-quite-lent plan!

honey I had no idea hvs were more qualified than mws, or better paid. Tbh I don't really understand what hvs do! Should probably find out!

sky I'm sure the chocolate orange was at fault!

5hell pancakes aren't unhealthy, the toppings may be though!

I also had nothing but pancakes with lemon and sugar for tea! Mmmmmm

Discofairypants · 09/02/2016 19:41

Eaten my body weight in pancakes today .... Nutella and golden syrup, don't judge me Grin. Bloody lovely!

Thanks sky. Out of interest did you get any symptoms for GD/borderline GD? I don't know if I'm just thinking about things too much, but I'm thirsty a lot and peeing a lot ... But know that's typical of pregnancy too. My diet has been horrendous compared to normal so I wouldn't be surprised if I develop GD.

I had a really lovely Hv last time ..it was actually nice just to have a natter with someone over a brew and talk about my concerns without feeling silly (I'm a bit of an anxious worrier) ... They def get a bit of a bad rep. mine actually arrived for an appointment at my house once and I'd forgotten and was still in pjs (common for me in the first weeks months) and she was lovely about it and just rearranged.

CountryGal4 · 09/02/2016 21:16

So I basically can't walk anymore Sad

CarrotPuff · 09/02/2016 21:52

Oh Country Thanks It's shit.

CountryGal4 · 09/02/2016 22:01

I don't know how I'm supposed to hack another 5 weeks

CarrotPuff · 09/02/2016 22:06

I've heard private osteopath can do wonders if you can afford it. Have you been referred to physio at all?

CountryGal4 · 09/02/2016 22:14

My osteo is looking after me. Mw thought no point in a physio if I'm already seeing an osteo who's familiar with how my body works. Realistically there's only so much both can do

Peenut · 09/02/2016 22:34

Oh no Country, hope the osteo can help you get moving again.

Keep it totally does kick in, all of a sudden you no longer feel shit! Then you are fooled into thinking it's safe to stay up past 10pm but it's not, then you'll need to sleep for three days to recover :)

Sock! Emma is a dick! That magazine really annoyed me and it wound me up there is no advice in it for self employed preggo people. It's shoved in a drawer with the DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 36 weeks labour info pack they accidentally gave me. Still not ready for that.

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/02/2016 22:44

Oh country Sad any chance of pain killers?
I've seen a friend struggle through the last few weeks of pregnancy with crutches, it looked fucking miserable.

That Emma's Diary thing...I got a bounty pack in the beginning then got given this new one last week.

I checked it out for advice for mothers who might potentially need a section as it was covered in about 20 words and mentioned only breech and position of placenta. Then gave it up as part of the natural birth conspiracy and stuck it straight in the cycling.

Kept the ludicrously small size one nappies though Smile

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/02/2016 22:46

Btw I'm joking about the natural birth conspiracy - I don't think everyone should have a section Grin
I just feel like there would be a lot less sad and angry and depressed mothers if all the options were discussed fully and openly during pregnancy.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 09/02/2016 23:09

Oooof country I second the motion to get some pain relief if you can. Will a massage help with the sciatica at all?

lil definitely the fault of the chocolate orange...

Pretty sure am incubating an octopus. Baby seems in several places all at once this evening! Enjoying a rare night home all alone in a tidy house. Everyone's back tomorrow and next few days will be full on with work.

KeepTheHope · 10/02/2016 04:29

I know it's unlikely anyone is up but I'm flirting between feeling stupid and really worried so worth a try!

As we went to bed tonight I had a sudden violent sneeze, the pain in my right hand side was so painful for a minute or two that I actually had to bite my hand to cope with it. It felt very me like round ligament pain.

Ever since that died down I've had some serious pain on my right side around my mid-stomach/bump area. It seems worse lying down, especially on my back or left, and is mainly a sharp pain, but occasionally an achey crampy pain with the odd stabbing pain thrown in for good measure. It feels like muscle/ligament pain but it's been five hours now and I've had to get up and come downstairs because I'm so sore I'm keeping DH (who is trying to be very calm) awake.

Sorry for the stupidly long "me" post, I guess I'm wondering if anyone has any words of advice, experience, "don't be so silly it's something that happens", anything. Seriously considering calling the docs when they open at the moment. Got myself in a right state.

KeepTheHope · 10/02/2016 04:37

Flitting, not flirting! Sorry for any other typos too, I'm tired and in pain.

honeysucklejasmine · 10/02/2016 04:52

Hmm. Sounds like you could have pulled a muscle. In the morning, just give the midwife a quick ring. There should be a number on your notes. Explain what you have here and just see what she says.

It's unlikely to be anything that might risk baby, assuming you've not lost anything from your vagina? But it's usually worth flagging up anyway.

Sounds painful though! I hope it settles soon!

I had a dream that a midwife came round and broke my waters. No such luck, unfortunately. grump
