Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Evening viroids! I somehow managed to lock meself out of mn and only just managed to regain access. Very odd!

Anyhow, I've been keeping updated but just not been able to post anything annoyingly.

Great news on the pram choice feathered, I've just googled it ... Looks lovely! I agree it's worth getting a decent system ... We are reusing our iCandy for this one as I still love it and it's in great condition. Will hopefully be able to get a good resale on it too like thursday said. That said, it is a bit scary when you're literally having to buy everything ... The bank certainly takes a bit of a hit!

What's the Amazon prime box 5hell? Also love the look of the hammock! There's so much more stuff on the market now compared to when I had dd 4 years ago.

Hope the poorly viroids are feeling a bit better ... So many nasties going around at the mo. I second that corsodyl is amazing!

26+3 and I actually can't believe how fast this is going! Seriously on a countdown for work ... I'm feckin knackered! Morning sickness seems to have sneaked back in too and the only thing that helps is sweet stuff and carbs. Dreading my 28 week bloods as slightly worried about GD ... Big baby last time too. I'm probably just being a mard arse though!

5hell · 08/02/2016 19:34

jelly shared it on fb...u need to start a baby wish list on amazon, then u can add this baby box to your basket, it's free and then it just arrives Grin

5hell she means Lindor. She could quite happily munch through some Lindor.

mad teacher skillz

Mermaid36 · 08/02/2016 20:30

News from the multiple birth clinic: both beans happy and squiggly and 2 strong heartbeats. The sonographer was a bit of a miserable cow though. We have very tentative Girlbees (though she was very non-commital).
Had bloods done and saw the consultant. No Doppler or bump measuring cos there is no point with twins. Now 16+4 not 15 +5, though it's confirmed that I'll deliver at approx 35/36 weeks, but type of delivery will depend on how the babies are placed.
Lots of talk about risk...joy. Risk to me, to the babies etc. Talked about premature delivery (e.g after 28 weeks), increased risk of miscarriage all the way to about 26 weeks, pre-eclampsia, DVT, twin to twin transfusion syndrome...Yay.
Back again in 2 weeks (every 2 weeks until delivery)

lildottie · 08/02/2016 20:52

Indeed 5hell honey is correct I meant lindor! I just have fat fingers and can't type!

mer as scary as it is its good they are talking about delivery tuff now so you have time to get your head around it.

Mermaid36 · 08/02/2016 20:57

Lil I have to have my hospital bag ready from 26wks! That's only 10 weeks away!

lildottie · 08/02/2016 22:01

You best get buying then! Lol. I put some price alerts on a few things on mysupermarket.com so I can try and get some deals on things. I'm impatient though and will probably just go out one weekend and buy it all!

SockQueen · 08/02/2016 22:07

Do you know what type of twins they are mermaid?

Distressing experience last night, after all the mini-egg chat on here. Someone brought some in for the snack tray on nights, ate a couple and they made me sick! Now I can't even think about them without feeling queasy. Sad

TriJo · 08/02/2016 22:27

I'll gladly take any unwanted Mini Eggs off your hands Sock :)

Yoga this evening - it doesn't seem to send lil dude to sleep any more, a few really big kicks to accompany poses which would make more room for him!

lildottie · 08/02/2016 22:34

OOf that can't have been comfy tri!

So talking of hospital bags, anyone got a list? You know what I'm like for lists and spreadsheets :)

honeysucklejasmine · 08/02/2016 22:41

I will get it to you Lil.

lildottie · 08/02/2016 22:50

Thanks honey Smile

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 08/02/2016 22:57

Evening all!

lil DP is indeed off but feeling much better about it now. Thanks for asking.

mer packing hospital bag is extremely satisfying... thinking about risks is difficult but it is better to feel clued up an in control as possible. You seem like you're handling things really well.

tri glad to hear your DM is doing better.

sock Flowers for sickies.

molly lindors are mmmmmmm delicious. You have excellent taste.

And Flowers for everyone else with colds and ulcers etc.

Finally feeling almost human again. Might have slightly overdone it with a trip to Asda after school with DD. Got loads of stuff with new low GI diet in mind and we picked out some things for the baby as well which was such a lovely feeling.

Hoping that I will still feel well tomorrow as did absolutely no work today and instead pottered about the house and worked on getting ready for baby. We are pretty much there with essentials. Sooooo excited Grin

gaggiagirl · 09/02/2016 01:01

here lil actually really informative if you like ramekins!
hope those babies are all cooking beautifully.

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/02/2016 06:11

Oh fuck I've been up for a good half an hour just coughing Sad
Why do I need to get a cough barely three weeks before having major surgery on my tummy? When DH & DS had it it lasted for months - I can't be that unlucky surely?
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah I'm scared!

CarrotPuff · 09/02/2016 08:03

Sky tut tut! Just because you're feeling better doesn't mean you should push yourself. Put your feet up woman, your body needs some rest after all it's been through, and all that is yet to come. Did you get a call from diabetes nurse btw?

Thurs coughs are a PITA at best of times. You'll be ok though, lots of Brew meanwhile.

Gosh Merm that would be my worst nightmare - having to think of 2 girl names! We can't even agree on one...

Which is starting to depress me. We do come up with some ok names, but I want it to be more than ok, I want to be excited to call our potential daughter that name the same way I'm excited about the boy's name we picked.... Sorry about the moan Blush

Woke up with awfully sore throat, but it seems to have almost gone after a hot cup of tea. I hope it stays that way.

Mermaid36 · 09/02/2016 08:14

carrot we've got 2 first names, but can't agree on middle names....neither of us has any family names to pass on, so we're just picking pretty names or not, cos we can't agree

honeysucklejasmine · 09/02/2016 08:46

Morning. I did something potentially stupid yesterday... Phoned the health visitors! Wink

I just said "do you still do antenatal visits, because I'm due very soon" and sure enough, yes they do, and thanks so much for chasing it up, they'll be with me on Monday. Apparently they give out the red book etc at the visit rather than in hospital, because I live in a border town and my hospital and my GP are in different NHS trusts it can get a bit confusing!

It feels weirdly exciting... It's real! Actually going to have a baby soon. Weird!

ThursdayLastWeek · 09/02/2016 08:50

I think HVs get a hard time on here. Sure, some of them can be a bit outdated with their info, but when we've got a whole internets worth at our fingertips that isn't really that important to me.

I've found them v helpful when DS was poorly enough to worry me as a first time mum, but not enough to warrant a docs appt.

I like the one that comes to us.

honeysucklejasmine · 09/02/2016 09:00

Absolutely. My friend is considering doing the HV qualification. She's a midwife but wants more regular hours and more money I asked her, how come HVs, who are more qualified midwives, get so much stick? She said she's not sure, prob as they are a bit isolated so can get a bit disconnected from the latest ideas. (But then added "for the extra salary, I couldn't give a fuck if everyone thought I was an idiot!") Grin

pretzelpieces · 09/02/2016 10:10

Can't believe how behind I've got on the fred. Sad

Sorry to hear about the gd, sky. They wouldn't usually do a c section as an option but as someone else on here said recently, if you want a c section they should do one, it's just you might have to fight hard for it as they'll say there no "medical need". If it helps at all I was wishing I had the option of a c section and ended up glad I had induction and didn't need a c section (the recovery has been much easier). But obviously everyone is different and I think you should push for what you want.

sock sorry about the mini eggs trauma, that sounds upsetting.

feathered armadillo high five!

Glad to hear positive hv chat, I'm meeting mine tomorrow for the first time.

KeepTheHope · 09/02/2016 13:31

Sooo... When does this "second trimester energy boost" kick in? Starting to think it's a myth to get you through the sickness of the first.

SockQueen · 09/02/2016 13:33

Had my booking-in appointment today, lovely midwife + student, no major problems identified so far. Loads of leaflets etc, some of which are helpful, one enormously patronising "Start 4 life" booklet which seems to be aimed at people with the IQ of a potato, and "Emma's Diary" which is a "week by week guide to your pregnancy" interspersed with vast amounts of advertising crap Emma is a dick.

honeysucklejasmine · 09/02/2016 13:37

Keep uh oh... Busted! Grin

Sock how annoying! Our clinic has the posters up but they don't give out leaflets routinely. Although the area I live in, it's probably appropriate!
