Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I had some very painful sneezes at the weekend Keep - caused a dagger sharp pain in the right side of my bump. I put it down to being super full and bump growth spurt (but I'm no medic). ^ like Honey said, maybe call the mw tomorrow (and try not to worry).

Off to budapest in an hour and have an awful sore throat. Been mostly well for my whole pregnancy (apart from morning sickness/first tri zombie tiredness) and DH has given me his sore throat. I'm so sad. Hopefully it will bugger off and it's just feelin so bad because it's so early. Sods bloody law - spending all our £££ on a last hoorah without baby and I'm fecking under the weather.

Also hadn't thought through flying without diazepam/sominax/booze. Nervous flyer here. I'm going to have to just listen to whale music and take deep breaths aren't I?!

Had a dream I was unsuccessfully breast feeding last night whilst hiking along the US west coast. Ok.

Honey be grateful you didn't wake up and find you'd wet yourself after a dream like that!!

Sky glad you're feeling a little more human. I meant to ask what the low sugar cook book was like? Any good?

Sock I find the majority of pregnancy health literature provided by the NHS is aimed at those with an abnormally low IQ. Kind of funny, kind of alarming. After observing the other attendees at the EPU during my numerous visits last year, it's pretty accurately pitched for the average preggo in my NHS trust....

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 10/02/2016 05:51

Just woke up starving! Baby is not so sure about portion controlled low GI diet.. currently eating wholegrain toast and sugar free natural peanut butter and hoping I will fall back asleep after Hmm

keep that sounds muscular. Ouch. Sending you a hand hold. Definitely ring someone first thing to put your mind at rest. I started getting very painful bump cramps at around 20 weeks. Everything is shifting and it can be hard on muscles and nerves. It does go away mostly after a week or so. Have you been very active in the day? That's when I flare. The walk home from DDs school is about 1km gentle incline and it gets me every time. I now take the bus home the ling way round or do it very very s-l-o-w-l-y to avoid straining my tummy muscles as it is agony.

feathered I met some young ladies in the maternity day unit last time that made me very grateful for said literature. I mentioned that my DSD is adopted and had a subsequent discussion with them about adoption that nearly made me weep with despair. Those poor young ladies have so much to learn about life.

I think it is very important that literature is available for all levels of education and those who might have English as a second language... even if it is a bit patronising!

Keep sounds muscular to me too - those sharp pains can be quite alarming but if they're outside rather than inside there's probably not much to worry about. I used to get them a lot when I stood up from the sofa.

Yes the lowest common denominator lit can be a bit patronising. I can suck it up I guess, but it does make you boggle sometimes.

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/02/2016 07:39

Sorry, rudely interupted by DS.

Feathered have a great time in Budapest! I know the cold remedies can be quite strict here, but I shouldn't have thought a strepsil here or there will have much effect on the baby and might help you have a better time. Can't wait to near about it. I have two Hungarian mums on my other antenatal groups and their trips nine always look amazing.

Honey what a dream! Have you discussed sweeps a and the like yet? These last weeks fucking drag right?

I simply must do something useful today. The bad news is we go down to being a single car family Sad today. Maybe I'll try to put the infant seat in the car in case it ever stops fucking raining.

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/02/2016 07:42

Oh yes your octopus sky! I well know the feeling. I actually take baths these days because they seem to stimulate the bugger and I quite enjoy watching my belly move around like something out if a horror film Grin

Mermaid36 · 10/02/2016 07:52

Sorry for all the Viroids who are feeling shit and unable to take anything - crap isn't it!

honeysucklejasmine · 10/02/2016 08:10

I've got a midwife appointment tomorrow Thursday so we'll see. 38 weeks today. Trying not to whinge too much... Poor DSis is 40+9 today. Shock

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/02/2016 08:16

Yeah I know what you mean, the DIL of our neighbour went in for induction yesterday at 42 weeks!

I don't envy them at all! Gx things don't take that long for you X

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/02/2016 08:55

My maternity wardrobe seems to be getting smaller and smaller as I get bigger and bigger Sad

I just tried to put on some h&m jeggings that claim to be the same size as my comfy ones and felt like a sausage! And my belly is starting to hang out of my vest tops too, sexy.

I also have deleted about a million app on the iPad and am currently downloading the second series of suits to watch in hospital Smile I'm actually quite looking forward to it

TriJo · 10/02/2016 09:47

Feeling that too Thursday - anything underbump is starting to look a bit silly at this stage! I look like a beached whale at 34 weeks. I also suspect that once I go on maternity leave my days of wearing anything but yoga pants or other leggings are completely over!

KeepTheHope · 10/02/2016 11:53

Thanks all, I feel better after finally getting a bit of sleep. The pain has died down a lot, still there but no where near as bad. On my notes it says up until 20 weeks to just ring my docs. As its feeling better I'm going to take it really easy today and see how I get on and call later or tomorrow if I'm worried. Feeling much calmer now and it definitely feels muscular, no signs of anything new else bad happening, so think I'm just the idiot who managed to pull a muscle badly by sneezing Hmm

Feathered I hope you have an amazing time, Budapest is on my list of lovely looking places to go. Hope your throat doesn't ruin it for you.

Gx for midwife appointment honey. Hope they find things are secretly getting going.

KeepTheHope · 10/02/2016 13:11

After some spectacular projectile vomiting I've spoken to my docs and midwife triage and they've reassured me it sounds muscular skeletal, things to do and look out for but all ok.

Peenut · 10/02/2016 13:13

Glad you feel better Keep, I sneezed earlier and had to hold my tummy as I knew it was going to hurt! Think your tummy is expanding at such a rate that everything goes weird and stretchy!

I'm sure none of you look like beached whales, rock those yoga pants ladies! There's no shame in a stretchy waistband!

honeysucklejasmine · 10/02/2016 13:41

Keep have you been given any anti-emetics? Honestly, don't put up with it. Same for heartburn. There are plenty of safe medications to stop these things.

KeepTheHope · 10/02/2016 13:51

I haven't honey, but to be honest the sickness has been pretty much non existent for the past week or two which is why it scared me into calling this time! I think I'd just got myself worked up. Seeing the midwife next Thursday so will speak to her about it again then.

TriJo · 10/02/2016 14:18

Have been asked by 3 separate people in work just today when I'm due. I must look about to pop... (34+3)

Our third of 5 NCT classes later, did not enjoy reading the article our teacher asked us to read for today's class about forceps and ventouse deliveries at all! Shock

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/02/2016 14:22

Yes, I wholly agree with not suffering in silence!

I'm glad your MW & GP were reassuring Keep. The one thing I'm not looking forward to is the post- section laughing/sneezing/coughing. It's horrible when you don't feel like you have control.

I have finally done something useful - dusted and hoovered the sitting room huzzah! oh and made a bacon & egg sandwich for lunch

5hell · 10/02/2016 14:36

afternoon lovelies

can totally empathise on the feeling massive tri/thurs ...had missed yoga last week, so this week everyone's all "you're massive!" "definitely not just pies is it?!" ...so polite! (they are lovely really)

country/keep/feathered hope your ailments don't keep you suffering too long, and you get lots of sympathy, tea and cake (and Hungarian treats as appropriate!)

cant believe you get homework from NCT Tri ! Shock

was feeling a little odd thismorning, tired and sort of twitchy/uncomfortable/tingly, but since lunch seems to have normalised...just another joy of pg

CarrotPuff · 10/02/2016 15:27

Keep that's great you got some reassurance. I used to get very sharp pain if I tried to stand up/sit up too quickly.

My back hurts whenever I sneeze or cough. The joys.

DP is away for work until tomorrow evening. Mentally crossing my legs although I know it's highly unlikely I'd go into labour imminently.

CountryGal4 · 10/02/2016 17:42

Carrot I can relate to that! Well get there! Positive news of the day my consultant has booked an elcs for 2nd march!!

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/02/2016 18:05

Yay! Country hurrah! I'm so pleased for you!

CountryGal4 · 10/02/2016 18:07

Mind you that does bump me up to third on the list :s shiiiiiiiit

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/02/2016 18:11

Queue jumper.

What made them change their minds?

CountryGal4 · 10/02/2016 18:13

I'm not really sure. I'm osteo wrote a letter. She just walked in after my growth scan and asked how the 2nd march suited. No discussions or anything. Was rather strange. Considering as last time I was basically begging her and she was like no!

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/02/2016 18:29

Well that's weird. But good Smile

I know another lady having a elcs on the 2nd too, I wish I was!

Are you all booked in for a pre-op too?
