Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Good luck carrot x

CarrotPuff · 28/02/2016 08:18

Must be cake then.

Just got checked over. Will be heading home shortly. Have to go back for induction at 10pm if nothing happens naturally, which I hope won't be needed as I'm already contracting, just not very regularly yet.

Discofairypants · 28/02/2016 08:28

Yay carrot! I hope things progress nicely for you throughout the course of the day ... You could have a leap year baby! Although hoping he/she is born sooner rather than later for you!

YogaPants · 28/02/2016 09:04

Go Carrot, go! Hope the contractions ramp up quickly for you.

Lil your organisation puts me to shame. I'm two weeks ahead of you and only yesterday started properly scoping out cots and travel systems.

Feathered I've been attending a pregnancy yoga session near me on and off and like you describe it is less of a workout and more 90 minutes of focused breathing and meditation. My favourite things is it takes place in a proper hippy yoga studio decorated with Tibetan prayer flags and smelling of incense from the meditation class which precedes it.

lildottie · 28/02/2016 09:17

Ooh gx things get going on their own carrot

5hell presumably you know because you are fb friends with this person cake

yoga don't feel bad, I'm the sort of mental person who packed for her honeymoon 5weeks before the wedding Blush. A combination of excitement and control freak means I will probably have everything ready by 30weeks because I am insane. Although the house won't be finished by then!

ThursdayLastWeek · 28/02/2016 09:21

I'm a packer too lil

My hospital bags have been ready for weeks!

Gx you have a smooth ride carrot, though I'm slightly jealous if your potential leap baby! Have you got someone to dispatch DS to?

CarrotPuff · 28/02/2016 10:07

They are getting quite ouchy now.

Yes, PILs are here, they came over at 5.30 (they live only half an hour drive away) and will be taking DS over to theirs once FIL gets his tire fixed. He'll be staying with them tonight.

I hate this waiting bit. Hopefully not too much longer...

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 28/02/2016 10:58

You've got this carrot! Does anyone remember the 90s comedian Carrot Top? When we were last in NY he was at an event we were at and DD was telling him knock knock jokes about Minions. Random!

I've buggered me phone. She landed in a cup of water this am and has been in a bag of rice turning on and off again ever since Blush thank goodness for the ipad...

FuzzyOwl · 28/02/2016 11:01

Thinking of you Carrot.

CarrotPuff · 28/02/2016 11:21

I think we're going to go back. They are really ramping up now. I don't want to do this Sad

FuzzyOwl · 28/02/2016 11:24

Good luck Carrot. It's totally understandable not wanting to do it but just try to focus that the baby has to come out eventually and will be smaller today than waiting for another week! I know you don't have any choice because the baby has made up its mind but it will all be over soon, even if it doesn't feel that way at the time. In my opinion, and I fully appreciate not everyone shares this view, drugs are your friend when in labour!

fruitlovingmonkey · 28/02/2016 11:38

Good luck Carrot, sounds like your baby is ready to come out and meet their lovely family. You can do it! We will all be cheering for you x

CountryGal4 · 28/02/2016 11:43

Carrot. You've got this! End goal you meet baby so just try and focus on that. Take the drugs !!

Mermaid36 · 28/02/2016 12:38

carrot stay strong, you'll be meeting your baby soon!

justtheonethen · 28/02/2016 12:57

Go carrot!

lildottie · 28/02/2016 13:07

carrot good luck! Baby probably not too impressed that it has to leave it's snug watery womb but your body has pressed the eject button. Thinking of you and hoping all goes smoothly.

Thurs I'm jealous, I soooo want to pack my hospital bag but it really does seem too early and a but like tempting fate at 24+5!! I do have price alerts on things on mysupermarket though in case any deals come up!

sky no! How did it end up in water? Hope the rice sorts it.

Currently watching dh try to clean the rusty crib bolts with coke at the suggestion of the man in screw fix!

SockQueen · 28/02/2016 13:21

Go Carrot! You can do this! Star

Mermaid36 · 28/02/2016 14:18

lil best way is to soak the bolts in full fat coke for a day or so....I find a can of coke cleans my burnt jam pans like new....

ThursdayLastWeek · 28/02/2016 14:23

You have actual physical evidence that you can do this carrot. You've done it before, you can do it again. I beeeeliiieeeeveee in you, you're a incredible, strong woman!

I just blew £200 is about 2 hours Shock DS is finally moving to a single bed so I needed to stock that, and then I went rather overboard on nice things at tesco.

Including...

MollyBloomYes · 28/02/2016 15:40

Eeeeee go carrot!

Can't remember who asked about catheter (country?) but it was the following day, after breakfast I think. One less thing to worry about the first night! Then they were worried because they measured my next two wees after removal and they were massive so they thought I was missing bladder cues. Had to explain I have a teacher's bladder so can hold off for a very long time. Funnily enough midwive's bladders are very similar!
Thursday they didn't wait for a poo with me I'm afraid! Seemed to take it as given that nobody poos for ages after cs due to painkillers! But no, they can't make you leave if you don't feel you're ready. So close now!

Sky I had to battle for my ELCS as you know. My argument was exactly the same as yours, that knowing I 'nearly managed it' last time was of no comfort and that increased levels of anxiety would be detrimental to labour progression. I really hope they start listening to you and support you in what you want. I've never had a vaginal birth so can't compare personally but healed very quickly after both of my c sections with no issues, whereas some friends have had hideous issues after vb. No perfect solution either way unfortunately! Hopefully instinct will kick in for you and you'll know the best course of action for you.

honeysucklejasmine · 28/02/2016 15:56

Carrot! You go girl! waves fanjo flags
