Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Welcome back Corgi, so great to see happy news from familiar faces this week. Hope you have a long and boring pregnancy!
Shell are fishy sources of iron bioavailable too? Quite fancy some mussels. Feathered I've been using iron as an excuse to eat Lindt 70%. Weird that they don't offer you the toxoplasmosis test, it cost less than £30. They could stick an extra tenner on and make it a nice little earner for the NHS
prepares to take over Jeremy Hunt's job with my evil capitalist ways
Glad it went well Thurs, hooray for a morning baby!
Pee I get a pushing outwards feeling in my ribs every evening. Prior to pg I had what could be best described as a Lego figure ribcage- wide across my body but quite narrow front to back. Really hope my boobs eventually go back to the same size, it just dawned on me the other day that they might change forever and that would mean my lovely and excessively large lingerie collection will be wasted Sad.
My doc is satisfied that the contractions were a one- off and has given me authorisation to fly, woohoo. Good to know he should be staying where he is for a few more weeks.
NFMW: Ovia thinks the baby is the size of a croquembouche this week Hmm

Peenut · 26/02/2016 13:47

Whoo! A flurry of fresh meat! Glad to see you again Corgi! Is it your hen do? Mini Egg shots all round!

Do you know, I'm sure now I think about a friend has high blood pressure and a problem with her ears! Maybe I should get checked over. I am really bunged up though (oh the pregnancy glamour) so might just be rhinitis related.

Fruit – a Lego rib cage!! Te he! Pregnancy is doing weird things to us! I hope my boobs return to normal small size, I don't think I like my new boobs, they get in the way/roll in my armpits in bed :) They have stopped hurting though I noticed the other day ...

corgi88 · 26/02/2016 13:54

Pee it's a friend's hen do, I can't imagine what I would have done if I couldn't drink at my own hen do! I got suitably sozzled - it was 3ish years ago now, yikes.
At the risk of invoking the law of sod I have added myself to the stats (I didn't do this last time so superstitiously hoping it will make the bean sticky).
yay for mini-Egg shots!

honeysucklejasmine · 26/02/2016 14:26

Congratulations Corgi!

ThursdayLastWeek · 26/02/2016 14:29

Ah hello again corgi! Very pleased to see you before I dash off next week Grin

carrot I still think you will do a baby before me.

I feel light and happy and confident after that trip to the hospital. Yesterday I felt cross and dissatisfied so that good news all round.

FuzzyOwl · 26/02/2016 14:30

Yay Corgi so pleased for you. Smile

I had a spinal block Thursday and it was absolutely fine.

honeysucklejasmine · 26/02/2016 14:50

Thursday I had a spinal block Grin it was great! because I was in such huge amounts of pain at the time

FeatheredTail · 26/02/2016 14:57

Hurrah! Welcome back Corgi! I was also nervous when I returned here after my MC - but as a viroid said to me at the time and as I will say to you - we treat every pregnancy as though it will be long, boring and will end with a lovely little chublet at the end!

I knew there would be an undergrads boom sooner or later. Chuffed.

Thurs that all sounds really reassuring - you get to be the centre of attention on the C-section ward!

Yoga I just properly laughed at your "fire buddy" situation. There are no words. Haaaahahahaha! Work don't really care about me. They half heartedly offered a risk assessment, I declined, that was about it!

Ovia has rules unto itself when it comes to the "Parisian Bakery" theme Fruit. Really makes no sense. I don't think any of the app developers are familiar with french baked goods!

I had my pregnancy yoga class. The studio is gorgeous - in a lovely old bard building. The class was mostly breathing and tiny little movements and stretches. We also had to do - cringe - positive affirmations to our babies, though silently, thank the lord. The only thing I could think of to say to my little foetus was "get off my bladder". It was super relaxing though.

I don't want my boobs to go back to normal. I'd like my nips to go back to their normal colour and size, but the actual boobage is welcome to stay. Full and jubalicious. They looked like sad little deflated balloons before pregnancy.

Just had a massive iron rich lunch of scrambled eggs on toast. With an iron tablet.

TriJo · 26/02/2016 14:59

Last day in work, went out for lunch with my team today. I am so full of Vietnamese food I could sleep under my desk for the afternoon. Tis all good :)

MollyBloomYes · 26/02/2016 15:00

Country and Thursday I was told to expect 48 hours, got out after 24ish (late the next day). Entirely depends on no complications and how well you're managing the pain. And how desperate you are to flee antenatal ward nutters (I had a plethora of them) gx! I'm actually jealous I enjoyed mine so much!

CountryGal4 · 26/02/2016 15:02

That's good to know Molly. How soon did you get your catheter out ??

ThursdayLastWeek · 26/02/2016 15:10

I was rather disappointed when she said 24hrs TBH, I think I'd prefer to be near MWs and away from DS for two nights rather than just one - but yes it all depends on PN ward nutters

CountryGal4 · 26/02/2016 15:15

Thurs they can't make you leave. If you'd prefer to stay a night or two longer I don't think they can hoof you out

SecondCupOfTea · 26/02/2016 15:20

Grin @ Feathered

At least you didn't swear in your silent positive affirmation.

So we have 3 newbies to go on the stats sheet, plus Disco if she ever gets round to it!

ThursdayLastWeek · 26/02/2016 15:30

Haha, feathered that's why I love Pilates over yoga - I'm really all about just trying to maintain everything in good working order thanks.

Stay off my bladder punk I like it Grin

Tea is stats queen, make the most of her while she's still here newbies! Although perhaps you don't need to, I'm just assume everyone is as bad at spreadsheets as I am!

I think I'll just pretend I haven't done a poo, then they can't chuck me out Grin

Last time, my recovery was awful and long winded and scary - but the plus side was that I didn't get out of bed more than three times a day for 7/8 days which was hella good for my wound recovery. Silver linings and all that.

Peenut · 26/02/2016 16:16

Feathered –ha haaa to yoga affirmation! Very zen.

Ovia's French Patisserie is so random –I love that there are no actual numbers in cms on there, just a palmier cookie this week! Croquembouche sounds a physical impossibility! Funny though!

TriJo · 26/02/2016 16:52

^ The idea of pushing out a croquembouche is quite frankly terrifying... Shock

KateBeckett · 26/02/2016 16:54

Wow another bfp! It must be a Lucky month Grin

ThursdayLastWeek · 26/02/2016 17:05

Hang on - the only croquembouche's I've ever seen were in GBBO and were like a foot tall Shock

And pointy.

FeatheredTail · 26/02/2016 17:14

I'd love to give birth to a croquembouche. Mmmmmmm. Croquembouche.

Mermaid36 · 26/02/2016 17:15

Huzzah for all the bfp's!!! Now, if someone else could have twins as well, then I won't feel such a weirdo...

Ovia says my baby is the size of a Gameboy (it doesn't do multiples)....We had a discussion about whether that meant an original one or a more modern streamlined one...

No news on test results....Monday it is then...Hmm

CountryGal4 · 26/02/2016 17:21

Will you guys quit it with the pastry chat... Nom Nom Nom

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 26/02/2016 17:28

molly! How the heck are ya?!

Yay for your bfp corgi! This would appear to be the much needed baby boom.

All this talk of takeaways and patisserie goods is making me jealous Envy but I've got the goods to make a pan of GD friendly dark choc brownies tomorrow so that's something to look forward to. The metformin really affected my sleep last night so I am tired and weepy today. DD off to her dads after supper for 24 hours so hopefully I can get some rest.

ScottishLady7 · 26/02/2016 17:29

Lurker appears from the undergrads Fred

Don't worry Mer, I fully intend on getting upduffed with identical twins in the not too distant future...

resumes lurking and scuttles back to the undergrads

SockQueen · 26/02/2016 18:19

Congrats and welcome corgi! Hope you have a fun weekend on the hen do.

Country / Thursday if you have any C-section related questions, fire away and I'll do my best - I've anaesthetised for close to 100 so know a reasonable bit about what to expect.

One of the gynae docs at work took pity on me today, after a particularly nasty pukey morning (posh gold top milk does NOT taste good second time around) so I now have a lovely bag of drugs. Smile
