Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

imminent labour honey. Cats know these things.

Anyone want a nearly 3yo DS? This doesn't shit on the stairs then tread it down each step HONEST. Potty training sucks ass.

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/02/2016 20:48

Oh yes and yippee for happy scan news kate!

FeatheredTail · 16/02/2016 21:21

Oh god, Thurs! (Tell me your stairs are wooden and not carpeted?)

honeysucklejasmine · 16/02/2016 21:33

Eugh, I would not be impressed Thursday, I am finally signing mortgage paperwork tomorrow. Don't want to do that between contractions! But tbf that's at 10am so can go in to labour afterwards no problem.

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/02/2016 21:43

No I wasn't impressed whatsoever. We have beige carpet FFS!

Ooh exciting times Honey! New home soon? Or buying the one you're in?

honeysucklejasmine · 16/02/2016 21:55

Lol just a remortgage but we've taken DM off the paperwork and put DH on, so needed to get it all done officially.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/02/2016 22:25

Oh thurs CakeWineFlowersChocolate

feathered that seems like a bit of time. You also can do 'checking in' days and you could maybe create a handover file with suggestions and protocal etc? How can you tell I have a hard time letting go too?! Grin

Had another peak after dinner but not a massive one. I got added to that FB group and there's loads of good advice there so feeling a little less lost. Still have a crashing headache and don't know if it is polyp/sinus or sugar withdrawl Hmm

Oh well tomorrow is a new day and will bring me one day closer to meeting my gorgeous baby. I still can't get over seeing her face on the scan yesterday... so in love.

ThursdayLastWeek · 17/02/2016 07:36

Oh I see Honey, probably not that exciting then. Hope all goes smoothly.

Sky, the eating thing sounds like a right ball ache, and you're coping admirably. Only a few weeks to go why do these ones feel like 12 days long? I can't wait to see your baby either!

Feathered good luck for your article today! That's WELL fancy.

Ok a good nights sleep has made me realise that I ought not give DS to an orphanage. We have some friends coming over for lunch and then I have my 36 week MW appt.

The weather here is back to horrendous.

lildottie · 17/02/2016 08:00

Morning all

Kate yay for good scan and congrats for boybee. Guess the person who bought the girls outfit will have to hold onto it for the next one! Out of curiosity did you have a string feeling what it would be before scan?

honey yay for mortgage getting sorted. God we're all so grown up its scary at times isn't it! Are the cats still being weird?

feathered perhaps arrange a meeting with your boss explaining what needs doing and the qualites your cover should possess? Then do the handover notes thing too! Hopefully you'll fast forget about work when baby comes and won't give a flip what they do to your projects for 12months!

sky you're doing so well. Glad you've found some support and are feeling less lost.

No news here. Just still too busy!

ThursdayLastWeek · 17/02/2016 08:21

How many weeks are you now lil?

lildottie · 17/02/2016 08:35

23+1 today Thurs!

ThursdayLastWeek · 17/02/2016 08:42

Wowsers! Other people's pregnancies fly by compared to ones own!

I feel like I've been in my 30 weeks for about a hundred years.

honeysucklejasmine · 17/02/2016 08:57

Thanks Lil! I am looking forward to paying less interest!

Cats seem calmer today. But their routine of a morning is fairly set. Basically sit outside the shower whilst DH is in it, jump in to lick water whilst he gets dressed then follow him downstairs for food. Meanwhile I stay in bed, ignored. Bliss!

honeysucklejasmine · 17/02/2016 08:57

Oh, 39 weeks today. Scary!

5hell · 17/02/2016 11:36

did you get your internet kate? - oh and welcome to 'team blue' :)

oh thurs massive sympathies for the pooy stairs!! :( it's not much consolation I know, but i've had to clean dog diarrhea from the dining room carpet (also beige) and it does come up fine eventually.

attempted some labour bag shopping last night, but no suitable nightwear in either tesco or sainsburys, so had to console myself with scratch mitts and "born in 2016" socks (only £1 from tesco).

also discovered can no longer do shoulder stands - have neither the core strength nor agility

honey - 39w...now that sounds scary (and exciting)! do you feel ready?

Peenut · 17/02/2016 12:00

Wah! 39 weeks Honey ... you is officially on may pop at any second watch!

Go boybee Kate! (I think I meant to say that yesterday and can't recall if I did or not!

Oh no! Consolations on the poo steps Thurs! I too have done various sloppy dog poo clean ups and bicarbonate of soda is very good to getting rid of any lingering smelly bits!

I feel much better today –burning pee has gone and I look like I've been punched in the lip thanks to coldsore, but I'll take that as long as the urethra of flames doesn't come back.

honeysucklejasmine · 17/02/2016 12:17

Southern grads!

If you're coming to the meet up can you pm me or La to confirm and whether you need high chair/buggy space.

Remember it's a week today, in London. If you've forgotten details pm me and I will remind you.

Discofairypants · 17/02/2016 13:38

Hello all!

Finally out of hospital with Dd, they were concerned she had septic arthritis in her hip joint but after x Rays, blood tests and monitoring it transpired she has a severe throat infection, causing secondary hip pain. Tis a relief as septic arthritis is quite dangerous and would've required surgery.

Congrats on boybee kate

Sorry your hols were ruined feathered. I've suffered with cystitis all my life and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I started to get it on hols once and they gave me some cranberola tablets .... They worked a treat.

Eeeek to poo incident thurs ... Potty training is shit, quite literally!

Hope everyone else is ok!

TriJo · 17/02/2016 14:06

Nursing PJs arrived, can start packing my hospital bag... Shock

Starting to think little dude is dropping - feels like even more pressure down low than before today, and walking 100m down the road to get my lunch wasn't particularly comfortable. Midwife appointment tomorrow grumblegrumblemiddaynoconsiderationforworkingpeople - will ask...

ThursdayLastWeek · 17/02/2016 15:57

Another underwhelming MW appt.
I was in and out in under 5 mins

Mermaid36 · 17/02/2016 17:36

Hi all...dropped off the Fred again Confused

Had some shit news yesterday regarding our Downs blood tests we had done (in absence of being able to do NT screening). They came back as super high risk for the pregnancy (both babies as they are identical).

I was in bits and DH was in Holland for work for the week. Bless him, he jumped on a flight last night and was home before 11pm - def a keeper!

I've had the day off work today and have sorted out a consultant appointment tomorrow and a NIPT Test at a private clinic on Monday (as they are way more reliable than the quadruple tests provided by the NHS). Still feel shit, but need to pull my big girl pants up and get on with it.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/02/2016 17:58

Happy 39 weeks honey!

Feeling really down over here. Have had headsplitting pain all day from nasal polyp thing. Diet getting easier to manage but find myself obsessing day and night anout food which is an unwelcome development. DP and I both tense and arguing, I think the stress of being threatened repeatedly with stillbirth by the nurse after my shitty care has really worn us both down. Feel awful for DD. I am either too tired, ill or depressed to do much other than watch TV with her and feeling tremendously guilty that I probably won't be able to do the school run much any more as it just knackers me and I can't seem to get well. It isn't fair on her that I am always poorly. It just seems now like having another child was a really selfish decision. I know it is probably my hormones making everything seem worse but I am just so overwhelmed Sad

fruitlovingmonkey · 17/02/2016 18:25

Flowers Sky you are having a bad day but it will all seem better tomorrow. Remember how excited dd was about another sister? You're not being selfish.
Yay for good scan news Kate and welcome to team boybee!
Scary times Disco but glad she got the all clear.
Mermaid it could be worth asking your consultant if you can have NIPT on the nhs. A friend went to see a consultant obs (privately) because she is pg and over 40 and wanted extra care and he actually told her to just come and see him on the nhs. Not sure if her NIPT was totally free or reduced rate. Anyway, I guess that's the least of your worries, will be keeping the gingers firmly crossed for healthy twins.

Shell I need to start the old hospital bag list too. Hoping to go and see the maternity ward soon but DH keeps working late. I've heard rumours that they provide quite a lot of the necessities over here, but that could be only in private hospitals. Don't want to make assumptions and be left with a leaky foof and no pads!
Nearly there Honey how exciting!
Is anyone Epi-no ing at the moment? I think I'm going to order one.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/02/2016 18:41

Oh shit I x-posted with you mer... that must be quite a lot to deal with. Bless your DH for coming straight home to you, what a great guy. Sending you a big hug and a hand hold and I don't care who knows it Flowers

CarrotPuff · 17/02/2016 18:58

Oh Disco how scary, glad all is well now.

Thursday you poor thing, deep breath, you'll get there Thanks

Sky you're just having a crap day, tomorrow will be better Thanks I always feel better after a nice long bath. And fruit is right, you're not selfish, your DDs will be so happy once their baby sister is here Thanks

Merm I'm glad you've got a plan in place, I'm sure all will be fine, big hugs Thanks

I'm very comfortably sitting on bed and don't want to move. DP is stuck in traffic though so I need to go bath DS...
