That's a shame crepe , looks like you've been up worrying about it by the time of your post. Don't feel guilty (easy to say) it's a lot for a young mind to process and I'm sure she'll be excited as it sinks in. My DD is too young to understand, I'm a bit worried how she's going to feel when a baby suddenly arrives in her house!

Yes I always wake up about 3 am at the moment and if I've got something on my mind it starts going round and round and keeps me awake! Thanks for the reassurance, I'm sure she'll be fine in time!!
My big 2 are 19 months apart and I remember how tough it was when I was pg with dd. I was worried how ds would take it he was such a sunny happy baby boy. When she arrived, very clingy, he did become more demanding and seemed a bit shell shocked by it all as much as a 19 month old can BUT let me reassure you that he soon adapted and it was like I'd given him the best present ever. They are still very close now they're older and play together such a lot. You do feel a bit torn sometimes but it's lovely for them to have each other. I'd have another after this one as a playmate but I think that might be pushing it!!

I'm not sure what I should do right now and am feeling like a bit of a tit. I'm away for work, just had a nice bath in the premier inn hotel and am suddenly having cramps. No bleeding but I'm now worrying and crying and simultaneously feeling a bit daft in case it's just trapped wind. I don't want to call DH and worry him unnecessarily but I'm scared. I don't really have a question here, I just...should I be doing something?

Bless you ninecoronas, I don't think there's anything you can do. Try not to panic: it could be stretching pains. You can take paracetamol if you have any?

nine, I don't know if it's the same but I often feel stretching...it's not sore but is uncomfortable. Maybe walk around your hotel room to see if that releases any trapped wind? And if in doubt phone your EPU even for some advice. So hard not to worry but there's so much going on down there I'm sure it's probably harmless. Really feel for you, horrible to be worried away from home

And crepe , that is so lovely to hear about your older DC. I really hope my two get on and are close. I'd love them to have a buddy in each other.

Thank you loads; it's calmed me down just to have people to talk to. Am going to eat some food (because that's my answer to everything these days) and hope it goes away. You're right, I'm don't think I'd be panicking if I was at home. Daft mare!

nine I've had some really painful trapped wind lately. Lots of stretching going on too. I hope it's nothing and you feel better soon. Take some paracetamol and try to enjoy your hotel room (I'm very jealous, I would love a hotel room to myself!!!)

Officially start the second trimester tomorrow I'm expecting to magically feel amazing!

Does anyone know what the n fold thing (can't quite remember the name!) is supposed to be? I know they combine it with bloods to get a result but just wondering what is a good/bad measurement.

Liliana on my scan the n fold measurement was 1.5mm which was a good measurement apparently. Can't help more than that I'm afraid!
Nine I remember having cramping a couple of weeks ago but it was ok. I think maybe I'd eaten too many chews!

I'm low risk and I think mine was 1.3 I googled nuchal measurement at the time and found a page which told of the measurements

Oh, mine was 2.4 - which the sonographer said was fine, but that's a lot higher than all yours. That's scared me a bit.

Mine was 1.6.. And the bloods all came back low risk. I'm sure they would have told you by now if there was anything to worry about Kit

It was only on Tuesday this week, I had to have rescan as they put me back a week the first time so was too early for nuchal. I was exactly 14 weeks though, the very limit of when they can do it until. Maybe that's why mine was higher? I asked the sonographer what it should be and he said less than 3 is generally fine. But obviously haven't had any results yet.

I had my scan yesterday at 12+5. Baby was hiding at first but after a bit of poking and jiggling from the sonographer he/she got into position. Baby was very active and moving around all over the place. My NT measurement was 1.7mm and everything else seemed fine. I can't believe I'm growing a human!

Great picture space ! It's only sinking in now that I'm actually pregnant now that I'm feeling better and have a wee bump.

kit don't compare with us (as if I wouldn't do the same!) I'm sure anything within a range is fine. I think I got my letter about a week after the scan.

Big news here...my DD has gone for a nap! Her sleep has been all over the place after having great sleep patterns do hoping the phase is passing I'm lying on the sofa...bliss

Forgot to post mine last week. All is well. Baby was abit uncooperative and was really curled up. Measured smaller than what is physically possible haha. But otherwise all else is well. I have another scan in a week and six days so hopefully will gather from that a proper measurement. However I'm sure of my own dates anyway. Baby has a girl nub so I'm told, be interesting to find out if that's true.

Thanks everyone. We got four photos and forgot to pay (no one asked us either) so we feel a bit guilty! That one is definitely the clearest but in the others you can clearly see the nub. I'm betting girl and DH thinks boy. We're going to find out at 20 weeks, I want to be as prepared as possible. just love seeing everyone's scans, they're so amazing!

Hope everyone is starting to feel a bit better. Apart from the constant insomnia/tiredness cycle I'm starting to feel a bit more human again. Hope those of you who have been through a tough time in one way or another are doing ok

Can I join in please? I am 15 weeks tomorrow (edd 5 September) and gradually getting over the first trimester nerves and illness. Don't know whether it's the fact that the sun made an appearance today but I feel like I've got some energy for the first time in two months. Hoorah!

Welcome Back. Hope everything ok Nine and you just needed a big fart!!! Lovely to see all the pics. Had my scan today, put me at 13+3 with EDD 16/9. Baby was very stubborn and wouldn't get in a good position to measure the neck so having the quadruple blood test at 15wks. DS has a cold and not sleeping well so when I should be enjoying lots of energy I feel like a squashed poo!

I'm loving seeing everyone's scans. I can't wait till my next one which is exactly a month today! I'm now well into maternity clothes and have a fast growing bump! Very exciting.
