Egid86 · 29/02/2016 15:42

So sorry ladies, thinking of you both. Hope you have some support Flowers

StrawberryPav42 · 29/02/2016 19:13

Hello everyone, please can I join the group? I'm 10 weeks, first pregnancy and comforted to know that I'm not the only one that feels the anxiety! Whilst its exciting to be on a 'journey into the unknown', I'm almost counting down the hours until that 12 week scan....

StrawberryPav42 · 29/02/2016 19:48

I'm so sorry to hear of your loses ladies, I can't being to imagine how hard it must be. Hugs and best wishes Flowers

0hCrepe · 29/02/2016 20:45

So sorry to hear the bad news for both of you. Lots of love.

JayBeanie · 29/02/2016 20:47

I'm so sorry to hear your news boots and frazzle. I've been there and I know just how tough it is. Be kind to yourselves and take some time out to recover Thanks

wineandcheeseplease · 01/03/2016 07:31

So sorry to both of you x

Lilliana · 01/03/2016 09:11

Hi strawberry. Congratulations and welcome. Hope you have a very boring pregnancy

StrawberryPav42 · 01/03/2016 16:59

Thanks for the welcome Lilliana. Morning sickness - o - rama at the moment, finding it hard to adapt to only being able to stomach carbs, and only little bits at a time, as in my mind I want to eat healthy for the baby but my stomach just won't accept it! How are others doing with morning sickness at the moment?

foreverclockwatching · 01/03/2016 19:36

MS is evil, strawberry. I had to leave a lesson today to throw up, luckily was 6th form and they were busy so didn't seem to notice. I feel nauseous all the time and sick several times a day. I'm nowhere near as excited about this (planned and much wanted) pregnancy as I thought I'd be, just because I feel so bloody awful!

So sorry for the awful news wornoutboots and frazzle. Can't begin to imagine how you feel right now xx

FraterculaArctica · 01/03/2016 19:53

So sorry for your losses boots and frazzle. Please take care of yourselves.

SockQueen · 01/03/2016 20:29

I know that feeling forever - I had fertility treatment to get pregnant and now I feel so crap I can't help thinking that if something does go wrong I'm not sure I'd want to go through all this again.

I have been prescribed some cyclizine (anti-sickness) and ranitidine (antacid) and it has made a big difference. I am still exhausted, but the relentless nausea is much better and I'm only vomiting once or twice a day now. Definitely recommend asking your GP for some if you're struggling!

foxessocks · 01/03/2016 20:45

Totally relate to those feelings forever and sock and everyone feeling the same!

I'm 14 weeks tomorrow and I think my sickness is just starting to ease. Yesterday I felt different and couldn't work out why then realised I felt a bit better! Today I ate lunch totally normally and I've just managed some dinner too and actually felt hungry for it and enjoyed it. Still didn't eat much but it is progress.

CustardOmlet · 02/03/2016 03:04

Is anyone else getting insomnia? I never had this problem last pregnancy, but this time I frequently wake around 3am and can't get back to sleep. I'm exhausted during the day and struggling with work due to lack of sleep. Plus Iv got another cold so I'm a miserable ass!!!

0hCrepe · 02/03/2016 06:50

Hi custard yes I get it a lot. I did wake up about 3 last time but managed to get back quite quickly. Sometimes I'm awake for hours. So bloody annoying!

Lilliana · 02/03/2016 07:24

Me too custard I'm so bloody tired in the day and then wide awake at night!

ninecoronas · 02/03/2016 10:25

Frazzle and boots- so sorry to hear your sad news.

ninecoronas · 02/03/2016 10:27

Custard yep, but nobody gets in the way of me and my post-work nap!

sparkleshine83 · 02/03/2016 10:41

Sorry to hear what happened, Frazzle :(

I'm shattered. I'm currently working 30 hours a week and I'm exhausted, nothing is getting done in the house although my partner is being a star, he has no time either as he commutes. I have always been a light sleeper and at the moment it's even worse, I wake up constantly in the wee hours, then again when he leaves to go to work, and of course there's always those delightful hours when he snores pillow over face I've been napping on the sofa almost immediately after sorting out dinner.

I've been lucky with nausea though, I've felt sick a lot but not actually thrown up once. It's scary though because my symptoms seem to have died down a lot and whilst it's probably just placenta kicking in, I feel even less pregnant now than I did...

CustardOmlet · 02/03/2016 14:55

I was awake until 6ish, then DS got into bed at 6.30 and we dozed until 7 so today I am like a zombie at work. Also trying to work full time and the house and poor dog are suffering. I'm sneaking home for a nap now!

CustardOmlet · 02/03/2016 14:57

Sparkle I remember that anxiety and being genuinely suprised that I was still pregnant at the first scan.

Egid86 · 02/03/2016 15:43

Hi Sparkle, I had an early panic with light bleeding at 6 weeks which has had me a bag of nerves! Especially when my symptoms disappeared a fortnight ago, instead of feeling great I felt so anxious. Had dating scan yesterday and was genuinely surprised that everything was ok and kept expecting to hear bad things. Hope everything is going OK, so difficult to not be so nervous

Sausage2229 · 02/03/2016 15:44

Hello All. I've been suffering really badly with anxiety and thoughts about MC. Each time it happens to someone else I fear I'm next. I've been to my GP today who will have a think about the safest anti-depressants to take and I will see her again next week.
On a lighter note I had a private scan today as we weren't overjoyed with our NHS one (they struggled to get a good picture and pressed really really hard). The scan was great!! Both 2D and 3D. Heard the heartbeat!!!! Got 9 photographs and a DVD of the whole thing for £39.
Feel much happier now. Got terrible round ligament pain so I'm on edge with each pain but it helps to see (and hear) the heartbeat and to see the baby moving round!
Hope we are all doing ok. Placenta is kicking in now so feeling sick slightly less which is nice.
13 weeks tomorrow. 27 weeks and 1 day to go!! X
