frazzle it's probably just because mums of twins are obsessed with people being pregnant with twins! I think I did the same with some of my friends tell her to stop it!! I don't think there's any concrete signs (other than the scan!) either.

I was reading an article (admittedly in the daily mail) earlier about a lady who is 29 wks preggers with quintuplets, conceived naturally. Now that would be a surprise at the scan! She is having to eat 6000 calories a day and up every hour in the night for a wee!

Hi all - I've got my booking appointment next Thursday when I'll be 7 +5. DH wants to come but he's a bit embarrassing (makes jokes etc). I agreed and said it would be lovely . Having waves of nausea and fatigue - my DH works away in the week and I have 2 DDs (6 and 3) plus a full time stressful job so think I am going to get super tired over the next few weeks. This baby is due 19 sept so hoping to start my mat leave as the school term finishes (I am not a teacher) so I can spend time with my girls before DC3 arrives!

Someone mention feeling dry and thrushy in old thread. I seem to be going the other way. So much discharge. Changing underwear at least twice a day but so paranoid that I smell!

Catface I had that last time. Went through vast amounts of pantyliners and it bothered me a lot. Yet nothing this time! Wierd.

Those of you who have previous kids, did your symptoms change each time? Cos this feels a little different - apart from the above, my nausea only comes once a day max (as opposed to all the time last time) and I dont need to pee that much more (as opposed to thinking I'd a UTI last time).

Wondering if it means anything? Change in gender etc?

Can I join in? Currently 7+2 with DC1, EDD 11/09/2016. Had a scan today because I was on Clomid so higher chance of multiples, but there's just the one in there, with a nice visible heartbeat (though the printouts just look like a blob!)

Anna I'm only 5+4 but so far needing to pee a lot more. Nausea/hunger not as bad yet but I think it didn't start til about 6 weeks last time. Will be interesting to compare!

my symptoms have all been the same I think. Can't remember really, my last was 7 years ago! Deffo had the very slight travel sickness feeling and weeing all the time, plus dizzy spells and more forgetful than usual

I'm so worried about it, I'm kind of pretending it's not really happening. I was thinking of going for a private scan next week but I'm too scared of being told there's nothing there!

Have just sent the DH out for celery, garlic dip, dried apricots, curry supernoodles, watermelon and mango!!! Can't face anything else. Still got pretty much constant upper stomach ache, like I'm hungry or I'm sick. I'm not being sick although I probably could be, but eating doesn't make it better either....is this typical nausea?? It's what is waking me at 4am too :-(

Wow thread 2! I am desperately trying not to focus on the lack of symptoms as meaning anything negative...I've got 3 weeks until an appointment with the midwife. Waiting is not fun when in dire need of reassurance! Remind me of this in a few weeks when I feel dreadful and look back on this time as a golden age

I googled that lady having quintuplets - they wanted a 3rd child and will now have 7! Madness! One of the first things my mum said to me when I told her about BFP is that there are twins in our family

Otherwise well with a few pains but very mild and no different to before. Guess it could be the start of a miscarriage? Anyone had similar and been ok. Seeing my GP Thursday but feeling quite pessimistic.

Moonrise sorry to hear that it is worrying even though it can be fine. I had that before with 9yr old dd. All was fine obviously. I went to the dr and then had a scan which showed it was ok. Go earlier to the gp if you're really worried.

Moonrise I had pink and brown with both of my healthy pregnancies. I had no bleeding whatsoever with my mmc. Try not to worry, things are moving around and embedding in.

Thanks for the support - I had none in my previous pregnancy but have heard not uncommon. Just have to wait and see (patience is not one of my virtues!).

Glad it's not just me. Will have to hunt out my washable liners. It wasn't til at least the end of 2nd trimester before I need them last time.

Last pregnancy I was throwing up a lot.. Every day, several times. Not sure when it happened, trying to think back! This time I've started feeling really sick this week, plus I'm off most foods. I am massively addicted to oranges. I also really want appletiser (but I haven't got any). Same cravings as last time! I definitely showed early on last time, but I'm not the skinny 25 year old I was then, so pretty impossible to compare

I mainly want to sleep and not do my massive pile of marking.
