Wow! First here. Well actually mine #2 is due 30th Sept by dates but as DD was 10d late I guess Oct is the place to be. I was in Oct 14 so Oct 16 seems to be the right place to be. Anyone else?

Yeah I'm not too worried. I've ordered some from Amazon (again, lazy Grin) which will be here tomorrow (while my mum is here so can't do it until Saturday morning)

Ds asked me if I'm ok earlier. "Yes why?" "Lots of wee" was his response - and he keeps asking if I'm feeling sick Shock he's clearly got memories of when mummy used to go to the toilet a lot, she was sick Grin

ILoveYouBaby · 28/01/2016 15:26

Spotting started last night, which has happened in my previous pregnancies. I've booked into the local early pregnancy clinic next Friday. In the meantime I'm trying to decide if I am up to commuting whilst bleeding. And hoping and praying that my little bean sticks.

missybct · 28/01/2016 15:33

Tuddles - Bless him! I had a two hour window at work earlier where I was going to the loo every 20 minutes!

Iloveyou - If it's something normal for you, fingers crossed it's nothing more than normal Flowers - if you can rest up without any issues from work, do so. I am crossing everything that you've got a sticky one Flowers

LotsaTuddles · 28/01/2016 15:52

I have times like that too. There's sometimes I go to the toilet, sit back down and need to go again I'd forgotten how much it really is.

ILoveYou, I agree, if it's normal for you, try not to worry too much. Relax as much as you can. Also hoping it's a sticky one Flowers

isthatpoisontoo · 28/01/2016 17:00

Hope you're feeling ok, Iloveyou. Try not to worry, if it's happened before and worked out fine. Sounds like you should look after yourself, if you can get out of the commute.

I've been having a nice lazy day, just managed some lunch. I don't know how you manage feeling like this while looking after children.

I think I'll lay off the exercise for a while. I know what you mean about swimming, missy, I swim a lot in the summer, but it's hard to force yourself when it's cold and feels impossible when you're sniffly.

Tuddles, a positive is a positive, no? It trumps a negative. I've heard that Clearblue aren't very sensitive, too.

LotsaTuddles · 28/01/2016 17:15

I don't know poison. Luckily they're quite good at entertaining themselves usually. They both have chicken pox at the minute so they're slightly needier than usual, but I'm hoping next week I can wallow in my self pity a bit Wink.

Have some first response and the Amazon 10 mlu ones coming tomorrow. I have to admit, that I'm a serial POASer for the first week or so Grin

My mum's coming to stay tonight for the weekend, so will have to try and keep my mouth shut

melonribena · 28/01/2016 17:24

Lotsa, looks like a positive to me!!

My lightheadedness is much better today but agree with a previous poster that I keep forgetting I haven't told must people yet!! I keep almost blurting things out!

How long is anyone planning to work till? I did 32 weeks last time but my job is quite active. I would like to try a bit further this time!

LotsaTuddles · 28/01/2016 17:31

Ha. I keep nearly saying things that would give me away.

I worked until around 34 weeks with ds, but I had an active job and involved a lot of moving tables and chairs etc around (events organiser). I'm a sahm now, so will be "working" until I'm in labour Grin

missybct · 28/01/2016 17:38

I've not even thought about when I'm going to work till! Technically I can work from home, so if I become unbearably pregnant (during the summer, ugh) then I can always sit in my nightie with a fan pointed at me, height of luxury! Grin

Tuddles - 10mui ones are usually fine, but I've heard they aren't anywhere near as sensitive as they claim to be sometimes, so please please don't be disheartened if they don't come up super strong!

melonribena · 28/01/2016 18:18

Missy, I'm not looking forward to the summer heat either!!!

wetsnow · 28/01/2016 18:22

Hi all...
Got positive this morning and I'm in shock still... will be baby 2... dd is 2 in Feb.
Due 4th Oct.

wetsnow · 28/01/2016 18:30

Just caught up with other posts.
Luckily I'm a teacher and it's perfect time to be due. I get the summer off. Will go back for 2 weeks in sept... then return to work at the end of July.

I booked a holiday to France in august... was looking forward to relaxing in my bikini with wine...

kittyvet · 28/01/2016 18:32

Fingers crossed for you iloveyou. I hope it works out.
Welcome wetsnow
I gosh I had forgotten about the unbearable summer! It was pretty horrid in 2012! Who else is praying for a rainy one?

ILoveYouBaby · 28/01/2016 18:39

Welcome to the newbies!

I've bled in previous pregnancies, with 2 miscarriages at 7-8 weeks, and my dd in between. The difference was that the bleeding tailed off with dd.

With dd, I planned to work until week 37, but then I had complications and work were being difficult, so I finished about week 33. It was brilliant! I did have Xmas in between so I was busy, dd came at 39 weeks and I was active so could do lots.

LotsaTuddles · 28/01/2016 18:40

Not looking forward to the summer either. But, I plan on getting the paddling pool out as early as possible

melonribena · 28/01/2016 18:40

Kitty, I agree about 2012 being rubbish for summer, thank goodness!

Wetsnow, snap! Me too and I was thinking of doing exactly what you're doing. I don't think they'll put me in a new class for 2 weeks in September though.

wetsnow · 28/01/2016 18:47

Melon my dd was born early feb. They employed my cover from straight after Xmas. I just mooched about for 2 weeks.
I'm at a different school now with a job share. I guess all be helping whoever takes over my class.

LotsaTuddles · 28/01/2016 19:16

Summer 2013 was a killer too thinking about it.

Actually 2014 was too, and last Summer wouldn't have been much fun

kittyvet · 28/01/2016 19:25

Oh baby brain already! 2012 was the year I got married! 2014 was the year I was pregnant! It was pretty hellish anyway!

OP posts:
LotsaTuddles · 28/01/2016 19:41

I think they're all hellish tbh

SimileMilly · 28/01/2016 19:57

I worked up until 37 weeks last time and went back to work the day before DD's first birthday (rubbish timing!). This time round I'll hopefully work up to a similar point but will most likely have to go back to work sooner - I earn a lot more than DP - so in my head around June with a month or so annual leave tagged on the end.

busybeeeee84 · 28/01/2016 20:45

I'm a teacher too wetsnow. I plan on doing similar to you with mat leave. Finish in July and start mat leave on first day of school year then start full pay again on the first day of the summer holidays!! We've both been very lucky with the timing and our job!!

Anyone think there's anything in the darkness of your line on the pregnancy test and the number of babies your carrying??? I've had faint pregnancy tests in the past (both led to healthy babies) but this line has been as strong as the control line on all 4 different tests that I've taken and now I'm envisaging twins or more!!! Hubby says i'm being completely irrational and that pregnancy hormones have well and truly taken over lol. Chances are there will be twins on the thread somewhere though........... haha xx

SimileMilly · 28/01/2016 20:57

Not irrational at all busy - I wondered this this morning too…

I used to be a teacher but retrained into the financial sector when DD was a baby. I'm regretting this decision a little right now!

SimileMilly · 28/01/2016 20:59

Although twins or more would force us to rapidly move forward our plans to sell our tiny 2-bed house! Shock
