Wow! First here. Well actually mine #2 is due 30th Sept by dates but as DD was 10d late I guess Oct is the place to be. I was in Oct 14 so Oct 16 seems to be the right place to be. Anyone else?

My booking in appointment is tomorrow! Has anyone else had theirs yet? I'll be right weeks exactly! Just hope the little one is growing well - the scan next month will certainly be a relief. Still managing to keep it a secret - which I'm impressed that I've managed!

So my low level cramping took a different turn last night, was strong enough to wake me up

Wasn’t excruciating ‘bent over double’ but needed some very deep breathing until it subsided. Obv on knicker watch, and nothing so far, but have emailed my clinic to check. Am sure it’s just being overly cautious and it being my first time, but am crapping myself as viability scan isn’t for another week!!

Phoned about my booking appointment and have to wait for a call back

They do them between 6-8 weeks here apparently

Got a nice topic to wake you all up this morning lol what does everyone think about sex during pregnancy? Is it okay to do or should it be avoided?? Especially in first trimester?

Katy sex is fine at any time. Your cervix may be more sensitive so you may get some bleeding after sex but this isn't a reason not to do it or to worry

Didn't get a wink of sleep last night. I thought I'd seen a bit of spotting in my pants (nothing when I wipe) by spotting I mean it was more like the cm you get before you have af (brown tinged) then I had cramps all night so I was awake imagining the worst. There has been nothing overnight though so fingers crossed all will be ok.

I've got my booking in apt tomorrow which is only 6 weeks, seems odd but it wasn't a mw that made the appointment so they'll probably just tell me to go home!

I've got my booking in appointment today - I'm 7 weeks +3 but going by my LMP I'm over 8 weeks (I'm defo not, but they go by that).

Sex is fine Katy - my only advice is that you may get a little bit of spotting or tinged CM - and if you're in a lot of pain it may be worth avoiding. Me and OH have been active occasionally, but I've had quite a lot of cramping off and on so we've sort of being doing 'other' things - not easy when I'm having incredibly vivid sex dreams

Feel a bit less symptoms today - sounds so ridiculous but spraying my perfume for the last week has made me feel really UGHH initially, but this morning it was like normal. I also drank a coffee, which I've been massively off for at least 2 weeks. That said, I'm still feeling gaggy and aversions to certain things. Boobs were keeping me awake last night everytime I rolled, should probably invest in a sleeping bra soon. Not peeing loads during the day, but waking up in the night - weirdly relieved by that?

Katy I would agree that sex is fine at any stage, if you feel like it! although for the first couple of weeks after my BFP I felt so bloated and crampy that I didn't want to, but that has subsided now (replaced by hideous nausea but thats another issue!)

Does anyone else have weirdly timed morning sickness. Last time mine was definitely worse in the morning all though did linger all day. This time I am actually fine first think in the morning but as I go through the day it gets worse and worse. Yesterday it hit around 1pm and was severe and lasted until I went to bed. I am worrying that another 6 or 7 weeks of this is going to be really tough! my 3 year old will be glad to be at nursery today as yesterday I was a very boring mummy!

I haven't really had any symptoms yet, apart from being constantly exhausted! Don't know wether to be pleased or worried :s

I just found out this morning, it is not a planned pg thought I would pop on here, I haven't been on since my first pregnancy in 2014. I'm completely in shock and just want to yell bad words. Oh roll on home time so I can tell hubby, I hope he takes it well :/

Clinic said cramping could be very strong as the uterus was growing and stretching and as there's no bleeding there is no cause for concern.

Phew! Hopefully the little duracell (what we've nicknamed it because the embryo was AA grade when it was transferred!!) is just making itself at home!
