Wow! First here. Well actually mine #2 is due 30th Sept by dates but as DD was 10d late I guess Oct is the place to be. I was in Oct 14 so Oct 16 seems to be the right place to be. Anyone else?

Hi all, room for another one? BFP here too, EDD 28th September but fully expecting to be late as per usual. We have DS who is nearly 5 and DD who is 2 so this is DC3!!!!Very excited and looking forward to the next 9 months. Not much to report symptoms wise here either apart from sore boobs but I reckon the worst is yet to come. Looking forward to getting to know you all

CatsCantFlyFast · 26/01/2016 04:32

Dino hope you are ok. I know of somebody who bled heavily until the second tri and I had a red bleed at 10 weeks last time around so I really hope everything is ok for you

kittyvet · 26/01/2016 05:59

Welcome busy bee Smile

Welcome, busy!

How are you today, dino?

Cherryberry1 · 26/01/2016 09:26

Welcome and Congratulations to the new ladies!

I'm thinking of you Dinosaur

missybct · 26/01/2016 09:48

Dino - hope you're okay love Flowers

Welcome busy - come on board!

Simile & Melon - CP sounds like a dream! If you've got extended family going too may give you and your OH's an opportunity to have some time out alone Grin.

How are we all doing today? I'm full of bloody cold Envy - had a lot of cramping/pulling last night, but seems to have eased off today.

CatsCantFlyFast · 26/01/2016 11:14

Anybody else got zero symptoms? I'm worrying. I can't remember but suspect the pinching/pulling/stretching feeling had started by now with my last pregnancy

missybct · 26/01/2016 11:57

Merkin - I've not had much, although I had the pulling/stretching sensation a lot yesterday. I was feeling nauseous last week but that's dropped off too. Don't know whether it's because I have a rampant cold though Envy

I was concerned and then I remembered reading that alot of symptoms don't kick in until 6 weeks for some people - each pregnancy is different and in some ways we've found out a lot earlier than a lot of people who find out their pregnant.

SimileMilly · 26/01/2016 13:44

merkin I've had some pulling/stretching too but sore boobs have worn off. I'm exhausted but that's it.

Ladycrazycat · 26/01/2016 16:09

Hi there,

I'm due on Oct 3rd. This will be my first.

I had two BFPs on Saturday morning. I hadn't been planning on testing but woke up and felt I just had to. I was two days off my missed period so used a cheap test and it was positive. I posted on here in chat as I couldn't quite believe it, my husband was still sleeping and I needed someone else to confirm it, and then I followed up with a FRER one which came up with a really dark line almost instantly.

I still can't quite believe it and am anxious today because I was having some cramping/back pain and sore boobs yesterday which have now almost gone. I want the symptoms as confirmation I am pregnant!

We've told our parents, siblings and three close friends so far. I want to tell the world but I'm trying to wait!

melonribena · 26/01/2016 18:01

Congratulations lady!

I've had some cramps and back pain too, also feeling nauseous and strangely lightheaded. Seems better today! Telling my team leader at work tomorrow. I know it's early but I think I need a specific risk assessment doing.

kittyvet · 26/01/2016 18:39

Welcome lady! Cramping, back ache and sore boobs all normal. Baby settling in for 9 months :)

Ladycrazycat · 26/01/2016 19:11

Hi melon and Kitty.

Pleased to hear my cramps and things are all normal. It's more when they Stop and I feel 'normal' that I worry. I want a reminder that I'm pregnant.

Good luck telling work melon. My work isn't really one where much change will be needed so I don't have a reason to tell them early. I am tempted to tell my line manager who is also a friend but going to try and wait another week or so.

leoniethelioness · 26/01/2016 19:45

Congratulations, Lady! Glad to see another first timer on here too!

We've not told anyone yet. Struggling a bit with it as I feel so deceptive! DSis is also expecting a baby so there's a lot of baby talk at the minute but I'm having to keep shtum! DH and I agreed that we would wait for a bit before telling anyone else so that's what we're doing.

Perhaps rather naive but I'm hoping to make it to 16 weeks before telling work. Do you think it's doable?

isthatpoisontoo · 26/01/2016 20:06

Hello everyone, can I join too? My EDD is the end of September, and I'm in Manchester. We weren't actually trying, we were going to start in February, but it turns out that only the once was necessary!

I'm feeling a bit envious of those with no symptoms. I'm either ravenous or nauseous and I keep coming over lightheaded.

The only person I've told so far is the friend who is organizing my hen party in a fortnight, because who doesn't love a dry been party?

Dino I hope you're OK.

kittyvet · 26/01/2016 20:33

Perfectly doable lady Didn't announce my pregnancy until 20wks last time! I had to buy a bigger size pair of work trousers but no-one suspected a thing :)
Welcome poison

ILoveYouBaby · 26/01/2016 21:13

Hi all, can I join?

Positive test on Sunday, due 3 October.

It's my fourth pregnancy. I've dd who was 2 today :) and I've had two miscarriages. Not sure which way this one will go yet so proceeding cautiously! I tend to bleed throughout my first trimester, but I've managed two days with no spotting so far which is a relief.

Congratulations to everyone!

melonribena · 26/01/2016 21:33

Congratulations Iloveyou! Welcome to the group! Really hopeful for you

soundsystem · 26/01/2016 21:33

Oh, dino. Sorry to hear that, hope you're doing ok.

Hello to the new peeps!

My DD will be almost 2 when this one arrives. I'm also trying to put off telling work for as long as possible. Anyone who has had two already, did you start showing a lot earlier with your second? I'm not super slim and it's cold so I'm hoping I can get away with jumpers and pretending I'ev just eaten too much for a bit!

SimileMilly · 26/01/2016 22:41

Hello and congrats to the newbies. Hope everything goes well for you iloveyou !

I told my boss today, he knew last time and was really supportive when I miscarried last time and was off until after Christmas. Plus he's a good friend. Other than that, my best friend, my sister, DPs dad and my mum know.

We got a wedding invite for the end of September from a close family member today - eek!?

CatsCantFlyFast · 27/01/2016 04:39

My friend showed super early with her second - was in Mat jeans by 10 weeks I think Confused

missybct · 27/01/2016 09:25

Welcome lady and congratulations Grin - cramping/sore boobs = totally normal and it comes and goes I've noticed - doesn't stop the anxiety I know, I keep checking all the time Grin.

I'm also tempted to tell my manager, but two people at work know, so should there be any issues I know they can speak up if required. I don't really need any particular assessment done, it's more the potential of vomming at work I want to clarify! leonie - 16 weeks is doable, but depends on the nature of your job really and whether you have obvious symptoms, which I guess you won't know until later on.

Welcome also to iloveyou - fingers crossed you've got a sticky bean there and congratulations Grin

I got my CB Digi result last week - feel like I can relax a bit now, did a FRER at same time which yielded a huge purple line, thank goodness.

How are we all doing today'? Have any of you booked in with your GP yet? I'm still a bit apprehensive of doing so...

isthatpoisontoo · 27/01/2016 10:49

I'm slightly worried about vomiting at work, too. I don't want the first people I tell to be work rather than family, though.

I've booked to see my GP, Missy, I'm going next week. Weirdly looking forward to it, actually.

missybct · 27/01/2016 11:15

Sorry sthatpoisontoo I missed you off my recap post - welcome and congratulations Grin

Is that your booking in appointment where they do bloods? Or just a "Hi, I'm pregnant!" appointment? DP and my Mum have dissuaded me from booking a Booking In appointment yet because of "tempting fate" but I know I'd only worry too - I just don't feel it's totally real until I have that appointment booked!

I bought a book the other day called "What to Expect When You're Expecting" - for those pregnant for the first time (like me) it's been really helpful Grin

isthatpoisontoo · 27/01/2016 13:20

Thanks, missy!

Just a hi-I'm-pregnant. I know some people go straight to the midwife, but my doctor has been so helpful and enthusiastic when I brought up ttc, I do want to tell her. For me, I think I'd be devastated if something went wrong whether I'd booked appointments or not.
