Jelly can you add me to the fb group? Not sure how I message you to do it tho?

BiffleRoo · 18/01/2016 15:52

Scan went well but have to go back for rescan as baby being uncooperative and couldn't get all all she needed. Also baby refused to reveal gender Angry

Belleboo23 · 18/01/2016 16:09

Jelly i got the icandy peach on Saturday we won't be using as a double but it was set up that way at first and looked really good. The shop we brought from is local to me but does have a website not sure if their January offer is on there though. We paid 799 for pram and pushchair and got the car seat included which you could pick the maxi cosi or the cybex aton q so we went for the cybex. Seems a good price compared with other shops

Belleboo23 · 18/01/2016 16:10

That's a shame biffle hopefully baby will be more cooperative next time, have you got to wait much longer

TattedPixie · 18/01/2016 16:21

Finally given in and got myself some maternity clothes. Got 3 tops and a dress from New Look in the sale before it finished. Not gonna bother with jeans, just size up in leggings which look like they will see me through.
Got a friend selling a Silver Cross and car seat so I've told her I will have it. It's saved me a small fortune and a lot of hassle lol

CheersMrSunfresh · 18/01/2016 17:41

Scan went well here, absolutely amazing to see the baby again, despite lots of wriggling all measurements were all good. Just so relieved, didn't realise quite how much I'd been building up to the scan until I felt the relief after. We had a midwife sonographer training another midwife so we got extra time to see the baby and extra photos which was very special. We're still team yellow as planned!

Biffle sorry to hear BabyBiffle didn't want to co-operate completely, but all sounds good so far and you get to see them again very soon which is a lovely bonus I'm sure!

Biking hope all went well for you. Good luck to all you ladies with scans in the next few days.

emma85x · 18/01/2016 17:49

biffleroo I'm glad your scan went well. After all that time waiting how selfish of baby biffleroo not to cooperate! When is your rescan booked in for?

BiffleRoo · 18/01/2016 17:51

Rebooked for Wednesday lunchtime. Is a lovely bonus and hope they are behaving this time. The friend that came with me and I are both around 90% sure 'she' is a girl. DH will me absolutely ecstatic

emma85x · 18/01/2016 17:53

If anyone would like you buy anything from jojo maman bebe I found the following discount code: HZ92 All you do is enter the code at the checkout and you get 15% off if you spend £55. This applies to sale items too! I bought a pair of jeans, a coat, a dress and two tops for £75. Result! Happy shopping ladies!

LouLou030783 · 18/01/2016 18:17

Oh biffle what a nightmare hopefully baby behaves Wednesday

JellyBaby26 · 18/01/2016 18:37

Belle what was the website?

An acquaintance managed to get hers from JL for under £700 some how. I need to get my haggle boots on! Will save as I'm not going to bother getting the carrycot I don't think as we rarely used it with dd!

TomboyGirl · 18/01/2016 18:54

I'm leaning towards the iCandy Peach 3 too but like you JellyBaby, I will pass on the carry cot of that's the pram we end up with!

MollieRos · 18/01/2016 19:11

Biffle hopefully the baby will be more co-operative at the next scan!

Belleboo23 · 18/01/2016 19:31

It's baby planet in Leicester they selling the pram and seat set up for 799 but doing the free car seat in January which on its own was about 175 looks a good one. Could only choose black or think they had red at that price but I wanted black anyway. If you want the colours that have just come out its more

GrubbyWindows · 18/01/2016 19:39

Beano i second torf!
Start with a cheap stretchy sling, and get thee to a sling library once you have a baby to try them on in. Every back is different, what suits one is a pain for another. We love our Connecta, but would never have known that without hiring quite a few others to try first.

My scan is next Monday, eek! I think we are going to find out the sex, but still slightly vacillating...

bikingintherain · 18/01/2016 21:05

Hey all, just dropped in to say scan went well, we were there a long time as baby was in the wrong position to see the heart. After 45 minutes she told us to come back after her next appointment, and the baby had moved so it was all done and dusted.

I'm quite relieved now as I've had a couple of stressful scans in the past (all that worked out ok) but I'm happy it's all done now. And the sonography was so nice, she kept declaring how cute the baby was!

Sex known, and now I know, I think I'm going to enjoy keeping it between DH and I. Does that make us team yellow?

Rosi393 · 18/01/2016 21:57

Place marking.

Rosi393 · 18/01/2016 21:59

Congrats ladies on your scans they sound so exciting. I have my 20 week scan in just over 2 weeks but seems so long away so booked a private scan for Thursday. It feels so long since the 12 week scan.

MiraclesDoHappen82 · 18/01/2016 23:04

My 20 week is 2 weeks today rosie the wait is so hard isn't it.

Violet88 · 19/01/2016 07:46

Congrats on all the positive scans!

Has anyone else had left sided lower abdo pain. I've been having hip and back pain for a few weeks, but yesterday for the first time I've had pain in my left side. I checked baby's heart beat with my doppler and it appears he is fine. It just hurts when I move position quickly its like a sharp stitch then and then the rest of the time its just an ache?? Does it sound like round ligament pain??

Mrspopper · 19/01/2016 08:11

I get that violet. Left side too.

mrsmugoo · 19/01/2016 08:57

Sharp stitch does sound like a round ligament twinge.

I'm 20 weeks today! Feels like a milestone :)

SliceofLemon · 19/01/2016 09:15

Hi guys, have been keeping up but haven't posted for a while. Definitely sounds like ligament pain violet.

With all this buggy talk I've started my research and found a iCandy Peach 3 second hand in good condition with all accessories etc for £350, is this a good deal? Don't know if I should snap it up. Haven't even had 20 week scan yet :/ Any thoughts?

bikingintherain · 19/01/2016 10:13

slice I would be tempted to. It's a good price, and I have been really impressed with my icandy. I'm still using it 6 years later, and highly expect to be for another 3. could do with a clean from when I let DS eat chocolate ice cream in it

TomboyGirl · 19/01/2016 11:43

Violet, I've had the pain on my right side..really sharp pain Sad

Anyone else had a go at aqua aerobics?
