Just popping in to say a very merry Christmas to all you lovely people, brilliant to see lots of good news from scans! Hope you're all enjoying your Xmas eve and have got lovely days planned for tomorrow. Am off to play Santa now and put presents out, can't wait to see DD's face in the morning Grin

Jw35 · 24/12/2015 22:30

Merry Christmas GlenCo! I've got tons of wrapping to do still as dd didn't sleep until 10! Really shouldn't leave until last minute!

SeriousStuff · 25/12/2015 01:59

I so wanted to come on here next week with some good news, but the bleeding got heavier last night. Managed to get an appointment at the EPU where we're staying over Christmas and had a confirmed incomplete miscarriage today. I'm absolutely gutted but will hopefully be back again soon.

I genuinely wish all of you the best of luck over the next 9 months. Have a lovely Christmas xx

Christinedonna · 25/12/2015 02:32

Bless you seriousstuff I'm so sorry! I hope you and the family are okay and can still try and enjoy Christmas. Hopefully next year is your year! All the best & merry Christmas xxx

Serious I'm so sorry to hear your news, take care of yourself x

Buffallo she told me yesterday that it's one of each, so very exciting. Told my family, my dad went into a bit of shock but got over it by the evening and got the champagne out. Everyone else was really pleased, my sister especially as she had been keeping it secret from even her husband for me!!

I hope everyone has a lovely day today x

M2B816 · 25/12/2015 09:24

Jw35 · 25/12/2015 10:50

Oh Serious! Sad on Christmas Day! You poor thing Thanks I'm so sorry for your loss. That really is so sad. I hope you get pregnant again really quick and have a healthy baby. Wishing you all the love and luck xxx

PickleBot · 25/12/2015 12:39

Merry Christmas everyone, I'm 8+1 today and had a tiny glass of champers this morning. It's odd I just wasn't interested in drinking it! Anyway at least my sweet tooth is back so I'm enjoying the chocolate coins instead. hope you are all feeling okay, I've been better the last few days, but I think it might just be distraction.

Sorry for your loss Serious Flowers

SharyBobbins · 25/12/2015 12:59

So sorry Serious Flowers

Jw35 · 25/12/2015 14:25

Pickle I've felt better too last day or 2 and I'm 8.2 hopefully the worst I over (very much doubt it)! I reckon distraction! I'm busy making Xmas lunch

Happy Christmas all! [santa]

FourForYouGlenCoco · 25/12/2015 17:41

I'm so so sorry Serious. What a terrible day for it to happen. I know there are just no words. Hope you've been well looked after today, be gentle on yourself xx

lilygirl81 · 25/12/2015 18:37

Well, I'm managing to be up for about 90 minutes before needing a rest, getting woozy. I did manage the tiniest plate of Christmas dinner, literally 1 piece of goose, 1 of turkey, a pig in blanket, 1 bit of carrot and 2 tiny roast potatoes. Hoping I'll manage some pudding after this test, my mum has made a clootie dumpling which looks amazing!

Hope you are all having fun xx

Dileas29 · 25/12/2015 23:34

Had a 2 1/2 hour nap today it was the best part of the day waking up fresh for round two and tackle the meal! Hope you've all had lovely day. Sharing the news with my family was nice, then MIL said not to talk about it too much? Rude.
Anyway merry Christmas!

quitecrunchy · 26/12/2015 00:18

So sorry serious, what a shitty thing to happen, especially getting the news today. Wishing you all the very best for 2016 x

Christinedonna · 26/12/2015 00:40

You don't know about rude until you tell your nan and grandad and your nan says "are we supposed to be excited? You don't hang about do you!! What are we supposed to say to that." Safe to say I wish I didn't waste a Christmas present there!

SeriousStuff · 26/12/2015 01:45

Your messages mean such a lot x

BuffaloCustardbath · 26/12/2015 07:39

christine and dileas what is it with grandmas??! I hope your parents/OHs stuck up for you!! Shock

When my cousin announced her second pregnancy to our nana (about 6 weeks after I had announced mine and she was delighted) nana said "ohhhh.... Never mind love" and patted her hand! Cousin was like "errrr nana, we're delighted!!"

I'm already anticipating annoyance at the "was it planned?" questions.... I still can't get my head around how rude that question is yet EVERYONE asked it last time. Angry

BuffaloCustardbath · 26/12/2015 07:45

oops I pressed post too soon then - it's nice to hear about the lovely announcements Smile I saw a couple of pregnancy announcements on Facebook yesterday and a couple of gender reveals too, there seem to be a lot of babies due next year!

I am so tired today, I slept really well but LO has been up early demanding milk and a banana and is in our bed watching cartoons so I can't get back to sleep. We weren't even that busy yesterday so I'm counting this tiredness as a long awaited pregnancy symptom - even though it's not exactly a definite symptom! I also cried at Gogglesprogs last night and my eyes welled up with tears numerous times when my little one was so excited and cute - so I'm having that as a symptom too hahaha!!

We're out again all day today so I'm already looking forward to a very lazy Sunday tomorrow - does anyone else have nice plans for today?

Christinedonna · 26/12/2015 09:06

They don't have a filter! I'm exhausted and I'm up getting ready for work..on my birthday! Have a nice chilled day everyone

OwlinaTree · 26/12/2015 09:22

Happy birthday Christine!
We told family yesterday, all postive. Mil v pleased, but did say, hopefully this will encourage sil to have one now.... I'm putting out down to excitement Grin

lilygirl81 · 26/12/2015 09:27

We have a busy day today, heading over to DH family, staying in a lovely hotel tonight which I can't wait for.

Apparently my mum has looked down all my sister and my baby clothes for us to look through and decide which ones we want to use. It's going to be perfect, as even if we want the same ones, my sisters twins will out grow them by the time ours is ready for them. Looking forward to doing that in a couple of days
