Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Wow lil that's amazing! Congrats Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 04/12/2015 14:40

Isn't it amazing how it goes from blob to baby in a few weeks?

oneyorkshirepud · 04/12/2015 14:46

Hi Baby Lil!! Grin Honey you are right, it is amazing!

Illiria · 04/12/2015 14:57

Yay Lil

These comparisons they give you are all American words for fruit and veg. Scallions are indeed green onions, Broad beans also have a different name, and a Napa cabbage is white and kind of oblong cabbage that is really good in home made coleslaw.

Incidentally Napa is near to me and famous for its wine. Living in wine country is awesome unless you are pregnant and everyone (DH) decides you can drive them and their mates around wineries all day as you can't drink.

As I have to go in to work tomorrow this isn't really Friday for me. But it's only a half day and all I am doing is looking after a conference so not normal work. Scan on Monday, but very nervous.

Pud Molly et al. So close now :-)

Beautiful baby scan there lil are you feeling anymore relaxed now?

lildottie · 04/12/2015 15:13

I think given a few days for it to sink in I may now start to relax. Currently nervous about stopping pessaries though.

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 04/12/2015 15:16

Thanks for the new thread! And congrats on the scan lil

Smile
Peenut · 04/12/2015 15:29

YAY –beautiful baby scan Lil! From bean to baby!

Molly You deserve all the wine once it isn't contraband again!

Ill wineries while preggo is torture! I've taken to sniffing DH's red wine. The smell will have to be enough for now and sort of makes you feel like you can taste it!

Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine inhales deeply

X

jellypi3 · 04/12/2015 15:31

oh wow lil amazing scan!! blubbing up a bit here!! :)

MollyBloomYes · 04/12/2015 15:56

Fab scan Lil it does seem very unreal initially doesn't it?!

Wine not really my tipple peanut Fortunately he left a nearly full bottle of Jim beam with maple which I'll certainly be looking forward to sampling at some point, even though I usually prefer jack!

5hell · 04/12/2015 16:01

nothing like a good old scan pic to cheer us all up Xmas Grin

quick moan from me to bring things back down....
bras...grrrr Angry
new bras i bought literally 1-2 weeks ago are uncomfortable and probably too small already (or possibly were from the start!). i measured myself and tried the bra-intervention approach to get size, but now think both band and cup are prob too small! Blush am currenlty sat at desk with bra undone, hoping no one can tell. there never seems to be anyone around for measuring/help when i go to a shop, so how can i get the right size - i clearly cant rely upon myself!!? HELP!

oneyorkshirepud · 04/12/2015 16:28

5hell I definitely took my bra off completely more than once at work, couldn't cope with the rib pain! I know at M&S you can book an appointment with the bra measurer so you would know that there would definitely be someone there, you may be able to do this in other places too.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm wine. I have also taken to drinking sniffing DH's wine. Still looking forward to my G & T in labour, I bought a lime today in anticipation.... Smile

ThursdayLastWeek · 04/12/2015 16:52

You might just have grown that much 5hell - I inflate at quite a terrifying rate when upduffed. It's an annoyingly expensive side effect.

Congrats lil I'm delighted for you Smile

I afraid I can't limit myself to smelling the booze! My tipple of choice at the mo is a shandy, because it feels like a nice big drink bit isn't actually.

We had a wonderful time visiting Father Christmas at Eden, DS loved it.

TriJo · 04/12/2015 16:56

I had to undo the bottom two hooks on one the other day because it was digging in like mad and annoying the crap out of me, but I'm too big to go without. The one I'm wearing right now is ridiculously comfy - but I can literally fit the cup on my husband's head. It was also too big in both band and cup 2 weeks ago when it arrived...

TriJo · 04/12/2015 16:57

Regarding booze... was in the pub with DH last night and he was trying a dark IPA and I would have absolutely loved some! Missing mulled wine and hot whiskeys too, tis the season.

ThursdayLastWeek · 04/12/2015 17:04

I am deffo not missing out on mulled wine.

I don't think it's necessary to deny yourself everything anything Wink

honeysucklejasmine · 04/12/2015 17:32

I have had a small (tiny) glass of red wine the other day. Certainly plan on having a glass of champagne on Christmas day.

ThursdayLastWeek · 04/12/2015 17:51

I'm trying to make the most of enjoying it before the heartburn ruins it!

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 04/12/2015 19:41

God I miss wine.

I had maybe a third of a flute of champagne at a big family event a while ago, and have had a tiny sip of DH's wine maybe three times over the whole pregnancy (and I mean, literally, just enough to taste it, not even a proper sips worth!).

I actually always thought that I would be happy to have a very small glass of wine every now and then, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

I'm planning on expressing my milk almost the second it comes in, so I can get a few extra feeds worth have a proper glass of wine ASAP after the birth!

MollyBloomYes · 04/12/2015 19:45

Veeting my foof by feel and prayer because I can't see it under bump and can't do it backwards in mirror. Sat on bed, legs splayed whilst evil smelling cream does its work. Rocking Friday night for me Hmm

I'm 37 weeks Tuesday. Why on earth am I even doing this now?! I'll only have to repeat it!

Fell off the thread now I'm back at work as I am fucking shattered! Am managing the puking ok, just so so tired now I can't nap for a few hours a day 😴

pretzelpieces · 04/12/2015 19:50

Everyone says only a tiny amount gets into breastmilk anyway, don't they? Saying that, I haven't missed the vino as much as I'd have thought i miss pastries like hell though

Spent a lovely day with my family today, which was much needed. Smile NHS antenatal class in the morning, and I'm wondering if it's a waste of time given that we're doing nct? But dp thinks we should go.

pretzelpieces · 04/12/2015 19:52

Omg molly I didn't see your veet post before I replied. Hahaha! Well I am watching Pointless reruns while dp is at his work Christmas do so rock on!
