Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

I think my dh is pregnant too. He's being a miserable irrational prick for no reason. He's clearly having hormone sympathy!

CarrotPuff · 05/12/2015 17:15

Aw sky, be kind to yourself, that instructor clearly was unprofessional. Glad you had good news to cheer you up.

Picked up my mat coat from New Look today. Looks v nice, but no pockets. Who on earth makes winter coats without pockets?! Confused I have no energy or desire to look for something else though, so I'm keeping it. And I do like the look of it despite the lack of pockets.

You lot who went Christmas shopping are absolutely mental. I only went out for a couple hours to pick up the said coat and I'm absolutely drained. Online it is from now on.

Anyone else feeling fat and shapeless? I just don't like the look of anything on me at the moment Confused

fruitlovingmonkey · 05/12/2015 17:16

Haha Lil mine is expanding growing a matching belly!
Mermaid I probably should've mentioned that my 9 week scan was vaginal, so might be why is was easier to see a baby(ish) shape and not just a blob/bean. I think even a few days make a real difference to what you see at that stage though.

Mermaid36 · 05/12/2015 18:18

Thanks everyone! I'm going to see what the Dr's/MW say when I get my booking in appointment. I do feel reassured that I can go and get a scan on my own though...

Today was the first day that DH has seen me in full MS mode (retching, gagging, extreme nausea etc). I think he was quite shocked!
We've managed a trip to ikea, b&q and mothercare...and I have my first pair of maternity trousers! Yay!
Have spent the last 2hrs snuggled in bed watching TV Smile

5hell · 05/12/2015 18:52

Oh mer sorry you're suffering, but hopefully dh will give u lots of sympathy and help now

Had a lush nap this afternoon, woke to find dh had made the bed, and now off to see hunger games ..happy days!!

SecondCupOfTea · 05/12/2015 19:05

We survived the NCT sale! This time we got 33 items of clothing and a bath for under £35. We found one of those baths that sits on the edges of our bath - saves bending over so much. Clothes were mainly sleepsuits, hoodies, trousers and jumpers (including two Xmas ones for this time next year). Also got a wee bath robe (Next) that probably retails for about 20 quid.

We've spent under £55 in the two nearly new sales we've been to and I reckon we have over £200 worth of very good condition clothes. Added to that my mums knitting, were only going to buy a pack of two of new born vests before he's here, and the rest we can work out later Smile

CarrotPuff · 05/12/2015 20:09

Well done Tea, that's very impressive.

I'm so tired I want to cry. Actually, I've already cried... And DP was being a dick.

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 05/12/2015 20:21

Sorry to hear that people's DP's are being dicks! Make sure that you do you, and give zero fucks to them if they are being twats!

What do they even have to be miserable about? Have they had to give up drinking over Christmas and New Year? NO! Bastards.

Grin

second - that's some AMAZING shopping bargains! Bloody good work!

carrot - I think I look pretty alright when I bother to get dressed properly, but then if I see a photo of myself I realise I'm WAY puffier and chubbier than I thought! Grin

We just got back from christmas shopping and dinner. I think we were out for about 3 hours, but it was all productive stuff - DH has finished his shopping now, and I will finish mine in the week.

Peenut · 05/12/2015 20:25

poor you Mermaid! Hope DH is offering sympathies!

I am impressed Tea! A good haul!

I sympathise Puff ... Weep and let it all out. I saw a kid in M&S pushing his granny round in a wheelchair and it made me weep a bit into my 3 for £6 stir fry selection. Aldi wept after and argument about s light fitting with DH. He was being a nob.

TriJo · 05/12/2015 20:25

Got my Mothercare Christmas jumper in store today - nipped into the Kew one on the way back from the racing at Sandown Park. Chuffed :)

Peenut · 05/12/2015 20:26

Aldi wept? Sorry I meant also!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/12/2015 20:32

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. To answer your questions... No, not my regular instructor, no she won't be back next week, yes I wil go back as I'm 3/5 weeks in and have paid. I do think she was just a bit unprofessional, she clearly had attitude towards me and made a point of singling me out for doing the breathing wrong by announcing it in front of everyone instead of coming over to me and helping/asking if there was a reason I was struggling with it. And yes I am sure hormones played some role in my response, like I said I am not very woo and not sure I buy the emotional release concept even though it is apparently common. I think it was more I felt daft and humiliated in a vulnerable situation. But I am absolutely fine now! Grin

Sorry to hear about your MS Mermaid. I found strong mints helped. I am still finding them in my bag sticky little feckers as I had about 100 on hand at any given time. Lucozade and ginger beer were my other cures.

lil how did the outlaws react?

jellypi3 · 06/12/2015 07:09

So sleep is fast becoming a thing of the past for me. My hips and back ache so much in bed :( can't wait for mat leave so I can start napping during the day.

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday planned!

SecondCupOfTea · 06/12/2015 07:32

Morning jelly and all. We had a flippin power cut last night so now I have the task of resetting all the bloody clocks!

Cup of tea for me, and then I'm off swimming. I'm with you on the uncomfy sleep jel, I had awful round ligament pain last night every time I turned over (and I turn over a lot).

My plan for today is to set up my new steam cleaner and blitz the bathroom with it. Ga Would be proud of me Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 06/12/2015 08:06

Morning! Sorry about your sleep woes ladies. I'm still mostly OK... Get up once during night to pee but otherwise OK.

Friend and her husband are over this morning. They live in west country but are in the area visiting with her family so we're going to catch up too. This afternoon I am off to "girls movies" at a friends house. I think it'll be Elf, Love Actually and a lot of snacks, so win win!

Iron tablets do funny things to your poo. Today will be day four on them. No diff in energy levels yet!

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 06/12/2015 08:07

Morning to jelly and tea

I woke up at 1am, 3am and then again at 6am last this morning. Then just lay there for two hours thinking "WAT" before getting up to do the washing up that had piled up. I was sure I would sleep well after all the walking about yesterday but apparently not.

Keeping my finger's crossed there's enough hot water left for the shower DH just went in for....Confused

Happy Sunday to everyone!

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/12/2015 08:14

Morning all,
I'm sorry for all your bad sleep viroids. So far mine is only interrupted for toilet breaks and by DS - long may it continue gx.

I did made a good start on some xmassy jobs yesterday - card writing, sloe gin decanting and the string up for the cards we are starting to receive now Smile

I've got rather an excess of sloe gin though! 1/2 a litre is going to take a while to get through when I can only have the odd one!

MollyBloomYes · 06/12/2015 08:23

No sleep for me. Would have slept like a log but DS never let me go more than an hour, usually only half an hour at a time Angry no idea what was up with him, maybe teeth but no real evidence, just the easiest thing to blame!

lildottie · 06/12/2015 08:27

Morning all

Sympathies on the lack of sleep. I miss sleep! Even when I am asleep ATM my brain won't switch off.

sky we gave her a framed PIC of scan and she had no clue what it was! When I said it was an ultra sound she finally clicked and looking very confused asked me if I'm pregnant! After 5hat there were hugs and tears! Telling db and SIL today then that's everyone who needs to know told.

oneyorkshirepud · 06/12/2015 08:48

Gah, there must be something in the air as I slept badly too (partly my own fault, poor pillow formation last night!) Genuinely considering spending the whole day in the bath today - hips are sore!! Sympathies to everyone else with no sleep, lazy Sundays all round.

Aw, that is lovely Lil Smile

Mermaid36 · 06/12/2015 09:25

Morning all! We're lucky to still have power after the storms last night, the garden is flooded, but no real damage...

No real sleep here either....off to look at carpets today (we don't have any in half the house) but otherwise a (thankfully) lazy Sunday.

lil such a good idea for announcing!

lildottie · 06/12/2015 09:41

Thanks pud/merm we were going round to give her abekated birthday pressie so we put it in a birthday gift bag and made it like another birthday present!

Off out to do some Christmas shopping this morning and hoping to find some aunty/uncle things I can give to my Db and SIL this afternoon to tell them.

Then I just have to start telling my clients eek.

Will I ever stop freaking out between appointments? I'm 2days post scan and already terrified something has happened to my lil bean. Can't bare the wait to next mw appt on 31st. She better listen for HB at that appt! (Will be 16+2)

oneyorkshirepud · 06/12/2015 09:46

Breathe Lil, your little bean is very happy and cosy in there and is wiggling about quite happily even though you can't feel it yet! Maybe try listening to some pregnancy relaxation CDs to try to help? I like the Natal hypnotherapy one, sends me to sleep!

pretzelpieces · 06/12/2015 11:31

Yes tri! (About the Xmas jumper!)

Same jelly, achy back and hips not helping with sleep at all!

honey I'm on day 3 but haven't done a weird iron poo yet cause I haven't pooed since Friday. Confused Are you on 3 tablets a day as well?

lil they usually listen to hb at 16 week appt yep. Sympathy for the worries!

Working up to having a shower...

TriJo · 06/12/2015 11:46

About to head to the gym - with my version of Custer's Last Stand in terms of sports bras. On my frame I can literally go no bigger band-wise than the brand new Shock Absorber 34HH I just poured myself into (I already have the band on the tightest hooks straight out of the package, a 36 would slide around and give no support) and the cup size doesn't go any higher either. We have literally hit the point of no reasonably priced alternatives if I get bigger and I'm only 25 weeks today. Yikes.

Have been a bit reluctant to move off the couch this morning though - little one has been happily kicking away and I don't want to disturb him :)
