For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

Kate I'm sorry you're still feeling down and the docs couldn't fit you in. I'm sure the scan will be perfect tomorrow and will put your mind at ease I'm 8wk 2days so I think I've got quite a while to go before I'm feeling much better. Today doesn't seem as bad and I've been invited out for lunch at a Brazilian restaurant so I'm hoping that might stay down!

Thanks pretz. I was such a grump yesterday. The last few days have been quite a struggle.

Off to try to make myself look human and fit to be out in public. In good news though, wow my nails are incredible! Other people have even noticed.

Had been feeling much better myself until a major vomming episode this morning bleurgh. Sod off now please sickness! Still, really vinegary crisps seem to help.

Last few bits purchased for Christmas today and food shop done. Just the booze run now which DH can do. I'm not getting involved seeing as I won't be able to enjoy any of it .... Little tipple on Friday maybe!

Ready to kill. We were staying with my SILs for a few days until one of them went absolutely nuts on us yesterday. Spent the night hurling abuse at my DH via text and tossing all our stuff out of the room we were staying in while we were visiting my family. We've been nothing but gracious hosts every time they have stayed with us in London, we have done absolutely nothing to deserve this sort of treatment and disrespect and tbh right now I just want to say fuck Christmas and go back to London.

Need to catch up on a few pages, but still pregnant on this end (37+5), after worrying about losing my m plug last week. Desperately hoping mini cheese stays put until the 28/29th. Quite stressed at the prospect I could have to endure labour for hours on end whilst our tiny flat is full of my DH's family, who are all very nice, but I barely know. I want my DH to be focused on me, not guests, and I don't want a fucking audience either!! I don't want to be trapped in the bedroom, or have to make bloody small talk.

I actually lie in bed at night worrying about this....

Tri - that's outrageous! You can either stay and take it, or tell them in no uncertain terms to go fuck themselves, and leave.

I think in your shoes I would be on the first train back to London. If there are other relatives you should be seeing, then you could ask to see them before you leave, or call them and let them know that have decided to go back to London due to your hosts being total psychos. Don't even bother trying to hide the reason!

Oh, and I should hope that your "hosting days in london" are most certainly over!!

God Tri, that's terrible behavior! Sounds like you need to, Mary and Joseph style, find another room. Your sister in law needs to watch a Wonderful Life, or Christmas Carol, so she can reflect on her scroogeness! Christmas sends people bonkers. My aunty and Mum had a massive argument the year my mum was temporarily living with her after a hip replacement. No excuse though –you are her Christmas guests!
