Dooby great news another boy, they're really catching up now.Wow they've given you a date for your c-section...that's a bit scary.
I know I should remember but why are you having a section? Just being nosy because I'm having another one this time as well.

Those of you who have the pelvic support belt things,I'd be interested to know if they help I've got a physio referral from the consultant but she said it was quite early and they probably wouldn't want to see me for a while
Not that early if you ask me I'll be 23wks on Sunday I can't beleive it.

Hi all

Welcome to the newbies be prepared for lots of chat!

AngeGabriel - my physio appt isn't until 11th Jan, and I'll be 27 weeks. Unless I'm going to be sitting down (say, for a meal) then high heels are completley out of the question But my pelvic bone has started to "creak" iykwim (sorry tmi)
On the plus side, thrush is going (which dh is very happy about ) Dignity really does go out of the window during pregancy

Great news on the blues ones making an appearance

Lol at list making - I have got to the point of making a list of all the lists I have.

Is anyone else feeling really tired? If I'm on the go, then I'm fine, but as soon as I stop, or sit down, then I feel absolutley shattered.

CD - hope everything goes well with the move. Just remember to get the really important things are sorted (like your internet so you can keep us updated )

It has just hit me - we will be in our THIRD trimester after Christmas someone please tell me where the time has gone.

Take care all, and have a lovely weekend

xx

CD - what are the bags like? Quite fancy a spotty one that could fit about 4 or 5 nappies in. I have got 4 new nappies today to test (will have to wait til April for results though! - so now have plenty in small size - then can figure out from all the different ones what to do in size 2! Then it all starts all over again

Like the name change rudolph! Am getting very confused with all the name changes

Duck was yummy - now have my ovaltine and off to bed zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Morning ladies

Welcome to Rudolphthereddasnosedreindeer, like the name . Glad to hear that all is well with your bean and less worrying than last time for you.

Congratulations to GMM and Dooby on your blue beans Anyone know what the tally is now?

Hope that the Scottish lot had a good time last night, where did you all go?
Did you have a nice meal last night with DH CaptainDCWB ? Sounded lovely!

Glad to hear that bump belt is starting to help dooby, I actually crossed my legs when I read that your pelvis creaks runnyhabbitdashingthruthesnow - that must be hideous for you.

We are putting our decs up today which must be why DCs are up at this hour even though we have had to wake them every other morning this week - monkeys.

Have a great weekend and remember its only 16 sleeps until christmas

liatHoHoHo · 09/12/2006 08:08

GTT is glucose tolerance test. Tests for diabetes in pregnancy & involves fasting then a blood test then having to neck down a bottle of lucozade then another blood test. Sees how well the body can handle sugar. Friend of mine had diabetes with both pregnancies so had quite a few of them, don't think she enjoyed them much!

CD hope you had a good meal out. Hooray for all these scans - get the feeling blue may be overtaking pink now .

Getting tired here, too - feel like I'm slowing up already & not sleeping well either. Looking forward to Chrismas, though - I love this time of year! Will be another one getting all the lights & decorations up today.

Congrats on the blue beans GMM and Dooby! Can't wait to hear about the scottish meet up and maybe see some pics?

I am starting to feel the extra weight that I am carrying around now - beginning to start to slow up. Perfect timing for putting my feet up at Christmas and eating all those mince pies without feeling guilty!

Putting tree etc. up this weekend - I loooooove Christmas!

Have a good weekend everyone.

Eca and 1b3 had their scans yesterday.Hope they are ok.Someone asked why i am having a section...tres complicated.Had an emergency one with ds and some obstetric probs before him.4th April
Hope we are all well today
Angegabriel...just remembered it was you who asked. Why are you having one?
My dates where about 11th April but i gave myself a 4 day window so between 11th and 15th April. My scan says 16th April but they are putting it as 12th April.
They do sections around 39 weeks here..the first wed before your due date.
If we go on 4th April and my edd for 16th april that will mean i am 38+2..will taht be ok?
Or if we said my edd is 12th that will be 38+4.They don't want to leave it till the 11th.Do you guys think that will be ok though 38+2...[anxious emotion]

Hello everyone - hope having a good weekend.

I think as long as you are past 37 weeks then I think a section would be considered to be at term - wouldn't worry too much

Have been to soft play this morning with the boys - now they are watching Polar Express - it is very quiet in the lounge!!

Off out later into Bath with friend - quite excited - but dreading the parking - normally park & ride but as going to be later back have to go in and find a space....aaaaagggggghhhhh!

Time for cup of tea!

Oh and one good thing to come out of my on-line shopping attempt at argos which failed and eventually cancelled was that I got a £5 voucher because I spent over £50! Made me chuckle - thank you Argos!

I also complained about it taking 30 minutes to get served at our hotel on our spa weekend and they have sent me a nice letter with flowers to follow

And... I am currently in an ebay wrangle with an ebay shop for failing to deliver when had paid for Parcelforce 48 - see ebay topics!

I don't normally complain at all - must be the pg hormones

Must go get that cup of tea now - dh back from golf. Going out soon aswell - so need to make self look divine

Hello everyone!

We had a great scan yesterday. Everything where it should be - hurrah! And... it's a... boy! Woohoo! That's what they reckoned anyway, said they couldn't say 100%, but dh reckoned it was pretty obvious . Really excited, but is wierd to finally know.

Congrats to you too dooby and GMM the boys are making a serious comback, there was obviously not enough testosterone on this thread!

hope everyone's having a good weekend

Madness here, slowly starting to pack up etc - Wowzers, can't believe it is actually happening.

Meal last night was lovely, so nice to get out - hope the Scottish girlies had a fabbo time, what did you get up to? Any pics?

Bump seems to have suddenly got huge, feeling v.big and waddling a bit now.

Congratulations on the good scans and the Blue Sausages Dooby and Eca - Great stuff - What is the Sausage / Hamburger tally now??

Snowflake, don't do spotty nappy bags, but could look into it for you? Currently have plain red and blue ones or ones with cute animal print on them - Stock changes all the time though .....

Dooby, past 37 weeks is consdered full term, so would have thought 38 + 2 would be fine - scary getting your date for C-S now though!!!

DH has woken DD2 up by clumping around.

Thanks liathohoho, I like to know these things!

Ooo forgot to say Captaindippyclaus, sympathise with the packing. We moved in July so pre pg just, but what a huge task. Hope your new place isn't as bloody filthy as ours some people live like pigs, had to muck it out before unpacking.

Ah well all clean, well cleanish, now !

Bless your DH letting you have a lie-in and going out to get you Fish N Chips. I've got a mega-craving for Pains Au Chocolat and he couldn't give a toss. Hasn't given me a lie-in in 3 yrs!!!!!! He is good at other things though, so shouldn't really complain .....
