Slow news day is it girls, there doesn't seem to be that much chat since I was on this morning.

That chart is only half right for me it says it's a blue, but what about the pink aswell?
obviously doesn't work for twins.

Poor eca and pesha hope you both feel better soon.

my DD is in bed supposed to be sleeping but I can hear her up there moaning and groaning away, bless the little tot!

I'm with GMM with the older man. Nearly 20 years between me and DH!

Ooh, poor you Deca - that sounds grim. Do you reckon we have an intact pelvic floor among the lot of us? Mine is wrecked.

Smole, glad the scan was reassuring but what a bummer that they couldn't see everything - will keep my fingers crossed for the next one.

Am feeling a bit more festive - mainly because I bought some mince pies today and also mail-ordered some non-alcoholic wine, bubbly & mulled wine. Remains to be seen if it's actually drinkable or not . I think we'll start putting up some decorations at the weekend.

Poor you deca...ood luck for your scan tomorrow.mY APPT is 1.30...tres nervous.
The chart predicted my ds correctly and says this one will be a boy..hopefully find out tomorrow.
Hope all who feel yukey feel better.
I think i have to stop trawling round town with trolleys now..spd is winning

Hi all.

Sorry to hear some of you are suffering hope you get better soon.

Igot very today at my consultant app.

Firstly they had lost my triple test results,then they couldnt find my scan report my scan was only last thurs so that got me a little mad.They eventually found them and the doc said when is your edd I said 24 april he said I dont think so Its the 30th.He plucked the date out of the sky ffs.
Anyway when I got home I worked it all out.when I had my first scan edd was 26th april.thean at next scan they moved me forward by 2 days so thats the 24th the last scan I had they said nowt had changed. This doc said to go by the measurements of very first scan so that would be the original date of the 26th so where the hell has he got 30th from????

When I see the midwife next month Im gonna tell her to change it as I dont see how this is worked out.

Anyway thanks for the rant!!.
Going to go for now and do some tea will pop back laterxxxxxxx

Hello all. Deca - sounds hideous, poor you. Sounds like you need to get tucked up in bed and pampered rotten.
Also like Casper and Jasper, although typically dh doesn't. He's liking Jack at the moment, but as we've got a single syllable surname Jack will be a bit too simple (and sound very much like a certain grumpy comedian). I am really struggling to find any boys names I like, and I'm getting boy vibes from the bump (in spite of everyone else thinking it's a girl).
Dh is is seriously in my bad books at the moment anyway, so am feeling very grumpy & hormonal towards him right now. But am going out with a load of mums from dd's school tonight so that should be fun anyway and means I don't have to spend the evening with him . Well serves him right.

sorry you had such an annoying doc chilly. doesn't exactly fill you with confidence does it!?!

good luck to you too tomorrow dooby, i'm sure everything will be fine for you. My scan's 11am. Here's hoping our beans aren't too shy! Is anyone else tomorrow?

Grr on your behalf, Tili. You do hear about obstetricians (generally of the older, male, w*nker variety) just randomly adding several days onto peoples due date - saves them the bother of arranging inductions as if you go overdue they say "Oh not according to the dates I gave you" .

Good luck everyone having scans tomorrow.

Am loving everyone's name suggestions, I think we all have great taste. We've always liked Christopher for a boy but we're stumped for a middle name.

evening all. Still stuck at work, not feeling festive so with no hat!!

Very annoying about dates yes but I find it all a bit random anyway - in France they use a 42 week period to calculate the due date! And (obviously) they have alot less inductions etc. I think there's far too much intervention these days anyway and half the problems in labour could be avoided if docs would back off a little! My cousin had both her boys at 42 weeks at home with no problems at all - did have independent midwives though so maybe that's the answer...

Anyway shall get off my soap box now and try to get finished and home!

I'm just back from my mums group Christmas meal. We all met when our babies were about 6wks old. Now they are all 3 and we still meet up once a week. I had a great time

No 3d but saw loads, and got some nice pics too.. he was blowing bubbles, kicking his little legs and waving... then he put his hand in front of his face as if to say "no more pics"

Good morning - FINALLY - a chat to catch up with all you lovely ladies!! Was working flat-out all day yesterday and then had an NCT Branch Committee Meeting in the evening and then straight to bed ......

Mmmmm, I know 1B3 has a scan today (hope it goes well and you get the sexes confirmed!!) I think there's someone else too ...... brain is mush!! Oh yes - dooby and I've already mentioned her - Dur!!

Still all set to complete on the 15th - brain is in hyperdrive!!!
