Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 38th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Thanks honey :) advice much appreciated!

batfish · 05/09/2015 17:15

Hugs jc - well done for going to see your GP and sorry they were so crap, don't let them make you feel guilty about the effects on your baby - the effects of you feelING anxious and depressed throughout your pregnancy and possibly beyond will be much worse, definitely go and see someone else and get yourself sorted. Must be absolutely awful to feel that way.

sky what an absolute witch your MIL is, so glad your hubby is on your side!

ga I totally take my hat off to you with all this house with holes in stuff, I'm so bloody lazy at the mo I just don't know how you're doing it. Today I napped on the sofa whilst mr bat sorted all of the kitchen cupboards and did all the laundry, I think he is nesting! Glad one of us is at least! Oh and in NFMO (oesophagus) I am trialling no rice or noodles or pasta in an evening - this means that I managed a Chinese (meat only and a spring roll) and an Indian (meat, sauce and a little bit of nan bread) this weekend without the night vomming, yay!

I'm a bit gutted today as think I have a touch of the Jeremies Sad. Told mr bat and he asked if I wanted him to have a look - no I bloody don't as I'd like to cling onto every scrap of dignity I can for the next few weeks until he sees it ALL. What do I do?! Is it just one of those lovely pregnancy treats that we have to embrace?? Please tell me they go away!

Oh and I was supposed to pack the hospital bag this weekend and I haven't. 36 weeks tomorrow, tell me it's fine! I did buy some toothpaste to put in it which makes me super organised right?!

mountaingirl01 · 05/09/2015 17:15

BTW.. 8cm with the epi no #ridiculouslyproudofmyself

Jcandy · 05/09/2015 17:56

Armadillo flip xt with all the accessories has been ordered Grin that's a pram for those who don't know and were considering I might have gone completely crazy!

pud how are you doing in ikea? We also braved it and made it put alive although poorer. Did buy a rug for the kitchen sitting area bit to put baby on to play when we are in there. And also a funky crocodile shaped green non slip mat to go in the bath Smile

Decorating is also going well. My dad has painted the ceiling floors and wood work in the nursery. He's just putting the blackout blind up now. Then I think it might be second coat on the woodwork time then done Smile

Get packing bat! No idea how to help with jeremies but as nice as it is for mr bat to offer I think you made the right choice!

Goooooo mountain! Star

pretzelpieces · 05/09/2015 17:57

ga it was my cousin and over the phone so I couldn't punch him, unfortunately. I think someone else said it too? Can't remember that one. Clearly I've got a reputation for putting it about Hmm

Blimey sky glad your DP is onto her. At least you know it's her issue and nothing to do with you personally if she was the same with his dsis's partners.

mountain good job on the epi no!

I'd really like to do daisy birthing classes now I've found out they are not the extortionate price I thought they were and there are classes quite near me!

The website says from 20/25 weeks and I'll be 23 weeks when the October one starts, doesn't that seem early though? Or is that right? If not I'd be gambling on them having one beginning right after Xmas. Hmm Help!

oneyorkshirepud · 05/09/2015 18:18

I survived Ikea! just Was hellish though. I used to go to Ikea before we were ttc if I was broody as it always put me right off having children. I am pleased to report that the pregnancy hormones have not taken over completely and that I am still terrified of 'the children of ikea' which would be a good title for a horror film imo I did get lots of storagey stuff though so I can start to sort out my labour preparation cave (spare room) and then the nursery (office).

Email them and ask Pretzel, my instructor was really helpful and would have been happy for me to start at 21 weeks but I wanted to wait until the next course started.

Go Mountain!!!

Yey for the pram JC, so exciting!

Sky, you need to do whatever works best for your family. Flowers for you.

honeysucklejasmine · 05/09/2015 19:05

I will only be 17 weeks when I start Daisy, but the next "term" would be cutting it a bit close. Will take notes so I don't forget it all!

Mountain 8cms! Get you! Well done.

picklethistle · 05/09/2015 20:00

awesome fanjo efforts mountain

Good work in IKEA pud pissing myself at children of IKEA! We were there this morning too, we bought the kitchen. DH said in the kids department after he is hoping mini pickle to be small, fat and quiet Grin

Nice sounding pram JC, glad you had a nice day today. How exciting pram buying!

gaggiagirl · 05/09/2015 20:17

pud I neeeeeeeeed to do an Ikea shop! I need to call into the restaurant and sweden shop tooooooo! Glad you survived!
mountain I too am beginning epi-no training on this very night. I cant wait to get to 10cms!

oneyorkshirepud · 05/09/2015 20:22

Ga, go during the week. Go early!

Pickle that is hilarious! Your DH sounds traumatised.

Honey I guess once you've done the course you can practise?

mountaingirl01 · 05/09/2015 20:33

Welcome to the club gaggia! It gets a bit addictive ...

JC I meant to say earlier - your GP really does sound crap. Is there a mh specialist at your surgery? I definitely recommend you go see someone who is at least going to talk to you about your options with a bit more care and attention

I haven't packed all of my bag yet either

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/09/2015 20:37

StarStarStarStarStar for the fanjo stretching and toothpaste buying and IKEA trips. All I managed today was a chocolate and black cherry fudge cake with vanilla whipped cream so I can eat my feelings... Oh and an email to a client acknowledging that we are doing a crap job and suggesting some changes.

gaggiagirl · 05/09/2015 20:42

Black cherry fudge cake? Yessssss!

oneyorkshirepud · 05/09/2015 20:56

Oh wow that cake sounds amazing!!!

Ladies you are freaking me out, can you pack your bags already please?! Has palpatations. Purple you've done yours, right? RIGHT??

pretzelpieces · 05/09/2015 21:05

Thanks honey, pud.

Mmm cake. I had a massive piece of coffee and walnut cake today, it was lush. Cake do not remind me of these things when I have a giant baby

MollyBloomYes · 05/09/2015 21:06

Oh god black cherry fudge cake. My lemon yoghurt pales in comparison. Though it was quite a creamy one so sort of tasted like a lemon posset. Yummers.

Sky your Mil sounds awful. I don't know what the answer is with your DH and dsd visiting, I guess down to them? Good that he's supporting you in not seeing her though.

I actually bloody love idea. All the fake rooms and clever ideas of doing things, keep deluding myself that when we finally have our own house I'll replicate all the storage solutions. Never. Going. To. Happen.

I'm 23 weeks and have gained 5 kilos. That's not great is it? But my jeans feel loose?

Has anyone heard from Gouda? Feel like she hasn't posted in a while?

Jcandy · 05/09/2015 21:21

Pie!!!

Whilst the rest of us chowed down on runny eggs and shellfish, deeply sneezed out a baby!...It's superb scans all around and only the occasional nose-vom on JS Grads 38!
gaggiagirl · 05/09/2015 21:30

Hello pie!!!!!! Get in my face!

molly she hasn't put a few folk haven't since hacker gate.

purplewhale · 05/09/2015 21:32

Evening viroids. I'm impressed with IKEA and epi-no work today.

I managed to spend all day burning a CD for operating theatre. Would, have been easier to take an iPod dock. Who knew that iTunes won't burn a cd if you didn't purchase the track! WTAF! It kept missing them out!
I went old, school and got the pic to do it then played it in the car to find loads missing too! Cars don't play MP4!

Been out for dinner tonight, last one ever when we don't need a babysitter!

Hurray for prams JC, we looked at the flip too Smile

Bat, pack the fcuking bag ffs! Have you got the list?

gaggiagirl · 05/09/2015 21:51

bat I'm 90% hospital bag packed. I'm only lacking pjs phone charger and snacks.

jellypi3 · 05/09/2015 21:51

Grrr just did a long post and lost it

jellypi3 · 05/09/2015 21:52

Long and short of it was I have been given a tonne of baby stuff today. Woo.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/09/2015 22:03

Oh that pie looks delish!

ga way to be prepared!

For those interested in the cake:

1 box devils food cake mix
1 tin black cherry dessert filling (I used Princes)
6 tbs vegetable oil
3 eggs

Mix and bake at 160 in a fan assisted oven or 180 regular oven for 25-30 mins until a skewer comes out almost clean

Let cool completely.

Topping

Whipping cream whipped with a packet of vanilla pudding mix (angel delight) or Bird dessert mix and vanilla extract. Whip until thick and holds shapes.

**this cake best eaten cold, especially next morning for breakfast as becomes denser and fudgier as it cools. Is deceptively wholesome and simple tasting and believe it or not, not too sweet.

oneyorkshirepud · 05/09/2015 22:33

Ooh what baby stuff did you get Jelly?

Eris is insisting on sleeping on my head tonight and DH just put loud music on downstairs and woke me up. Grump!!

gaggiagirl · 05/09/2015 22:38

sky that's dirty talk!
pud what a bell end!
jelly list.....go!
