Whilst the rest of us chowed down on runny eggs and shellfish, deeply sneezed out a baby!...It's superb scans all around and only the occasional nose-vom on JS Grads 38!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 38th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

It's okay, no need to apologise, I've got myself into a right flap on more than one occasion when baby goes quiet. Talk it through with your mw on weds for reassurance and hopefully you will get to hear the hb then too. Flowers for your stress

oneyorkshirepud · 12/09/2015 14:09

P.s. I think most mws listen for the HB after 16 weeks so you should be good.

pretzelpieces · 12/09/2015 14:19

Thanks pud

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 12/09/2015 15:33

Have just eaten seven child sized bags of haribo left over from Easter 2014 Blush and two packs of fizzers

jellypi3 · 12/09/2015 15:38

pret I have felt movements but they are still flutterings no proper kicks or anything yet and still very sporadic. As pud says it's common not to feel anything this early. If your worries call your mw :)

pud I've got a gym ball!!

MollyBloomYes · 12/09/2015 16:00

emerges blinking into the light hello everyone, after hitting upon the idea of doing handmade gifts for Christmas in a bid to save money I appear to have fallen into a Pinterest hole. It's very addictive isn't it?

Just about caught up, lovely baby news for loads of people! I'm so bloody excited for my squish even though it seems ages away!

honeysucklejasmine · 12/09/2015 16:18

I try not to go on Pintrest, its too dangerous for me. Have about a million fat quartets ready to be turned in to various baby toys. including the back and white ones I was pleased to find for the first few weeks when they can see naff all

oneyorkshirepud · 12/09/2015 16:59

Ooh Honey put some links on for those toys, I am bored of doing sock toys now and need a new project. I really don't need a new project, I need to finish decorating my house.

Speaking of, is two naps in one day acceptable? The first one wasn't very long as DH woke me to go to the amazing antiques place. We did get a lovely kitchen cupboard thing though so it was worth it. But I think I need more nappage.

Bfp on the undergrads! One in, one out!

I need a nap so bad.
I am so tired and sicky and headachey and emotional this afternoon - but DH is out and I can't switch off til DS is in bed. MAN is he hard work at the mo

I love Pinterest - I use it for 'crafty mummy' and running inspiration!

ThursdayLastWeek · 12/09/2015 17:16

Oh and it's great to help plan a wedding

batfish · 12/09/2015 17:35

Booooo for ear infection sky, I used to get them loads when I was younger and they're bloody awful.

Christ on a bike there is absolutely no way I can be top of the list, I'm really getting quite freaked out now. I feel like a terrible person because I don't even feel excited, just scared about the massive life change to come! I also don't really like that it could literally just happen at any time. Like now for example, I'm shattered after having spent all day out and about trekking around and the last thing in the world I want to do right now is to have a million hours of contractions and then push a massive baby out of my fanny. Twud be most inconvenient.

ga I agree that rhi will be next, don't they just fall out when you're not looking after you've had 2? I actually predict 12th October for me. Although I would like 5th because 5.10.15 would be rather a cool birthday. We were married on 13th and so was my sister so 13th would be good too but I don't suppose we can choose these things!

NFMHB (hospital bag) - snacks and fragrance free shower gel purchased Grin (Rome wasn't built in a day)

oneyorkshirepud · 12/09/2015 18:36

Good work on the hospital bag Bat and I would also totally freak out if I was top of the list, try to take it easy if you can.

Squee! Honey those projects are great! I have some lovely fabric scraps left over from a quilt I made for my friends little girl, perfect for the polka dot mobile, and I can then theme the rest of the nursery decor around that! YEY!!

Had 2nd nap. Still want to sleep. But should probably make dinner. It is going to involve Yorkshire puddings in order to give me the inspiration I need to get out of bed and make it!

batfish · 12/09/2015 19:04

Mmm Yorkshire puddings, enjoy!

I'm very unhappy that my bed and I no longer have the love affair that we used to. I've always been able to fall asleep easily and sleep heavily until the alarm goes off and I would absolutely love being in bed. But recently I almost dread going to bed - I can't fall asleep easily, don't feel particularly comfortable, wake up numerous times for sleep vomming/being too hot/cold/restless/needing a pee or just for no apparent reason. I know I can't expect to be 8+ months pregnant and still sleeping like a pro but I feel like the joy has gone from life!!

Trurouge · 12/09/2015 19:10

Batfish I feel your agony, I also have lost any relationship I once had with my bed and have become somewhat of a zombie. The one thing that was getting me through this was being able to get so much done while the rest of the house was asleep, however, I have now torn a stomach ligament and have been told to take it easy! Ha! I'm halfway through painting an 8 seater dining table and chairs and the downstairs loo has to be decorated before any new arrivals.

batfish · 12/09/2015 19:30

Oh tru you poor thing that sounds so painful! I don't actually get up, I just toss and turn and wish for the morning to come! It's really sad! I'm tired now and really quite cosy on the sofa but I know as soon as I go to bed I'll be wide awake! When I first got my bump pillow I thought it was the most comfortable thing in the world ever and now it just annoys me - but if I don't use it then I roll onto my back and end up with stabbing pains in my side! Grrrrr. Yet despite this I'm still in no hurry for the baby to arrive haha.

Trurouge · 12/09/2015 19:45

Batfish I'm the same, I cosy up on the sofa and could fall asleep right there but the moment I get into bed I'm wide awake. I did try sleeping on the sofa one night and although I slept better than usual I woke up aching. I only get up cause I know my tossing and turning disturbs DH and the fact that he's asleep next to me only adds to my frustration lol.

gaggiagirl · 12/09/2015 20:01

Evening all. We are moved in. In other news I thought labour had started in tk Maxx, it hasn't, I've just over done it today. Boo.

rdm10 · 12/09/2015 21:14

one, I'm 32 weeks today- it's flying by!! Feeling ok really so can't complain (although I do!!)

pretzel I didn't feel anything til around 24 weeks (anterior placenta) now bambino does the Macarena daily!!

Could anyone please add me to the fb group? I know I don't post often but I do follow you ladies and I reaaally want to see the baby and scan pics!! x

Trurouge · 12/09/2015 21:24

Oh, while we're on with adding to Facebook group can someone point me in the right direction too. Same as rdm10, I don't often post but with more and more of us becoming imminent it would be lovely to see some baby pics

pretzelpieces · 12/09/2015 22:32

Thanks rdm I'm really hoping there's a harmless explanation like that for it. Wednesday seems far away. If I'm still very worried on Monday I might ring the mh midwives and ask if they can check me any earlier. At the least they might be able to calm me down!

pretzelpieces · 12/09/2015 22:34

(I mean if they can't check me earlier, they might talk through it with me.)

gaggiagirl · 12/09/2015 22:50

Oh pretzel I hope things feel better soon.

LaLaLaaaa · 13/09/2015 03:46

Hiya

Well done on move ga!

Pretzel try not to worry it's way too early for you to worry about not feeling baby. You'd likely only be feeling bubble or butterfly type feelings just now and many people don't feel anything until 20 weeks plus. Guidance is to not worry until 24 weeks about tracking movements. As always though ask mw if you're worried

I can add to Facebook pm me your email address

batfish · 13/09/2015 06:24

pretzel I know it's impossible but like others have said - try not to worry, definitely early for you to be feeling regular movement or even maybe any at all. I know it's a shit thing to hear because I hated it when I was worried and people said oh it's too early! We all know what it's like though to be desperate for some reassurance so keep talking to us!

Yay ga on the move! Shame it wasn't real labour in tk maxx, you might have got a goody bag!

I abandoned my big pillow last night, it was pissing me off taking up the whole bed. Can't decide if I am better with or without it - didn't particularly sleep well last night either but it was nice to have a bit more space! Baby had a very active night, every time I woke up it was jumping around, had a couple of pretty painful rib kicks!
