started a new thread as the old one was getting full up. Thought I would post the link to stats here too so people can update if they want!

Good luck Q.

Oh god marmite i always blush in these situations. My face is so readable!!

I phoned the hospital again, she didn't know who I was and I certainly don't have an appointment. Rang the local clinic and asked to speak to a midwife, the receptionist said they're all busy. I explained the situation to her and she was the most helpful of the lot. She said this isn't on and she'll have a word with the midwives asap.

So I'm currently waiting for the midwife or the hospital to ring me... not holding my breath though. So glad this is my last baby!!

Haven't seen DH for two weeks and that was just a flying visit... really hope he's home soon.

Aww Q that's brilliant!! I'm so jealous. Needless to say no one phoned me!! Did you get a due date?

Rosieblossom123 · 07/09/2015 16:54

Q sooo cute :) what's your due date?

QforCucumber · 07/09/2015 17:24

10th march - was worried as the consultant wanted to see me, turns out after my mmc previously the reason I was kept in for 4 days and needed 2 transfusions was because I lost 1.7 litres of blood and had I not been in the hospital it's a lethal amount of loss!! I wasnt aware it was that much.
Consultant has no worries and am signed off from her. Was £4 for one picture. And now I'm going to relax haha.

MyNameIsSuz · 07/09/2015 17:28

Yay Q! Great news, and we're due date buddies too Grin

ffauxlivia · 07/09/2015 17:53

Q yay!!!! So happy for you, what a great pic

marmite omg I can't believe she did that! I remember NHS website said check with your GP but pessaries normally ok - you have to be careful inserting it and use your finger instead of applicator - risk of irritating cervix I think

rosie I am with you - peeing had died down but last night got up 4 times!?!

beautiful so frustrating, I hate it when things like that are out of control and no-one seems to understand how important it is to you. Fingers crossed you get sorted asap

Am starting to get nervous about tomorrow, paranoid that all my symptoms have gone or are lessening, even though I know it's supposed to be normal around now.

I went for a bra fitting yesterday since I feel like I'm spilling out of all my bras, and the lady tried to tell me that I needed a size SMALLER than the one I was wearing?! So I freaked out that since my boobs are no longer hurting maybe they are shrinking back to normal too?! But after trying some on I think maybe she was just useless Hmm

QforCucumber · 07/09/2015 17:56

ff my symptoms have pretty much disappeared, other than the odd headache and needing to wee a lot that's it.
It's unbelievable - I'd got myself so certain that it wasn't ok, and there it was chewing on its hand!
beautiful I can't believe they haven't been in touch, just seems so disorganised - really feel for you.

Me624 · 07/09/2015 18:28

Lovely pic Q!

I was back at work today after two weeks off. Once I'd sorted through all the emails I got round to telling a few colleagues (already told boss before I went on holiday). I feel oddly shy about it! Few more in my team to tell tomorrow who weren't in today, after that I'll just mention it to people in the wider company if and when it comes up rather than making a point of announcing to all and sundry.

IndomitabIe · 07/09/2015 18:43

Great pic Q!

Sorry to hear they still haven't rung beautiful. Hope they ring tomorrow. I hope your DH is home soon too. There's no way I could cope with several children, pregnancy and no help.

ffaux I've had a worrying lack of symptoms today too. I've only wee'd 3 times at work (which is 3 times more than normal though), not eaten my own body weight every 2 hours, felt generally ok and my boobs aren't that sore either.

I did almost fall asleep just after break though (had a PPA).

I am quite concerned that there'll be nothing there next week. Or the worse alternative to nothing. But there's not a lot I can do about it.

maybebabybee · 08/09/2015 09:13

lovely pick Q :)

I wouldn't worry about symptoms vanishing, they're supposed to about now, aren't they?

I still have the remnants of sickness and also still have sore boobs, but nothing else really.

marmitemofo · 08/09/2015 10:06

congrats on your scan Q Grin

after a horrific day of sickness on Sunday, I've been feeling a bit better yesterday and today. almost normal. but exhaustion has gotten worse - I'm ok during the day but come 8pm it's game over. I can see that DP is starting to lose patience with me a bit though he's trying not to say anything (I just know him well enough to see he's getting irritated). I can see his point, I've basically been useless for about 7 weeks now, but it's still tough because as much as I want to be more helpful.. I'm just so tired. He's had so much on at work though and has had to do work in the evenings, so I think also having to keep on top of the house whilst I sit around feeling sorry for myself/fall asleep at 8pm is starting to get to him. He's away with work this week till Friday so I'm going to have to cope with keeping the house together by myself... not looking forward to it Confused

Same here I still have sore boobs, the urge to wee all the time and sickness.

Yesterday I felt flutter in my belly don't know what that was so strange, is it normal to be feeling anything this early, its my first pregnancy and I'm 14+2 today.

TriJo · 08/09/2015 11:52

Booking appointment this morning - was grand, loads of questions as expected. Have my scan on Friday and got a date for my 16 week appointment in early October too.

12 weeks today, feels like a little milestone :)

QforCucumber · 08/09/2015 12:31

any update beautiful ??

Good luck today ff

and that's great news trijo reading that reminded me to book my 16 week appt, just called and its on the 30th. All seems so much more real now.

I think I've decided I'm not coming back here after maternity leave, will just send in my notice while I'm off, not been happy here for a while and DP has said as long as I can find alternative work then it's fine - we can't afford me to be a SAHM full time. Have read my notes from the scan, they say NT is 2.5mm and that baby is measuring slightly small for age but not enough to worry about. Had bloods taken for full NT testing, said a letter will come in 2 weeks if low risk or a call in 2-3 days if high.

rosie I read that feelings can start at approx 16 weeks for some, so maybe you are feeling a little something?

TheNewMrsD · 08/09/2015 12:33

Hi everyone, been struggling to upload a pic but here is my scan from yesterday Smile It was amazing seeing the legs kicking and baby doing rollovers.

They put me at 12+1 so a EDD of 20th March.

Apologies if this message is on here several times in one way or another, train wifi is not my friend today!

Me624 · 08/09/2015 13:09

Congrats MrsD!

Rosie is it your first dc? I've read that you usually don't feel it till a bit later with the first one, but it could be! I'm 14+4 and definitely haven't felt anything yet, can't wait until I do start feeling it though!

Rosieblossom123 · 08/09/2015 13:57

Q Yeah that's what I read so I really don't know? it was on and off yesterday like butterflies in my belly lol

Me yeah it's my first and that's what everyone says that I should be feeling things later on, I don't know maybe because I want to feel so bad! Made me smile but not sure if it is baby haha

MrsD Congrats :) Isn't it beautiful seeing baby having a party in there :)

my 16 week app is booked for the 21st to hear baby's heart beat with the midwife, and 20 weeks scan on the 16th Oct who was my scan buddy?

BeautifulLiar · 08/09/2015 14:07

Congrats Mrs D!

I finally have good news!

My scan is tomorrow at 5pm - they're actually working late just for me Blush MIL is going to pick up the kids and feed them.

And the weird thing is... as i said, DH has been working away, all over the UK. However the company has decided to put him through his apprenticeship, and his first day at college is tomorrow... 10 minutes away from the hospital!! I'm SO happy he can make it to this scan, and of course he is too.

So everyone please join me in hoping that the baby co operates tomorrow!! Think I might eat a giant bar of chocolate beforehand or something!

QforCucumber · 08/09/2015 14:12

Great news beautiful finally starting to look better for you now.

I don't think I'll feel any movements for a while, in the scan yesterday the lady was saying baby is very low down, still tucked away in my pubic bone - she had to put the thingy at a weird angle to find it haha but said it's not a problem and as it grows it'll soon move out of there and higher up.

rosie this is my 1st too, seems like we are in the midst of all the experience here, glad of it - people can help us with any questions.

Rosieblossom123 · 08/09/2015 14:14

Beautiful Yay that's great news, maybe it all happened for a reason so your dp can go with you? :)

BeautifulLiar · 08/09/2015 14:20

Aww Rosie I never thought of that! Really like that thought :)

As for movements... i remember feeling flutters with Baby no.1 at 17 weeks - and I was/am a size 8 like you Rosie (sure you said you were an 8?!). I used to drink pepsi and lay on my stomach to feel him move - errr probably not recommended!

dobbythedoggy · 08/09/2015 14:28

Finally starting to think I might be able to enjoy a bit of this pregnancy. I really loved being pregnant with dd but this time so far it's felt more like an endurance exercise. 15 weeks tomorrow and now sure that I'm starting to feel the odd flutters, have been questioning if I have or haven't felt things for the last few weeks. Actually having the will to do things again to, things that I want to do not just things that NEED to be done. Went shopping on saturday and actually managed to try on and buy some really comfy maternity jeans. On sunday got out to church and still had the energy to spend the rest of the day helping dh tame the jungle our garden had turned into and defrost the frezer. Yesterday tool dd to the park and toddler group.

Not long until my 16 week appointment with the midwife now and after that it's less than 3 weeks until next scan.

Rosieblossom123 · 08/09/2015 14:29

Beautiful defo I believe that everything happens for a reason, 100% that's the reason :) I'm sure you were gutted that he wasn't going weren't you!

Yes I am hun well I was haha I'm a 10 now but still fairly small apart from my bump ha maybe it was just gas? I really don't know but from what all you girls saying sounds way to early for me to be feeling anything! Yeah maybe I wont try that hahaha Wink

LCR77 · 08/09/2015 14:45

Scan buddy here Rosie also having 20 wk scan on 16th Oct. 16 wk midwife next Fri so hopefully will get to hear the heartbeat. It is so lovely to hear it galloping away, really looking forward to it. Last time I insisted on hearing it at every MW appt as I didn't have any movement until 26 weeks. After then movement was minimal because of placenta at the front. Worried so much last time, hearing the heartbeat was great reassurance.
