started a new thread as the old one was getting full up. Thought I would post the link to stats here too so people can update if they want!

sorry to hear you're still having a worrying time, ginger. thinking of you. Flowers

MyNameIsSuz · 02/09/2015 16:51

Sorry you haven't been reassured today ginger Flowers

DreamingOfThruxtons · 02/09/2015 17:25

Hello again. Slow day at work, so am distracting myself from thoughts of cake by looking for maternity gear on Ebay (my jeans are really starting to dig in).

Now, please help me out here- am I hallucinating, or are these trousers made of cake..?

DreamingOfThruxtons · 02/09/2015 17:26

Oh, really sorry. Didn't read to end of thread. Bad timing. Blush

lilmissiehopeful · 02/09/2015 17:28

Ladies I'm afraid I'm bowing out too sadly. After all fine at 12 week scan last week I had a small bleed this morning and epu scan just confirmed little babe's heart has stopped beating probably at 12+4. I am totally bereft. We had told friends and family after last week, and thought we could get excited this time after 3 mcs. Seems Mother Nature has other ideas. Wishing you all the very best with your March cherubs from here xxxxx

maybebabybee · 02/09/2015 17:32

Oh lilmiss I am so sorry. How cruel. [Flowers] to you and your family.

DreamingOfThruxtons · 02/09/2015 17:33

lilmissiehopeful, I am so, so sorry for your loss. Sad

magpiedreams · 02/09/2015 17:34

Oh no lil so sorry to hear this. Feels so unfair - we all assume when all ok at the 12w scan we will be bringing home a perfect baby after 6 more months, this must hurt so badly for you.
Sorry to hear about the NT measurement too ginger. Hope you can get back into the nhs system ASAP to get sorted with your options re cvs / amino etc.

DreamingOfThruxtons · 02/09/2015 17:35

Er... and my ill-timed jest should have included this link: sorry, I will just shuffle away off for a while until my brain is fully functional. May take a while.

MyNameIsSuz · 02/09/2015 17:38

Oh no lil, I'm so sorry.

magpiedreams · 02/09/2015 17:38

Lol dreaming! Yes, they are cakey trousers. Or maybe the picture is to represent that you will never for into size 8 Isabella O's if you eat too much cake?? Or that's probably just me...

BeautifulLiar · 02/09/2015 18:02

I like the thought of a laidback sleepy baby than a naughty one!

So sorry littlemissie; seriously how cruel can you get? Will miss you on here xx

RhubarbAndMustard · 02/09/2015 18:07

I'm so sorry Lil, please look after yourself.

Ginger hoping the bloods give you more hope and I think the risks with the other tests are quite low. Such a stressful time for you.

TheBubGrower · 02/09/2015 18:11

So sorry to hear that lilmiss

Ginger I have a friend who had a nuchal fold of over four but ended up with a low risk factor when the bloods came back. Fingers crossed for you

MangoJuiceTillMarch · 02/09/2015 18:17

Hey ladies, also marking my spot, although I'm a pretty quiet one.

I wanted to ask how you are all dealing with the fatigue. Like most of you, after lunch at work, I literally want to put my head on my desk and cover it with my cardi for a power nap. No one at work knows I'm pregnant yet, so they must all think I'm having some seriously wild nights....

Is there anything u can eat or drink to give me a boost till the end of the day??

MangoJuiceTillMarch · 02/09/2015 18:19

So sorry to read your post lilmiss

Take care of yourself x

marmitemofo · 02/09/2015 18:21

I'm so sorry for your loss lilmiss Flowers

So sorry to hear that lilmiss, will be thinking of you x

julesldn · 02/09/2015 18:27

Lilmiss - so terribly sad to hear your news, I really am. Please take care of yourself and wishing you so much luck for the future ????

Ginger - also really hoping the blood tests and other tests have a more positive outcome for you. Keep us updated if you can xx

Mango - snacks throughout the day and keeping hydrated but to be honest I spent the first 10 weeks having to go back to bed after sending about 4 emails (self employed!) only just coming out of the exhaustion phase now. Hopefully you can tell them all soon and it will become a lot easier!

lilmissiehopeful · 02/09/2015 18:44

Thanks all for the kind words. It feels very cruel indeed. We are devastated. At the moment feeling like we can't put ourselves through trying again. 4 miscarriages of 5 pregnancies is rubbish odds and I'm not sure I have the emotional strength to cope with another one going wrong.

beautiful I will miss you all too. Feel like we'd all really started to bond :-)

Wishing you all the v best x

Gingerlady123 · 02/09/2015 19:28

Lilmiss- so sorry to hear that, take care of your self.

Thanks everyone, hopefully bloods plus being 21 will lower the risk. If not it's not definite is it and t18 and t13 are rare conditions so I think the most likely cause will be downs/organ problems or nothing. Hopefully baby can have a good life, we will love it whatever. Still a bit worried this was the third scan when it just doesn't move. No hand or leg action unless i shake my belly all around.

IndomitabIe · 02/09/2015 20:07

So sorry lil, that's devastating. Hope you have better luck in future.

You're sounding a bit more pragmatic, ginger. You're right, there's a lot going for you. We'll all have our fingers crossed for you.

Thruxton that's an interesting name. Motor racing fan or in the area? Haven't looked at your link yet.

I've abandoned all hope of finding the maternity jeans I want. I've discovered an old, wide, too-big belt that covers the undone button and most of the fly of my low cut jeans. That'll have to do. Hoping my work trousers can do the same thing on Monday.

Gingerlady123 · 02/09/2015 20:19

Thanks. it's growing on track, it's even measuring a day ahead now with a heartbeat of 171bpm . I'm sure if they saw any other soft markers they would point them out as well.
Even if we are considered high risk we still have every chance of a healthy baby, even 1:5 the other way around is 4:5 which sounds better. So line 100 women up with that's still only 10 per cent who will have a defect. I think the nt test causes more worry than it's worth.
It's still hard though.

JoannaZZ · 02/09/2015 20:24

lilmiss I'm so sorry, can't imagine what you're going through Sad Take care of yourself, give yourself time to recover before deciding whether to try again.

DreamingOfThruxtons · 02/09/2015 20:24

Indomitable- one day, one day I will own a Triumph Thruxton. Even though it might take a bit longer now!

I have ordered some Thai fisherman pants. I feel slightly dirty, but they looked so comfy...
