started a new thread as the old one was getting full up. Thought I would post the link to stats here too so people can update if they want!

Same here me I hate iron tablets as they really do muck up my digestive system, which I'm already having problems with due to pregnancy! I'm just so tired Sad

I don't think I'd be that bothered if they couldn't work out the sex at the 20 week scan - I'd like to know but can see the appeal of waiting (DP on the other hand is extremely impatient) so I think I'd be a bit disappointed but not totally disappointed! I'm still convinced I'm having a boy. Our twenty week scan is on 20th October so still almost 5 weeks to go!

I may have accidentally'd another pair of maternity jeans thanks to someone putting a 35% off Gap code up somewhere else on MN... LUCKYGAP ftw :)

MangoJuiceTillMarch · 18/09/2015 16:29

blondie we are due date buddies.

Also had my 12 week scan yesterday and can't get over how amazing it was. Baby was doing trampoline tucks and tumbles..... And I could feel nothing.

My 20week scan is 12th November..... So far away

magpiedreams · 18/09/2015 17:44

Congrats on the scans blondie and mango!
Still on the countdown to mine ... 6 sleeps!

Trinpy · 18/09/2015 19:27

Congratulations blondie and mango! Lovely to hear about all the little March babies growing nicely Smile. And 6 days isn't too much longer to wait magpie!

My 20 week scan isn't until 5th November. So long to wait still...

MyNameIsSuz · 18/09/2015 19:32

Mine's on the 20th too marmite! 9.30am so no time to get nervous. I'm expecting it to be a boy too, this pregnancy is pretty much the same as my first.

Gingerlady123 · 18/09/2015 20:17

This is my 12 week scan photo.
based on the nub theory i am guessing a little girl but who knows.
we find out on 30th october and i cant wait! just hope baby plays ball. I see no shame in finding out at 20 weeks. its a surprise no matter what. im just to impatient. dp still doesn't want to find out though.
We have been liking the name Hazel for a girl this week.

just got my nhs combined screening results back.

downs risk 1:3602
t18/18 risk 1:75942
so very low risk. this time my hcg is 1.77 mom and papp-a is 2.26 mom.
last time it was 2.99 mom and 2.60 mom. how does this vary? do i need to worry that my hcg has decreased in mom value?

IndomitabIe · 18/09/2015 21:31

Trinpy my 20 week scan is on 5th Nov too! Might bump into you (but might not know it! What's the etiquette for rl mnetter encounters?!)

Ginger glad to see your numbers come back low risk. No idea about HCG & Papp-a though.

My DS result came back today at 1:7000, which is good.

Spotting has stopped as far as I can tell. And I'm fairly convinced I've felt it moving around down there. (Though will accept I've probably imagined the whole thing).

16 week appointment is on 9th October. Seems ages away!

Jenbee1 · 18/09/2015 22:03

Great news on all the scans. Had mine today. Just sneak into this group as my edd is now 31st march.

Gingerlady123 · 18/09/2015 22:11

1:7000 is very good. My age risk for downs is 1:1488 so very pleased that combined test brings this down even more. And very happy with the most important risk factor to me which is t13/18. Downs was never scary to me but these two are
In- when is your due date? mine is 19th march and my 16 week app is 8th october. I know what you mean it does seem ages away. I dont think i will hear heartbeat at 16 week app as i have an anterior placenta.
this is my belly at 13+6 today. I feel massively bloated if anything.

blondiejess1982 · 18/09/2015 23:29

Mango my next scan is Friday 13th November!!! Should I be worried that it's on an unlucky day?!!! Normally stuff like that is stupid to me, but I genuinely am over thinking it Confused !!!

BeautifulLiar · 19/09/2015 08:02

Blondie - with my last baby the 20 week scan was due to be on Friday 13th July. The (amazing) midwife took one look at it and said "Shock you don't want it then do you?! We'll make it for Wednesday 11th."

Ironically that was when the baby didnt co operate, and I had the rude sonographer (see above!) so I always kinda wished we'd just stuck with the 13th.

Missdee2014 · 19/09/2015 09:07

Hey everyone, not been on due to the lack of app driving me nuts!

We are currently debating finding out or not. Dp is desperate to know but I really don't think I want to know. I didn't find out with the girls and loved the surprise. I think he's just so desperate for a boy this time so wants to prepare himself if it's another girl lol Me on the other hand couldn't care less, as long as he or she is healthy I'm happy. I say do what is right for you and your family though, doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

Me624 · 19/09/2015 10:18

Morning ladies. I'm on a work conference this weekend. Gosh networking is hard work when you can't have a drink! These things are rather work hard play hard and I was very jealous of all the people playing hard last night with numerous cocktails! At least I'm fresh this morning though unlike them! It's difficult because I'm not obviously pregnant yet (well I think I am, but no one else does) - the one person I did tell last night said she would never have guessed and assumed my sparkling water was a G&T (I wish!)

blondiejess1982 · 19/09/2015 10:31

Beautiful I think I am being silly with Friday the 13th. But I might talk to OH and see what he thinks (he will think I am silly too I would imagine!)
If we can find out the sex at the next scan I am definitely going to (too impatient).
I am a little nervous about the next week and waiting for the blood results for Down's syndrome and things. My babies measurement thingy was 1.5 but the girl who took my blood pointed out that there are still risks and not to focus on the measurement and wait for the bloods.
All this is scary stuff isn't it!?
I couldn't see any nub on my scan either to guess the sex. If I post the photo here might someone take a look? Just for fun, not to rely on! Smile
What does everyone have planned today?

ThePug · 19/09/2015 12:45

Me I hear you! Arrived at my conference in the US last night which is usually a pretty fun and boozy affair. We always end up having to meet up with people I only see a couple of times a year as soon as we arrive and the combination of no drinking and having to stay awake at what was 3am UK time was tough. And having to just drink water as there was nothing else I could have was so boring. It's going to be a long week!

ThePug · 19/09/2015 12:46

Forgot to say, fortunately I have a rather large (bloat) bump already so everyone spotted it immediately and was congratulating me, which was quite lovely.

TriJo · 19/09/2015 13:47

Got my letter with the combined test results this morning - risk 1:43,000. Still quite a relief to see it even if we weren't expecting anything particularly bad!

blondiejess1982 · 19/09/2015 13:59

That is great Trijo. I am nervous about mine. I should hear something by Friday.

BeautifulLiar · 19/09/2015 14:13

I'm guessing it's gonna be a while before I get my results I think, but hopefully if I haven't heard anything by Wednesday it's good news.

I took the kids to the library and Subway today, DS spent his birthday money and I killed some red ants... just reading in the garden!

Feel so disappointed again... surely it's not frigging normal to work 7 days a week? So sick of it, DH was supposed to be here tonight/tomorrow but we won't see him at all now. I still have morning sickness and need to do all the laundry and homework as a bare minimum, hate that it's all down to me. I could throttle him!

blondiejess1982 · 19/09/2015 14:29

That sounds tough on you Beautifulliar. It's hard going working a demanding job. I am doing the same and studying too and I don't even have other kids to worry about. Is DH working? What do you both do? I am about to finish off cleaning the kitchen and then heading to the gym.

blondiejess1982 · 19/09/2015 14:48

Oh I get it he is working 7 days a week! Gawd what does he do??!

BeautifulLiar · 19/09/2015 14:56

Yeh 7 days most weeks and often miles away! He's an electrician... well training to be one. The first time he worked away I had a 4 year old, 1 year old and 9 week old. He was going "for a week"... came back 7 weeks later!! The baby didn't have a clue who he was and burst into tears at the sight of him. Really worried it's going to happen again!

blondiejess1982 · 19/09/2015 15:01

Have you tried to talk to him? And does he actually need to be away that much? I don't live with my OH so I understand what it's like to a degree. Sometimes you just want a hug because you feel so goddam sick or someone to get you a glass of water! We will be living together soon though.

blondiejess1982 · 19/09/2015 15:02

Still not left for the gym... Must get of my fat arse and go soon Confused
