started a new thread as the old one was getting full up. Thought I would post the link to stats here too so people can update if they want!

Welcome Hayley, think we were POAS buddies on another thread! Good to see you here. I'm due on the 10th too.

Another one here with a very squishy belly, although that's not too much different to normal. Just a touch bigger. I succumbed to maternity trousers this week. Soo much comfier.

We will be finding out gender if we can. I like to be prepared. Maybe we could add a column to the stats spreadsheet for those finding out.

gemsparkle84 · 11/09/2015 09:24

This is a bit random but does anyone else's bump just go to one side? Like when I lay down I've just got a big lump on the left! When I'm stood up bump is a bit squishy too (I'm normally a size 10/12 5 foot 5 and generally weigh between 10 and 10 and half stone so average weight). It just looks so funny! Looks normal when I'm stood up xx just wondered if anyone else was similar? Xx

hayleycookie · 11/09/2015 09:32

Hello again Rhubarb! Nice to find you again after our BFP's :)

I haven't got my 20 week scan date yet... getting impatient for it now. Me and DH have decided we will find out sex. It's not that we have a preference for either gender, more that we are impatient lol DH was going to ask at the 12 if the sonographer had any ideas what bump was!

Gem Mine does when I lay down. So much so that it drags me over to my belly when I try to lay on my side. I have to wedge a small pillow under it to keep me balanced! My bump with DS was VERY one sided too! I'll find a picture for you!

Jealous of everyone NOT putting on weight! I've put on half a stone since getting pregnant, but that is within the ''average'' gain so I'm not too worried :) More worried about losing it afterwards, as I'm Maid Of Honour 3 months after giving birth!

hayleycookie · 11/09/2015 09:33

Gem check out this wonky bump, courtesy of my DS 3 years ago!! Totally normal :)

MotherKat · 11/09/2015 09:36

Hello lovelies, sorry I've not been about, I'm in hospital at the moment whilst they try to rehydrate me, turns out the sickness is partially because we're expecting twins. It's exciting but a bit frightening, I've had a few bleeds, but apparently that's from my uterus stretching, anyone else had anything similar?

Missdee2014 · 11/09/2015 09:40

Do u ever have days where u know you're going to cry but don't know why and for no real reason? I feel so emotional today. Don't know if it's cos I've woke up everyday this week at 4.48 and been unable to get back to sleep or if it's cos I feel like my hips are due to snap in 2. Or it could just me my hormones taking the piss out of me

QforCucumber · 11/09/2015 09:43

Oh wow twins! we said in the beginning there had to be at least one set!
look after yourself mother

I have no discernible bump yet, and my boobs haven't grown at all - but considering they were already a 32ff pre bfp I'm quite glad of it!
Still no weight put on, actually lost under 1lb but had a haircut yesterday for the first time in ages and they took off so much I feel lighter haha!

Skin is still awful, all around my jawline and neck I've got these cystic like spots and lumps, really hope they go down soon.
Feeling much more active now though so thinking of shopping for a nice swimming costume and going a couple of times a week as had only just started running when i got bfp so don't really want to risk that. any recommendations for a good swimming costume?

Rosieblossom123 · 11/09/2015 10:08

Mother yay the first twins on the thread, congrats :)

Q my skin is awful too don't know what to do :( I thought It was meant to get better?

Definitely feeling much better today, not putting my hopes up as I was sick on monday so anything can happen haha

I really want to find out the sex today before tomorrow seriously getting impatient :( hurry up 16th October!!

Me624 · 11/09/2015 10:16

My skin has got loads better since being pregnant, but it was awful before, ever since I came off the pill! I'm going straight back on it after the baby's born, it's been so nice having clear skin again!

I think it's strange I haven't put on any weight because my tummy has definitely got loads bigger. I was carrying an extra half a stone to begin with though so I'm glad I haven't ballooned even more, yet ... one of my friends is 30 weeks and has actually lost weight - she was quite overweight to begin with though and has had GD so has had to drastically overhaul her diet.

TriJo · 11/09/2015 10:21

Woke up at 4am today with a nightmare about my 12 week scan. Shut up subconscious mind, you're putting me in a bad mood.

Q Seriously jealous about your lack of boob growth tbh, I started at a similar size (30FF/G) and I'm now filling out a 32H or 30HH at 12+3!

gemsparkle84 · 11/09/2015 13:33

Ha thanks everybody feeling a bit better about the wonky bump!!!

Im sympathising with everyone with the booby issues! I'm normally a 30E I'm now a 32FF! They're massive and so tender!

gemsparkle84 · 11/09/2015 13:38

Hey Motherkat I missed that! Twins! Congrats! Star

missnatalie · 11/09/2015 13:42

Welcome to all the newbies Smile

I s anyone feeling any movements / flutters yet? Im 14 +2 today and I'm 99% sure that I'm feeling flutters already. This is my 3rd baby. Wasn't until around 18w with my first and around 15w with my second. All feels a little more real now. There is defiantly a baby in my tummy Grin

JoannaZZ · 11/09/2015 14:24

Missdee what's SPD? Sounds bad, hope it doesn't last the whole 6 months.

I had another scan yesterday and the baby is not too small Grin Such a relief! Either they had measured it wrong last week or it grew 3 weeks' worth in a week (unlikely!). So today I'm officially w14+6 and the due date is 5 March.

Looking at computer screens is no longer making me feel as sick so I'll be able to keep up with you guys a bit better now.

As for exercise, I'm gonna try to get back into yoga now that I feel less sick. There's a free online class here if anyone is interested.

Also, if anyone else is into meditation, there's a special program for pregnancy on www.headspace.com. It's not free though but I've been a member for over a year and love it! And the pregnancy pack was released just after I got pregnant, so random!

TriJo · 11/09/2015 14:28

Joanna I've signed up to start a prenatal yoga course in the last week of September, I'll be around 15 weeks then. Really looking forward to it, yoga always puts me in such a good mood.

Sitting at home waiting for DH to get home from work before heading out to my 12 week scan. Getting quite nervous...

Rosieblossom123 · 11/09/2015 14:42

Joanna that's great news about baby growing :) isn't it amazing how much they change in just a couple of weeks? you're a day ahead of me, starting to feel human again which is good last time I was sick was Monday so fx it was the last one haha

julesldn · 11/09/2015 14:53

Mother - twins! Yay! So excited for you! Hope the sickness starts to get better soon.

Missdee - yes, feel emotional for no reason from time to time. I think it's hormones for me, sometimes it's good just to have a little cry and let it out!

ReikiMummy · 11/09/2015 16:49

May I join please?

Admitting to have lurked for a little while, but following a miscarriage back in April wouldn't let myself join in until I'd had the dating scan. Which was today.

Had a lovely radiographer who picked up how nervous I was, and did a fabulous job. Told him why I was nervous, and he spent loads of time showing and explaining all the bits of little wiggle that we could see.

EDD 30th March... DD was 2 weeks over her date... OH is hoping Wiggle will be a couple of weeks early and arrive on his birthday - we'll see!

11w 2d..... and just starting to feel like I can breathe again....

Cake Brew Flowers.... And more Cake!

Tri good luck keep us updated Flowers

Welcome Reiki scan picture is so cute :)

Me624 · 11/09/2015 18:05

Welcome Reiki!

Oh my goodness MotherKat twins! Congrats but I'd be totally freaking out too! Coping with one is terrifying enough for me!

Misdee that's rubbish about spd. A lot of friends have suffered but usually not until much later so it's a shame it's started so early for you.

I'm continuing with Pilates rather than yoga, but it's similar and I really enjoy it. My instructor says it's fine to do it right up until the end and some exercises just have to be adapted slightly. Anything that strengthens your core ahead of the birth is good!

TriJo · 11/09/2015 18:23

All went well, EDD moved forward another 2 days so now 20/3. Definitely no Cheltenham for DH!

Poppins27 · 11/09/2015 18:30

Haha trijo my DP had an all expenses trip paid to Cheltenham booked too...to say he is gutted is an understatement!! Oops!!

Congratulations on the scan Smile

gemsparkle84 · 11/09/2015 18:51

Right so I just wondered what you ladies opinions were on alcohol...

Haven't had anything since finding out I was pregnant. I'm going away with the girls tomorrow and would LOVE a small glass of white with a meal but I know I'll have a sip and then feel too guilty so probably won't even finish it!!! Wink I just wondered if anyone had had a drink/ planned to have a drink? Xxx

BeautifulLiar · 11/09/2015 18:58

Gem I won't drink a drop. Only because I drank when I was 20 weeks + with my first child and I will always regret it. No excuse but I was 18, had no support and was deeply depressed.

I'm sure one small wine will be fine... I just go to the other extreme now and probably won't even have a bucks fizz at Christmas!

MyNameIsSuz · 11/09/2015 18:59

Well, I haven't wanted any, but when I was pregnant with ds in 2012 the advice was different and the odd one or two was supposedly fine. Again I didn't want it so didn't drink, but did go to two weddings while pregnant and have a glass of fizz at each for the toasts. Gave me horrible heartburn!
