started a new thread as the old one was getting full up. Thought I would post the link to stats here too so people can update if they want!

Suz my boobs have grown quite a bit. I don't remember this happening last time (girl) but I had just finished breastfeeding so don't know if that made a difference...

MyNameIsSuz · 10/09/2015 17:43

Ooh maybe not then... Will be interesting to see! I'm still putting all my money on boy for this one...

Me624 · 10/09/2015 17:57

Interesting, my boobs are huge so possibly girl for me? I have been sort of thinking of it as a boy though! I honestly don't mind, if I have a slight preference it's for girl simply because DH and I really can't agree on boy names and keep arguing about it whereas there's a few girl named we both like so that would be easier Grin

MyNameIsSuz · 10/09/2015 18:00

Haha me, we're exactly the same! Poor ds didn't get a name for days, I have so many girl names but we just don't agree at all on boy ones.

BeautifulLiar · 10/09/2015 18:09

Me three. If we have a boy he just won't have a name. Ever.

MyNameIsSuz · 10/09/2015 18:26

We could just use the girl names anyway, start a trend? "Yes, this is my youngest son, cecilia"

BeautifulLiar · 10/09/2015 18:28

Fab idea Suz! "Meet my beautiful boy, Nancy!"

marmitemofo · 10/09/2015 18:29

That's interesting about the breast theory! My boobs grew v quickly with DD but they have barely grown this time... We will be finding out the sex because we're both too impatient and a surprise at 20 weeks is the same as at 40 weeks to us. We're also struggling with names so will be good to be able to focus on one sex.

I've managed to keep on top of shaving my legs as I have an electric shaver so just buzz it over my legs every couple of days, much quicker than when I used to wet shave. Its not quite as close but tbh I'm a really hairy person so I have stubble basically immediately when I wet shave. My belly is also super hairy at the moment! Trying to keep it tidy down there because I know once my bump gets bigger its going to be very hard! My sex drive has also disappeared since getting my bfp, mostly due to sickness. We've been managing once a week though which is basically just enough to keep DP going Blush

My bump is quite big. I can suck it in quite a bit though so think its just my muscles are crap after DD despite all my efforts to strengthen my core, so its all hanging out. I've not weighed myself in a while but last time I did, a couple of weeks ago, I hadn't put on weight in the 6 weeks since my booking in scan. So I'm managing to keep on top of it, I hope. I have an exercise bike in my front room and managed to do it twice this week for forty minutes, hoping I can get back into the swing of exercise once the sickness is gone.

Just checking in again. Sorry I've been lame but I'm lost without the app as only nosey on here through my phone!!

beautiful that scan pic is fabulous!!

Ginger I am so relieved for you re the nuchal reading!!

shez what an utterly horrible experience to go through, now some time has passed I hope your feeling a bit calmer about the accident. Can't even bring myself to say calmer about the abuse as there's no forgiving that!!

rosie cute bump!!

I hope that's the main points covered?!

Well I'm 14 weeks today, sickness has passed, appetite has returned with a vengeance (particularly for prawn related foods!!), squishy belly well and truly expanding along with boobs and bum...feel positively blimp like...and daren't look at the scales!! Shock

Absolutely can't decide whether to find out sex at 20week scan (23rd Oct for any scan buddies?! ). Didn't find out with Dd but was convinced she was a boy. A girl would be handy this time and could save me a fortune clothes wise, but I loved the surprise?! Also convinced this will be a boy as would mean starting again with blue bits...and cannot think of any boys names me and DP can agree on!! Confused

IndomitabIe · 10/09/2015 19:14

Hello!

I've got a squishy pot belly too. The way I think of it, my uterus is still down in my pelvis, but it's taking up a lot of room that used to be where my intestines were! So my squishy belly is all my intestines being pushed up and splurging out over my pelvic bone (barely contained by my abdominal muscles that only partly recovered from DS). So the 'bump' effect is because of the baby/uterus, but it's just insides stat are splurging at the moment. (Taught a lot of digestive system this week so I've been looking at a lot of diagrams and thinking about it).

I had a proper overreaction at work today. Colleagues all sorted me out (I didn't cry, fortunately, but went very red!). They must think I'm a nutter. I feel like an idiot! Made a daft admin error too. Think I need more sleep.

QforCucumber · 10/09/2015 20:40

Letter came today - 20week scan is on the 21st October! Smile it's at 8:20am so no waiting around all day at work like I had to Monday!
So only beautiful and I who aren't finding out Is that right? How exciting!!

Missdee2014 · 10/09/2015 21:02

Fab news Ginger! Love your scan Beautiful! So pleased for you.

Welcome to all the newbies and nice to see the other scan and bump pics. I'm defo getting a bump, it's just currently hiding under the jelly belly Hmm

Gingerlady123 · 10/09/2015 21:02

My baby won't have a name if it's a boy for ages as well.
Me and dp really clash on baby boy names, his favourite is hunter. Mine is Nathan.
We agree on a lot of girls names though

Gingerlady123 · 10/09/2015 21:02

Thanks everyone. We are really pleased and a lot more hopeful :)

Poppins27 · 10/09/2015 21:32

Q, I'm actually 99.9 % certain we won't find out when push comes to shove!! Would only find out if we agreed to not tell anybody else, just get really funny when bumps have proper names etc before being born, really really each to their own and obviously bugger all to do with me but just not something I would do?! Probably as I if I'd known Dd was a girl id have put money on me calling her Isabella, loved the name from day 1 but when she arrived she just absolutely didn't suit it!!

Missdee2014 · 10/09/2015 21:56

I think we are going to find out what we're having. I never found out with the dd's but dp is desperate to find out if we are having a boy or not. I would rather not know, I think! I don't have a preference so I guess that's why I'm not as fussed as he is. So far we can't agree on a girls name but have on a boys. Not 100% decided but we do both really like it.

Missikat · 10/09/2015 22:14

Q we are scan buddies! I am also not going to find out the sex. Although if mynameis's theory is right then it will be girl as my boobs have grown loads more than with DS. (But then again that may be due to the 11lb gained so farBlush....I
Kind of wish I did get sick whole pregnant rather than just hungry from +hpt onwards!).

My belly is definitely squishy and not bumpy yet. Jealous of the cute little bumps appearing so far!

Missikat · 10/09/2015 22:18

I'm also really hoping for a girl. If we have another boy he also will have no name for days like DS (took three days). Especially seeing as three of my close mum friends are pregnant (and one has just had twins) and three of my very short list of names that we had from DS have been used, or planning to be used by them! Back to the name drawing board!

julesldn · 10/09/2015 22:43

We won't be finding out either Q! DP wants to but I said no, I fancy a surprise! I'm the same as you Poppins - always wonder why people are set on a name before meeting the baby but then again what do I know haha. Maybe that's just my excuse because we can't think of a single boys name we like and only a couple of girls names (and we have a fe family members due before us too.. Eek!)

Went flat viewing tonight and put an offer in for a possible flat to rent. Fingers crossed!

So proud of you all keeping up with exercise Grin im taking my belly (and unruly bikini line) swimming tomorrow Blush

docmcstuffins1 · 11/09/2015 00:18

Q and missikat we're all scan buddies! I am going to find out though, my logical brain won't cope with not knowing!
My boobs are massive (gone from a B to a DD) so maybe a girl for me, can't wait to find out!
Rosie, cut bump. I just got some cheap ones of eBay to start, will invest in a better pair when I'm bigger and get paid.

AdorabeezleWinterpop · 11/09/2015 03:14

I had my consultant appointment today. I have to take aspirin every day until 37 weeks and I wlll need extra scans after 20 weeks. My next appointment is at 21 weeks to discuss delivery. All due to a placental abruption last time...

Missdee2014 · 11/09/2015 05:26

Adora, I'm also on aspirin every day Hmm not entirely convinced it will make a difference but I'll do as im told for a change. I've also to get an extra scan at 28 weeks as apparently I have small babies. Although I'm 5'1 and my babies were 6lb and 7lb 4oz so not sure why as they are in proportion for my height and build. Not complaining though as we get to see baby on screen an extra time Smile

On a moany note. My SPD has well and truly kicked in as has the heartburn. Could cry with the spd pain I'm in tonight already. It's going to be a long 6 months as its only going to get worse. Sad

marmitemofo · 11/09/2015 07:47

Sorry to hear about your SPD miss Sad

With DD I have to admit me and DP had our name picked out years ago! We just loved one name and always wanted to use it. My MIL said 'what if she comes out and doesn't look like an A' and we said well we'll pick a new name! I think it would have been weirder if they'd got it wrong and she'd been a boy! This time I doubt we'll have a name picked out before the baby is born as we can't agree on any - we like some names but not enough to be certain on. I also know three friends having four babies between them due in the next three months so depends on what names they have!

BeautifulLiar · 11/09/2015 08:15

Also got my scan on the 21st Oct! DH is desperate to know. I am too tbh but will wait 6 months :)

Everyone keeps saying they think it's a boy. I kind of think it is too. But after two girls with DH, I just can't imagine us having a boy. I'm pretty sure the chance is still 50/50 but I dunno. Luckily I do have a boy, and DH doesn't mind either way.

I've got to have grown scans too as mine were quite small... but they gradually got bigger and I am 5"0! My biggest one was 6lb exactly... if this is more than 7lb I shall cry. Haha.

BeautifulLiar · 11/09/2015 08:17

Growth scans I mean of course!

DD always had her name picked out. If she didn't look like her name she was still getting it... i love it. We found out her sex privately at 15 weeks! Crazy to think technically we could find out what this is in around 10 days.
