DH appears to be having my morning sickness for me. I am teasing him about being a hysterical first time father. I suspect I won't be laughing quite so much when I have caught his bug/start getting morning sickness etc. Although I do have horrible bloating and some incredible farts at the moment, so he has been having fun at my expense for days.

My boos has asked me 4 times today how I am feeling. He is acting more like the anxious dad than my OH.

We told some more friends today. I have decided just not to bother being british about it. I am doing my own thing and having fun. It is very refreshing. I will still see how long it takes for the girls at work to figure it out. That is too good a game not to play. Grin

Cautiously joining !

Been TTC for a year....have a 3 yr old DS

Had a MC on 1st April this year and a 2nd MC on 1st August this year. Completely shocked that i am pregnant again...in a whole year i havent had a normal cycle....yet this cycle has been completely textbook but i havent yet had a period even after the last MC !

I was rushed to theatre and had a laproscopy on the last MC as they feared ectopic so im wondering if thats how i managed to get pregnant so quickly....we have literally done it once from the last MC so based on that i think i am 4+3 today !

Have been to see GP and she has done the referal to the early pregnancy clinic so they should have an appt for me for a first scan in under 2 weeks time when im 6 weeks ....it has already been the longest 2 and a bit days in my life...im in for a long few weeks !

Good luck to everyone x

Congrats and welcome beanie sounds like it's been a long journey for you. Fx for a smooth pregnancy this time around.

Belmo · 02/09/2015 22:09

Hello!
Can I very tentatively peek my head in the door?! Had a super faint but definitely there bfp today - period not actually due til Friday, and I haven't told DH yet, although I'm desperate to. Want to hold on for a more impressive line but not sure I'll manage!
Due date (omg!) would/will be 13th of May. Have a nearly 4 year old already, and we were planning on trying for a second at the end of the year but it appears we may have jumped the gun!

Brenna24 · 02/09/2015 22:19

Welcome and best of luck Beanie Fx for a 3rd time lucky.

Hi Belmo May is a good month to be having babies. Glad you jumped the gun a bit.

Hello everyone, mind if I join? I'm 5+3 at the moment and due 4th May. It's my first so I'm really excited :) no nausea yet, just occasional sore nipples and have been feeling a bit grumpy the last couple of days (but that might just be me!). Congratulations to you all.

Daphnedolittle · 03/09/2015 07:35

Welcome bluepigoon Smile
Its also my first and I'm due on 4th May. Although I'm only 5+1 so now I'm wondering if I calculated my due date wrong. How did everyone calculate theirs?

Daphnedolittle · 03/09/2015 07:45

Ignore me, just realised the due date calculators take into account cycle length!

Thanks for the advice on telling friends & fam ODog, I've been having such dilemma about telling parents, BFFs & my boss. I'm 5 weeks now, 12 weeks seems like forever!

When is everybody else telling their employees?? And when do you start wearing a "Baby on Board" badge on public transport?? I'm so nervous about falling over.

Congrats Kbbbeanie, Rugby Widow & Silver, wishing you all the best after your tough journeys!!!

Picolette · 03/09/2015 09:29

Those t-shirts are super cute Seeyalater!! Making me wish I had little ones to make our announcement Smile

ODog · 03/09/2015 10:20

I'm defo going to get a big brother tshirt for our post scan announcement. I told my employees early on last time due to being offered a new role as I mentioned before, but will probably wait until the 12wk scan this time. I want to take a year career break after my years mat leave so I want to give them as much notice as possible really.

I never wore a baby on board badge last time. I travelled into London on a busy mainline and then the central line but never felt I needed it. I usually turned down seats when I was big enough for it to be obvious too. It's up to each individual though, I had an easy pregnancy and always felt ok to stand. If you don't then wear one from now.

ODog · 03/09/2015 10:52

Catching up on one born while the baby naps. Why I put myself through this? I've also recorded Katie piper extraordinary births. I'm putting all my faith in a hypno birth this time. Anyone else hypno birthed and loved it?

RugbyWidow7 · 03/09/2015 12:32

I ordered the CDs and lay on the sofa listening to them, but can't say I got any further than that, despite being enthusiastic. I hope you achieve a bit more odog!

Seeyalater · 03/09/2015 13:38

I'm A midwife, and see lots of women find hypnobirthing very helpful, I'd say go for it.

Welcome and congrats to beanie, belmo and bluepigoon! Exciting but a nerve wracking time isn't it. I've got the same symptoms as you bluepigoon and I'm also struggling to sleep, I keep waking up early about 4.30 or 5!
Those t shirts are a great way to announce it seeyoulater.
My dentist card reminder came in today, I don't think I'll mention it to him unless he asks or I need an X-ray? I don't want the dentist to be one of the first to know haha

AlfieandAnnieRose · 03/09/2015 13:45

Hey has anybody heard the rumours that Kate Middleton is in the early stages of pregnancy and due early May? Just a rumour though! But how exciting if she is

ODog · 03/09/2015 14:05

Good to have a midwife on the thread seeyou.

Can you wait until you get your maternity exemption card after booking in alfie. Then you get dental checkups and treatment free.

AlfieandAnnieRose · 03/09/2015 14:28

I didn't even think of that ODog thank you

FuzzyDucker · 03/09/2015 16:39

I am bleeding and cramping :( gp told me to take a pregnancy test tomorrow and if it's negative I'm out :(

AlfieandAnnieRose · 03/09/2015 16:46

Oh Fuzzy I'm sorry to hear that. I'll be thinking of you, I hope everything will be ok

Brenna24 · 03/09/2015 17:01

Oh no Fuzzy I will be thinking of you too.

ODog · 03/09/2015 17:09

Oh no, fx it's nothing fuzzy. Let us know how you get on.

FuzzyDucker · 03/09/2015 17:36

Negative test :(

Brenna24 · 03/09/2015 18:08
